"The hotel is located within 10 minutes walj from the Jiaoxi Bus station. Many nice eating places nearby and there is a night market outside the hotel. Very impressed with the clean spacious room with a big spa tub inside! We had a marvellous time at the various indoor and outdoor hot springs and my daughter enjoyed the water slide. There are also steam rooms and suanas. We had a memorable stay as we witnessed 7+ scale earthquake that night but the hotel building foundation is solid and safe. We will definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who wants to visit Yilan hot spring area!"

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out. The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch! What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!

The guesthouse I stayed at this time was in Toucheng, Yilan, very close to the Toucheng Interchange, called Craftsman's Little Wooden House. I felt it was a very tasteful place. The little wooden house definitely gave me a relaxing feeling. Upon entering, the high ceilings and stairs leading to the upper bunk made the room feel more like a three-dimensional geometric space than a flat map. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the lack of chairs. There was only one for a vanity table, and the rest were outdoor chairs on the back balcony. The interior was mostly cushioned on the floor, in a Japanese style, but for someone like me with osteoporosis, standing up and squatting down was incredibly difficult, haha. But I can't blame the owner; it's just my personal problem. Overall, however, it was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, served in the common area on the first floor: simple toast, congee, and a few side dishes. It was quite satisfying, and I felt warmly cared for. This room type appears to accommodate up to eight people. There are two double beds on the lower bunk and two people sleeping on each side of the upper bunk, so it can comfortably fit eight people, making it quite suitable for family trips. It's very close to Jiaoxi at night, so you can go for a hot spring bath, find some food, or even call a panda (a local restaurant). Living comfortably is no problem.

Overall, it was a good stay and I'd definitely stay there again. The lobby was grand, the family rooms were spacious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beds were just the right firmness for a good night's sleep! Cons: The elevator was incredibly difficult to wait for when checking out. All three elevators were packed, and the wait was long. The emergency exit only goes to B1, so if you park your car in B2, you still have to find a way to get to B2 by hopping on an elevator from another floor! My kids loved it. There's a pool with hot springs, a ball pool, a PS5, a racing track for little Bubu cars, and a variety of other children's play facilities! It's definitely on my bucket list for future trips with kids!

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is well located, very close to the train, bus station, shops and restaurants, and the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park (about 12 minutes walk). The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including preloaded movies, streaming, a huge bathtub, and a shower. The bed was so comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. The onsen was heavenly (bring a swimsuit and swimcap if you want to partake). I wish there were more signs about opening hours for breakfast and the onsen. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Third visit to the Landis Resort & Spa for a family trip! Every time, my family eagerly requests to celebrate birthdays at this wonderful place. My parents can relax in the hot springs, and the kids can happily splash around in the pool. Special thanks to the attentive hotel service and the professional lifeguards for their care. Everyone had a fantastic time! There's also a stunning beach nearby for a lovely stroll. And I highly recommend Fumei Seafood Restaurant. It was another relaxing and perfect trip! ❤️❤️

Very pleasant experience stay. The customer service was excellent, from the time we walk in with the staff open the door for us to the time we check out. The front desk staff Louis was very helpful and polite. Amenities in the room, hot spring to the spa are provided everything we needed including the dryer for the swimsuit. Private hot springs tub was Great for us who walk all day long and want to have late night hot springs experience. The hotel welcome with afternoons delivered to room. Breakfast with large variety or Japanese and ********* cuisine. Great location, near the train station and next to free public hot spring reserve

This is an amazing family-friendly hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff showed such kindness and empathy towards both children and parents. Room service was also incredibly fast. What touched me most was one morning when my kids were having a meltdown, and we couldn't take them to the downstairs dining area. Once the staff understood the situation, they proactively packed up both our adult and children's breakfasts and brought them to our room – it was truly thoughtful. Even with many guests, the service quality never faltered; you could feel their understanding and care for families with children everywhere. On top of that, the hotel's location is superb! I hadn't done much research beforehand, but while strolling around in the evening, we stumbled upon a lively hot spring street with lots of game stalls that kids loved and street performers. We had a great time just exploring the area around the hotel. I can truly say this isn't just a hotel with family facilities, but one that genuinely understands the needs of families with children. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids – we will definitely be back!

1. The bathtub in the bathroom had cracks, causing the water to drain out, and the sharp edges posed a risk of cuts. 2. Whether it was a pre-booking phone inquiry or check-in communication, the customer service staff consistently used the excuse, ”Because you booked through a third-party platform...” Aren't those third-party bookings still sales made by your hotel? I've recently stayed at IHG group hotels and never experienced such differential treatment. The service quality of the Westin staff needs significant improvement. 3. There was no staff patrolling the women's nude hot spring area. Some guests brought four children who were allowed to play loudly and splash water without anyone intervening, causing discomfort to other guests.

The main reason for staying here this time was because of Valentine's Day, and I wanted to swim or play in the water, but the weather was so cold, so of course I thought of Yilan directly. The hotel part itself is good, and the planning is actually very systematic. The two halls are connected together, so many resources can indeed be shared. The main features of Xueshan are probably the guest rooms and conference rooms, and the other main facilities are all from Zhongguan. Personally, I think such a plan is actually very good for hotel operations. After all, the more rooms there are, the more tourists will be able to enjoy them. As for the one-night-one-meal option, there are actually a lot of choices for breakfast the next day, from porridge, steamed buns, pasta, salads, Western food, ********* food, everything you can think of. As for drinks, there are juice, tea, coffee, soy milk, Yakult, and soup to maximize the satisfaction of all kinds of travelers. I think, no matter how picky a person is, he should still be able to choose some food he wants to eat. If that's not possible, there are Yonghe Soy Milk and 7-11 nearby, so these are really not a problem. As for the room, there are two large pools, one for hot water and the other for cold water, for alternating soaking. The shower facility is also by the pool. It is a very standard hot spring hotel room. We stayed in a quadruple room with two large double beds, one was harder and the other was softer, but I don't know if it was intentional or if it was done this way to allow travelers to make flexible choices. After all, when I went to Japan a while ago, I found that all the beds in a room had different hardness. Some people can choose based on the hardness, which is a convenient business strategy. Overall, the reviews are good and I recommend it to you if you want to stay in Jiaoxi, Yilan. In short, the transportation is very convenient. It is just outside Jiaoxi Railway Station. The nearby business districts are very lively and you can definitely eat whatever you want.

I visited this place once over 20 years ago when it first opened for试营, and coming back after all this time, it's really evolved and improved so much. The only slight downside was a bit of a musty smell in the guest room, but that might just be me being sensitive to smells! Everything else was great, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. As a coffee lover, having a 24-hour coffee machine available anytime was such a thoughtful touch.
