3-Star Hotels in Hamburg

The location of the room is good, but the price/performance ratio is very low. I arrived at about 11 o'clock when I checked in. I saw that the counters next to me were all checking in guests. A guy here who looked like he was Arab didn't even look at the room I booked and said that I could only check in at 3 o'clock. My mother and I had to change clothes, wash and put on makeup in the lobby bathroom. After finishing all this, it was almost 12 o'clock. I went to another old man who had been checking in to inquire. He checked me in directly, and my heart was filled with 10,000 thoughts. The old man was very patient, but the speed was too slow. It almost took more than half an hour for each guest to check in, and in the end, more than 6 euros of tax were charged. I don’t know why, but a young man came to check out. It's strange that I paid additional tax and it was refunded directly to me. All in all, I feel that the service in this hotel is messy and not very professional. The room is also very small, the facilities are average, and the price/performance ratio is very low. I will not choose it again😵💫

Just about 5 minutes walking from the Hamburg central train station to the hotel; a good thing is very convenient to travel, but a bad thing to be considered is the safe concerned because of lot of homeless people and beggars in this area.. The hotel is an old style building with renovation; the hotel staff are very nice and very helpful

Сам отель удивил спокойным чистым но ером в дополнительно зданни с балконом во внутренний двор, но в номере нет ни холодильника ни столовых принадлежностей. Есть халаты и тапочки. В общем можно рекомендовать если район устраивает (15 минут пешком до главного ЖД вокзала).

Nice hotel in the middle of the city, right next to the central station. Clean and fresh, and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here and i wouldn’t mind staying here when visitibg Hamburg again. Worth knowing, the hotel has 2 small elevators, one of which was closed for repairs causing long waiting times(especially around breakfast times) if you cant use the stairs for some reason.

The hotel is a little old. It’s located across from the train station. It is easy to walk around the city or take the trains to other nearby towns. The breakfast selection is not the best but it seems that we had no choice. The room is clean but the shower is a little old with some stains.

Hotel Hesse in Hamburg is set in a relatively quiet part of the city, which made it a comfortable base to return to after a day out. It’s not particularly central, but getting around wasn’t difficult, and the surrounding area had a calm, local feel to it. Inside, the room was functional and clean enough for a short stay. Nothing especially memorable, but everything worked as expected. It had that slightly dated charm you sometimes find in smaller city hotels, where comfort is there, just without any modern flair. What stood out most was how uncomplicated the whole stay felt. Check-in, check-out, coming and going—everything was easy and without fuss. It’s the kind of place you choose when you just need somewhere to rest, rather than somewhere to experience. Overall, Hotel Hesse was a practical and no-frills option in Hamburg. It may not leave a lasting impression, but it quietly does the job if you’re looking for a simple place to stay.

We don't know have to go to other hotel to check in and get the key. It would be great to have the information when making the booking. It's really annoying when we have late arrival and rainy day, we still need to carry our luggage to other hotel and come back. Also, they have few homeless sitting in front of the entrance. They are nice and polite but I still feel unsafe. I have paid for the Breakfast, but the reception said didn't see it in my booking. He was kind and maybe can feel that I am already exhausted and anger. He just gave me a Breakfast voucher and WiFi password. If not I think I will have a long waited until he found out the package until midnight. Breakfast have to go to the hotel which we have checked it.

Good location! There are many small supermarkets around, easy to buy! The internal floor is more complicated, the elevator is on the second floor, you need to drag your luggage to climb a flight of stairs!

Die Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte nicht und das Wasser in der Morgendusche war kalt!
