Daocheng County Hotels with Free Parking.

We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yading. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the bus station for the hiking trails and incredible mountain views. The owner was such a legend! He was incredibly friendly and hospitable, always happy to help. We got breakfast and dinner provided for an extra cost, both very yummy and generous portions! Our room was very clean, spacious, and very comfortable, the bed was especially cosy. Thank you again for such a great stay!

This hotel is highly recommended. Located within the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, it's just a few minutes' walk from the visitor center. It has its own large parking lot in front, convenient for those traveling by car. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, and even have underfloor heating. They also provide oxygen concentrators to help with altitude sickness. Special praise goes to the hotel owner, who is not only beautiful but also incredibly gentle and kind. She is extremely considerate of guests, treating them like family and valued guests. She even personally explains the scenic routes and highlights to guests; this heartwarming service deserves high praise. I would definitely stay here again next time.

The location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Personally, I think the CP value is very high 😬, you can see the beautiful scenery, and the bed is super comfortable. As long as you don’t care about bathing, you will really feel grateful to live here 😬. At night, because there is not much light pollution, you can see the Big Dipper from the window of the room. The next day, there are buses distributed at 7:30 in the scenic area, so you can go early to buy battery tickets. If you have no weight problem, you can also buy horse racing tickets, which is very convenient. Climbing to Five Color Lake may have exceeded the physical limit. My husband developed hyperresponsiveness and checked out one day early. The boss may have thought that we were not satisfied with the accommodation, so he quickly came to the room to see us. He learned that it was because we were feeling uncomfortable, and he enthusiastically helped us. We contacted the passenger bus down the mountain and helped us carry our luggage. If we have another chance to go there next time, we will still choose this hotel. A little further down the road from this hotel is a store. If you need hiking poles, you can buy them here, as well as gloves and snacks. Overall, it's a good experience.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

Location is great, in the center of Riwa. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Only 10minutes to the entrance of Yading. Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted. The room is ok but there is always smoking smell in the room (maybe from the room nextdoor)

The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region.

I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling alone, and I highly recommend it to all fellow travelers. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Yading National Park, making it the ideal base for exploring. The pricing is reasonable, and the hospitality of the host was outstanding. She went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed. I plan to return here on my next visit, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends as well.

It was a great place for a Westerner to stay. The staff were very helpful. The location was great and there were plenty of food and drink options.Very close by

I was there twice, before and after visiting yading reserve. The first time was nice, the room and shower weren't the best but ok, and the lady at the reception was super helpful with all my questions. On the second time, there was a problem with the water which I only found out after I entered the shower. A small sign could have helped. Eventually I got the water for the shower but later I wanted to go for the toilet and couldn't flush since there were no water, and there was nobody at the reception to ask for help. They changed my bed and the wall near the new bed was filty, and somewhen after midnight they entered the room while I was asleep, turned the light on and started changing the covers for a new girl in the room. I'm sorry but that should have happened during daylight, not at this time, or they should have just given her one of the other vacant beds in the room.
