The condo was nice and clean, however, the elevators were horribly slow. 30-45 minute wait for an elevator. Never really spoke to any employees, they didn’t seem very helpful. Have to leave an ID to get a luggage cart. It’s ok, but not great. There are two outdoor pools, one on either side of the resort, but only one has a bar/snow cone place. There is also an indoor pool but it was like a hot tub, it’s hot! I’ve stayed at better, but also stayed at worse resorts.

Worst elevators on the beach!! Would not recommend staying here unless you are fine being stuck at one place. Rooms were great but would never stay again due to elevators. It takes you about 45 min every trip to get where you’re going. It’s a vacation you will work out at!

The unit we stayed in was great and the view was beautiful. But, over half the elevators were out of service. This was a chore to leave the condo. Not the resort, the CONDO itself. Don’t even think about going near an elevator between 8am-11pm. But 3-7pm?? You will wait an hour. An HOUR. For elevators. We walked to/from the 14th floor more than once. There are 500+ units, 30 floors and typically 1-2 of the 7 elevators were functional during our 5 day stay. The pools are small and outdated. The “tiki bar”? Hasn’t been updated since 1990. We have been to PCB 10 times, we will avoid this one like the plague.

Don’t GO!! They have major issues with elevators. You will be waiting for at least an hour! They have seven elevators and only four of them were working. You have to get up very early to get down to the beach and then don’t expect to go back to your room anytime soon. It’s gonna take you an hour to get back up! On our five day trip we spent probably 8-10 hours just waiting on the elevator…. Don’t let this vacation spot waste your vacation!

We went on a family vacation. Group of 10 This is a very expensive place to stay. Its was terrible!! First of all it should be a priority in a 30 floor building for all elevators to be working!! It was 30 min at times to get on an elevator. We stayed on the 9th floor. It was also very old and dated, needs a major renovation. Needs more amenities and more up to date amenities. A snooze fest for the elderly population. The views were pretty but I would have rather stayed somewhere else.

The room was fairly nice, but nothing spectacular. Now, to what we thought of the resort.... Any special amenities are still not worth the elevator issues. We were on the 16th floor. Due to the long lines, and not enough elevators, it took nearly 2 hours to get everything to the room. We are trying to leave at the moment. It is Monday morning and we started transporting our belongings at 8:00. It is now 10:40. The rest of our luggage and party were still stuck on the 16th floor since 10:00. And... at 10:40, still stuck on the 16th floor. Now, let me tell you about ordering food at the Tiki bar. My grandchildren's other grandmother ordered a child's cheeseburger and fries. When I went to do the same, I was told I couldn't order the child's portion. I tried to explain as a senior citizen, I can't finish standard portions anymore. I did finally get my way since they let someone else in my party order the kids portion. My daughter in law was jumped on because she was outside smoking away from everyone. Okay, it is now 10:54 and they just now were able to get on an elevator. 3 hours to load up 2 carts full of luggage and leave. I will pay an extra $1000 next year to save this headache.

The condo we stayed in was great. No issues. My big complaint is the resort elevators. We have to wait FOREVER and there were a couple out of service. There were two different families that got stuck in the garage elevator. They had elevator employees running the elevators and would not even go to some floors. It was like certain floors were priority and they would get to you eventually. This resort has 30 floors. You should have enough elevators to accommodate this at max capacity. Throughout our whole stay, our fellow guests expressed the same thoughts about them. We also made mention in our personal social media that the place we were staying had the worst elevators and our friends all guessed it was Tidewater, so this seems to be an ongoing issue for years. We will never stay here again if we can help it.

The condo we rented was 5-star. Resort should be 0-star. Elevators are the worst we have ever used. Seven elevators to serve 570 units. Parking garage is across the street and there is a walkway on the second floor. Carts for your luggage are kept in the walkway and you can check them out for arrival and departure. Plenty of carts but the wait to get an elevator could be as long as an hour. No excuse for that! The on-site restaurant, Waves, has a bad review because it is understaffed. We stopped by once and a grouchy young lady was at the cash register announcing she was the only server. We left. If you want to rent beach chairs and umbrellas, guests start lining up at 7:00 am and they don’t open the kiosk until 8:30. If you bring your own chairs and umbrellas, there is a chair czar who tells you where you can set up - only in the wet sand and no regular height chairs that would block the ocean view of those who rented the chairs. REALLY? It’s a big ocean peeps. We met one friendly employee who helped us get an elevator. We met about 10 guests who actually smiled. It was a chore to do anything at the Tidewater Resort. Will never stay there again.

Rented through Airbnb. The condo we rented was great. The property not so much. As indicated in other reviews the elevators are horrible. Even in non peak hours you will wait forever. The guys renting the chairs out front for the property are not to be trusted. Paid cash for 2 chairs for 2 days as I was told I would be charged 10% if I used a card. I was told they were mine for the next 2 days and could come and go as I pleased. Day 2 I was confronted with a rude employee who told me I was in some else’s chairs. He escorted me to the hut as he chastised me on how I was suppose to check in. I was told they Forgot to write my reservation from the previous day. Do not trust them!! There are much better properties in Panama City. Do not choose this one.
