we made a short trip to Otaru to visit some of its good izakayas, we took a room with 4 beds, it was a nice surprise the distribution of the spaces in the room. Our room had two almost separate areas, in the main area two beds and a couch, the second area was a small terrace with the other two beds, the access to the terrace was a staircase in the room. the terrace was a very pleasant space, even though it is not possible to stand in the terrace area because the ceiling is very low, the terrace gives an air of independence being in the same room, each bed has its space to recharge the cell phone and has an independent lamp. our room had an elegant glass balcony with a beautiful view. the shower area is very elegant with a fairly modern and clean design. the television system was fun too, our room had a projector with a very good video quality I really liked my stay at the hotel and I hope to stay there again soon

The location is very quiet because it is located in line with the former Bank of Japan building, not along the canal. It is close to the mall shopping street, so it is close to the sushi shop, the cake house in Hanazono town and the shinkuraya. There is also Lawson next door. The parking lot can be deposited from 13:00 before check-in, so it is ideal for sightseeing such as the canal, the must-see Otaru Art Village, and the Otaru City Literature Museum. As soon as you leave the canal, you will see a local-priced shop that is not a tourist price, and I think the location is wonderful. In addition, the view from the hotel room overlooking the harbor was wonderful. We were in a smaller condition, extra bed, in a not large room, but we were very comfortable. I think it's also because the door is thick or I can't hear the sound of other rooms at all. However, the bath in the room is small. Instead, the large communal bath on the top floor is not a hot spring, but the view is good and clean. It is also a good impression that the lockers that can be used were restricted so that they would not be crowded, probably because of corona measures. Breakfast buffet does not include fish * or crabs that tourists to Hokkaido are looking for. Still, it is delicious with local vegetables and Alice Farm jams. The menu is more Western than Japanese, but there are many warm foods and it warms up even in snowy Otaru. Thickly sliced bacon and steamed vegetables were very delicious. Also, the staff was young and I liked it very much even though it was crispy. The front desk staff guided me in the snow when I entered the parking lot. It was also active at the breakfast venue, so it seems that it will help where human hands are needed. It is also advanced as a business hotel that can calm down with a lot of new indirect lighting. We recommend that the husband of the corner-style liquor store, which is located at the edge of the arcade after dinner, is the most friendly and friendly if you drink a glass of sake. This is a hotel I stayed for a family trip. The location is good, it's clean, and the staffs are nice and friendly. However, I was disappointed with the low ceilings and narrow bathroom in the room. The furniture lacks cohesion and appears mismatched. It seems like a room renovation is needed.

The stay in OMO5 was an excellent experience. Start from reception arranging us where to park our car, to details of helping us to arrange restaurant was very touching and appreciated. The atmosphere, deco, cleanliness was all tip top better than what we expected. Thanks to the house team who did their effort to make our stay memorable

Fantastic location overlooking the canals in Otaru. Best thing about the hotel was having a separate bathroom and a separate toilet… Especially useful when travelling with families! Gorgeous stained glass window and you can see the amazing sunset from the top floor as well  Reception was large and the front desk folk were very friendly and helpful. Overall would highly recommend this hotel  

I almost always take care of Mr. Ocent when I go to Otaru. I usually book a twin room, but this time I used travel support, so I rushed to make it a deluxe twin. It was nice and awesome, but it's a little disappointing that a new hotel was built nearby and the view on the sea side was blocked. The staff at the front desk and lounge were also very polite. The cleaning staff passing each other through the corridor 々 and greetings are very pleasant (the same every time I stay) It is convenient to go anywhere for meals and sightseeing. You can go through the arcade to Otaru Station, so it's very helpful when the weather is bad. The food in the hotel is very delicious and it's a really recommended hotel.

Low price but good quality 😍 Free coffee is available in lobby Perfect location just opposite to the JR station (Otaru) Supermarket is just right next to the hotel We bought a lot of food to our room (sashimi and dessert) we got two pear jelly cups for welcoming gifts 😊 We can enjoy free ramen and ice lolly after the wonderful hot spring bath

I stayed for 3 nights this time and the boss was considerate and upgraded me to a double room. Thank you very much! The courtyard has a very family Japanese classical garden atmosphere, which is different from the feeling of an ordinary hotel. It is nice to have hand-brewed coffee in the public area. The boss is very nice and communicates entirely in Chinese, so there is no need to worry about language communication.

When I checked in, I happened to meet a high school baseball team staying at the hotel. It was very interesting. It is a hotel that should be very popular among locals. It's a pity that it's a bit too hot to live in summer. It's very suitable for ski tourists.

We stayed at Yu Kiroro for one week and it was the best vacation my family could have asked for! You definitely need a car if you will be staying here and there’s plenty of parking for guests outside and near the hotel across the street. The entrance is very welcoming and we felt at home right away. When you check in, each guest receives a complementary parfait and one access to private onsen. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with dish-washer, oven, microwave, and a massive fridge so we simply bought groceries when we felt like staying in at a local supermarket (I recommend TRIAL). The bathrooms were also very nice with room and floor heating so your feet won’t get cold in the morning. The sheets were crisp and clean and the massive window in each room had an amazing view and sunlight on a good day. The restaurant within the hotel was very affordable yet served high quality food with great view of nature. They also offer family friendly activities such as horse riding, morning walks, and outdoor bbq. Overall, it was a great experience to escape from the city to relax and go to onsen every night before it closes at 12 am. They are also very reasonable with room keeping and respectful with our privacy and time as we stayed in a lot. This place is a must try, and we will definitely go back especially in winter!
