Hamburg Hotels with Free Parking.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center. It’s the attentive service and premium amenities that set this hotel apart. I felt thoroughly pampered and would not hesitate to return for another luxurious stay.

This shouldn't be rated five stars. Compared to hotels in major domestic cities, both the service and hardware are inferior to something like 'All Season Hotel'. It's more on par with an Intercontinental's Holiday Inn. But the service? It's probably worse than a three-star hotel. I dislike bringing up regional differences in service, so I'll just state the objective facts: 1. I've never encountered a hotel, not even a B&B, that would just assign a different room type than what was booked without so much as a greeting or an explanation. I was so exhausted that I didn't even have the energy to communicate or request a room change after entering the room, so I'll just give a bad review. I booked a king-sized bed, but when I walked in, it was clearly two single beds. I don't mind, but at least say something! 2. Hardware: Is this room a renovation? There's a door in the middle of the room connecting to the adjacent room, secured only by two simple locks. It seems the person on the other side could also open it, just like me. If you're going to renovate, why not do it thoroughly? What's the point of having a door that anyone can open? (See picture) 3. Hygiene: There were quite a few towels, but hardly any were clean. Most had disgusting stains. (See picture) 4. The uncle who helped store my luggage at the entrance had a great service attitude. I gave him a 5 euro tip. The front desk staff maintained politeness and respect, but it's nowhere near a five-star hotel experience. 5. The location is acceptable. 6. I booked this quite last minute, and the price was reasonable. Booking in advance might offer better rates. Around 1500 per night in Europe could be considered cheap, but please don't brand it as a 5-star hotel. It's truly misleading.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, very clean, and overall feels well maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I especially liked that coffee and drinks are available anytime, which is a really nice touch. The breakfast was also great, and the pancake machine was such a cute and fun addition. I would also like to give a special thank you to Adrian at the front desk (I hope I spelled his name correctly). He was absolutely fantastic, very kind, professional, and genuinely caring. He communicated clearly and handled everything very well. I even noticed he was training other colleagues, and it was obvious that he understands the business and customer service extremely well. He really made a positive difference during my stay. There was unfortunately one issue with housekeeping during my stay. I had stayed one day, liked it so much stayed 4 more days. On my first day, on several occasions a cleaner entered or attempted to enter my room early in the morning even though check-out was at 12:00. On my first day they knocked at 11am/12/12.30 and actually came in at 12pm, although I had paid for late check out (which by the way is an amazing option to have), while I was still naked in bed.  One cleaner in particular — an older woman with short burgundy/brown hair — was quite abrupt. She repeatedly gestured for me to leave quickly. At one point she pointed at her wrist as if indicating a watch and used hand gestures to signal that I should hurry and leave, even though I still had time before check-out. It felt quite uncomfortable, especially as housekeeping knocked once and then opened the door quickly on a couple of occasions. On my last day, someone actually came in at 10AM in the morning. I just do not understand. I know it is a big hotel, I know they have to get a lot of rooms done in a short amount of time. I just do not understand the aggression of demanding a guest to leave so they can clean. Thankfully, Adrian at the front desk was extremely helpful when I explained the situation. He took my concern seriously and helped communicate with the housekeeping team so it wouldn’t continue. Adrian really saved my stay!

Great stay — second time and still amazing I had another wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Hamburg — this was actually my second time here. The first time I stayed with my mother, and this time with my fiancée, and both experiences have been consistently great. The service is excellent. The staff are always smiling, very kind, and extremely polite, which really makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everything about the hotel feels lovely and well taken care of. The gym is nice and well-equipped, perfect if you want to keep up your routine while traveling. Breakfast is amazing — plenty of options and everything fresh and tasty, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is also fantastic. It’s close to public transport (there’s a tram stop nearby), making it easy to get around the city. There’s also a great falafel/döner spot close by if you’re looking for a late-night snack, which was a fun bonus. Plus, it’s very close to Westfield, where you can enjoy the scenery and find lots of nice restaurants and shops. Overall, an amazing stay once again. Thank you to the whole team — I’ll definitely be back.

I usually try not to give bad reviews, but I got really disappointed with Radisson Blu Hamburg. The not very good experience; • first thing I noticed was the cigarette smell in reception; • huge queue of people wanting to check in, but only two people were in reception; • front desk guy with whom I checked in could not speak English, which made the interaction very difficult (check-in time took 15min); • I booked one room away from elevator, but ended up receiving one right next to it, I then talked to staff, which did not help because I got downgraded to a tinier room; • room not sound-proof, hence could not have one good rest during the night (particularly because you can repeatedly hear the elevator) • finally, very cheap soap, no different from that offered by RADISSON PRIZE. The good; • the staff working during breakfast time was quite friendly; • buffet was decent, nothing fancy, which kind of disappointed me given the price they charge; • room tidy with coffee & tea • unmatched location, right next to train & bus • complimentary bottle of water.

The entrance is under renovation, not sure how long it will take. It's quite clean, but not that close to the station. There are quite a few supermarkets nearby though!!!!!!

The hotel has a good location and very good service; the breakfast is also very good. However, you shouldn't expect too much otherwise, as it's very basic and the rooms are rather small. The twin rooms are also not really recommended for couples.

first of all, the man at the reception did not check that we had already paid for the room. He presented a bill that needs to be paid now. I said several times that we have already paid for the number and showed a copy of the bill. He denied it, but he did a better search and found that we are already paid. He just said it was the software's fault, not his. I have been flying to Hamburg for almost 3 years and staying for a few days and booking a hotel. I have never had such a misunderstanding in other districts of Hamburg. Upon entering the room, everything was clean, but the bedding had an unpleasant smell..

Great service, everything modern and beautiful. The rooms are relatively small but perfectly adequate, with a spacious bathroom (walk-in shower). Unfortunately, the windows couldn't be opened and there was no mini-bar, but for the price, it was absolutely excellent! We'd happily come back.
