Anonymous UserCopenhagen's New Hexagonal Warrior Hotel Recommended!
I'm so incredibly happy with the hotel I booked this time!
Brand New – The Locke Copenhagen, just opened in '26.
Excellent Location – It's only a 5-minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station, about 25 minutes to the airport, and right next to Tivoli Gardens.
Firm Bed – This is so important! The beds at the airport hotel and in Faro were way too soft, and I woke up feeling sore. Finally, at Locke, I had the best sleep of the whole trip.
Great Design Aesthetic – All the furniture and furnishings have a fantastic Nordic design feel.
Well-Equipped – We booked a deluxe suite, which came with a kitchen, washing machine, and refrigerator.
Restaurant Environment Downstairs – My partner worked from the co-working space downstairs and said the seating was very comfortable. Plus, there's a famous place called Rug nearby for a delicious breakfast.
Overall, a 5-star recommendation! A big pat on the back for my excellent hotel choice!

PuerjiaqingThe room was very spacious.
Cleanliness: Excellent
Ambiance: Good
The service inside was fantastic. It's very convenient for getting to the city center, close to the port, and just a 9-minute walk from the train station. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The environment is good.

Came here based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, but I have to say it's more about looks than functionality. The design is really strong, but the actual room functionality for staying here is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers. The room is very dark, only suitable for a leisurely stay. Overall, this hotel feels like it's all style and no substance.

Guest UserThe hotel service was excellent. I believe Wakeup Copenhagen is a chain, and I highly recommend this hotel because the individual stay experience was fantastic. That's why I chose this hotel again after coming to Denmark. The location is also great, making it convenient to walk to all the major attractions.

Guest UserBreakfast was great! The staff were very friendly! The complimentary glass of wine from 5 to 6 PM is a nice bonus. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

The room was smaller than I expected. My two suitcases (one 26-inch and one 28-inch) barely fit and had to be squeezed together by the wall to open. The hotel's design is very minimalist and Nordic, but some of it prioritizes aesthetics over practicality (like the sink). However, there's a pegboard wall next to the bed, which adds some much-needed storage space. The bed is large, but I found the mattress a bit too soft and saggy.
The location is great, very close to the station, and there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Anonymous UserI was around the city for 3days of design and happy for the stay (female share room). The room is pretty clean except there was no curtain for each bed and bathroom was tiny than expected. The hostel is nearby the metro station and easy to walk down to the city center. It’s surrounded by a small lake, people used to running and jogging there a lot.
Also, You can pay 100 DKK for late check-out and stay until 1:00 PM. But no early check-in was available. Instead there’s a storage downstairs which charge me 2 hours for 25 DKK and 6 hours for 40 DKK.

I booked a room and Pon arrival he assured me it was a very small room and he could offer at a discounted rate he invented to a magnificent fantastic room. Sounded good and it turned out to be a very standard double bed in a small room with no sofa, no chair, no nothing extra. Too late now to change back as we wanted to go to bed. I wonder what the other room was like they offered on homepage.
Breakfast was charged 50 DDK extra if not reserved day before. No information on this, so just had to pay.
Coming back to room late night, no cleaning had been done. I asked and they said it must be requested day before. Information was in the elevator about this. I checked and no information in elevator. Oh, then it is in the room. I checked, no information in the room. However, on the side of the wardrobe I finally found a QR code. If you scanned it, you would get all kinds of information about the hotel and rules. Who has heard of such expectations on any guest anywhere? requesting cleaning in an international hotel??? Reception siad they missed on informing. They said it is Scandic standard and I should know, as if I am expected to be Scandic frequent guest. Rubbish! They say it is for the environment. What environmental gain you get from not making a bed was not explained.
I said I expected free breakfast for all issues. In the end, they charged me for that too. For clarity, I have traveled weekly as an international businessman for 30+ years to 123 countries. Never heard such ******** from a hotel reception.

a1jackyThis is a no-frills hotel that is good for a short stay. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance to the main station for metros and trains.
The room was very big and we could lay out both of our large suitcases with ease. The neighbourhood is lively but the room was insulated from the hustle and bustle from the streets and we had a good sleep during our stay.

Guest UserI stayed here for 5 nights. First, I want to say that the staff were always kind, friendly, and helpful. When I explained my situation to the receptionist, she was very understanding and kindly moved me to a female-only room, which I truly appreciated.
However, I would strongly advise women to think carefully before booking a mixed dorm room. During my first 4 nights in a mixed room, I barely slept at all. Several of the men snored loudly throughout the night, sometimes at the same time. One guest had an alarm going off around 3 a.m. every night to pray, and another guest was constantly coughing. After arriving in Denmark following two days of travel, the lack of sleep became overwhelming.
The situation became so exhausting that one morning I gave up trying to sleep and went to the reception area at 5 a.m. just to rest somewhere quieter. It seriously affected my first days in the country and made my arrival much more stressful than it should have been.
Once I was moved to a women’s room, I was finally able to get proper rest. For that, I am very grateful to the staff.
The employees deserve praise for their kindness and professionalism, but based on my experience, I would never choose a mixed dorm room again.
