Zhangye Hotels with Free Parking.

On my way from Lanzhou to Zhangye by high-speed train, I quickly scanned my itinerary and spontaneously chose Runhu Holiday Hotel! It was truly a fantastic hotel! The shuttle driver was incredibly gentle and soft-spoken, never rushing. He helped me with my luggage, always placing it where there were no steps, making it easy to pull. The front desk staff was also great, informing me about the basic evening services and telling me to just call if I needed anything. I have to praise the room – it was spacious and bright, with lighting exactly to my liking, and the layout was excellent. A nice little detail: after I washed some clothes, they immediately provided a small packet of laundry detergent the next day! When I called for a latex pillow, it was delivered promptly the next day – very responsive! Plus, there were daily snacks and fruits, and the beverages were free! They even had a humidifier! I didn't get to use the foot bath, though. I'll definitely choose Runhu again when I come back to Zhangye! It's really excellent! 👍

Our stay at Colorful Danxia Flower House Hotel was truly exceptional—easily a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even personally helping us carry our luggage upstairs. His hospitality didn’t stop there—he kindly assisted us in booking tickets for a local show and even drove us there himself, which made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice.

The hotel's location is excellent, in a quieter part of the city, and there are plenty of dining options within a two to three-kilometer radius. **Service:** Fantastic, incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic! A big shout out to all the staff! 👍 **Cleanliness:** Very clean. **Facilities:** Has everything you could need, including a laundry room and a gym. **Breakfast:** The variety is extensive and caters to pretty much everyone.

After comparing several accommodations for my trip to Zhangye Danxia, I chose Kaoshan Daying (Back Mountain Camp). The Starry Sky Yurt was what truly captivated me, and my entire stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.

The hostel is good cared and clean. I think I saw a housekeeper every time when I went out from my room and she was always cleaning smth. That attitude already says a lot about the place. There is a nice not big common area with TV and we even watched a bit of Titanic, water dispenser with available cold and hot water. The staff is speaking English and they organise different tours around the area. It’s very handy. We took 2 tours with them and enjoyed a lot. One to PingShanHu canyon and another to Colourful Danxia. We also met many good-hearted foreign and local travellers there and made friends with some. Speaking about the room the condition was good enough. We shared one room with my friend. It’s a great value for money. Thank you for the incredible stay!

Located right in front of Zhangye West Station, the hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, yet the price was surprisingly low, offering unbeatable value for money. It's also ideal for exploring Zhangye, with a round-trip bus to Rainbow Mountains (Binggou Danxia Scenic Area) available from the nearby travel center (45 RMB round trip, departing at 8:30 AM and returning at 1:20 PM). You can even take the Route 1 bus directly to the Giant Buddha Temple without any transfers. Being so close to Zhangye West Station also allowed me to make a day trip to Jiayuguan Pass and witness the westernmost end of the Great Wall.

This hotel was fantastic – great location, facilities, comfort, and excellent service. We were warmly welcomed, had a smooth check-in, and they even asked about our room preferences. English is also spoken here. The rooms are beautiful and, most importantly, very clean. The service staff even arranged our airport transfer, which was impressive considering we had a lot of luggage and usually need two taxis. The breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone's taste. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a great location, with many places to eat around. The room is large! Clean and tidy. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. Parking is convenient, you can park on the ground or underground!

There is a bathtub! Bath 🛀🏻 thief comfortable 〔 Facilities〕 There are two buildings. The front one can have breakfast. We live in the back one. There are also small conference rooms, medium conference rooms and the like. But there is no air conditioning in the room, although the temperature there does not need air conditioning at night. 〔 Geographical location 〕 Liuba Town in Minle County (seems to be called this), there is a 20 or 30 kilometers away from the county seat, there are many small restaurants in the town, but the door is closed earlier, and most of them are closed before ten o'clock, so it is best to live here early. Go early. To be improved: the TV will not be watched, I don't know how to adjust. The wifi in my room cannot be used (408), and it can be connected to other rooms.
