Great
LleonconnieThe room was incredibly spacious, with a separate living room. I'd definitely want to stay here long-term if I visit Scotland again. The room was very quiet, and the living room sofa converts into a bed. All the appliances were high-end brands like Dyson and Smeg. The only downside was the lack of on-site parking. There's an NCP car park under the bridge a bit further down, costing around £25 per night. The hotel is very close to the castle, about a 5-minute walk, and about 10 minutes from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserWe always try and book this hotel the day before we fly away on holidays. It's so convenient walking the 10mins to the airport. We hav6a relaxing evening with something to eat and drink before heading up to our comfortable room, as we are always up early for our early flight. Nice to have a quick breakfast as well. Although the hot breakfast doesn't start until 6am.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time bringing my mom back to Edinburgh since graduation, and this hotel was always on my wish list when I was a student. The room offered a view of Calton Hill, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. It would have been even better if the room was on a higher floor. Plus, the haggis at the hotel breakfast was delicious, even better than the one at Haggis Box!

GGuest UserWhen we arrived our room was ready an hour early which was a good start and it only got better. The staff where all very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast had a great selection and was kept well filled, the swimming pool although not huge was never busy but it was January and it pleasantly warm. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location only 15 mins walk from Princess street and about 10mins from Edinburgh Castle. We had a lovely stay and would stay there again.

LLesley QianWe had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay.
We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort!
The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️
(The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

GGuest UserLocation: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there.
Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better.
Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written ”no show”. Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible ”no show”. It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star.
Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks.

Stayed at Stewart by Heeton Concept for 2 days and I would absolutely love to come back in the future!
The apartment was spotless — no dust, no bed bugs, fresh clean bedsheets, and a tidy washroom. Everything was well-maintained and made for a really comfortable stay. It truly felt like a great place to relax and unwind.
The only two things I’d mention as areas for improvement: the check-out time of 10:30 AM felt a little early, and a few basic toiletry amenities like toothpaste, a toothbrush, and slippers were missing. Everything else was provided and well-stocked.
Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Will definitely be returning! 😊

LLIZ LEUNG LUMSDENthe hotel is centrally located and walkable to all major site, it is attached to the only shopping mall in downtown so it is really convenient. the architectural design of the hotel is unique and stands out amongst historical buildings around, and very photogenic. However I have stayed in many W hotels around the world and I found this one interior qualities not up to par with the others, the decor and material of my room is cheap and not special, the toilet is so small and cramp, the vanity and sink is around 60cm and single sink, very tight to even get dry and undress. the room is dark with very small window, i think i stay in the back wing. Though the beds as usual are very comfortable. the hotel doesnt have much amenities there is no pool, entry lobby is very small [relatively], only one restaurant double as breakfast cafe and at night a japanese chain restaurant. two things also stands out. i do not recalled the last time i go in the hotel and there is a long line for check in which happens this time, there were at least 3 ppl in front and after me. and it takes a bit of time although the staff were very kind. also lines both nights when going to the bar, huge line on saturday, at least 12 ppl jammed in the lift lobby. I also noticed that there are not any native english speaking staff, not at the check in, nor maitre d at the bar nor the room service phone reception. we had a good stay but def a few things that stood out.

WwlshsyThis hotel is really convenient for transport. It's close to the airport, and right next to the train station, from which it's only a 12-minute direct ride to the city center. It's just as good as those hotels in the city that cost over a thousand [currency unit] a night! Plus, there's a super big supermarket next door, which is perfect for picking up souvenirs. Just a heads-up: the hotel's standard is to clean every three days, so if you prefer daily cleaning, remember to arrange it when you check in!
GGuest UserThe room was much better than expected, clean and comfortable. Self-service check-in and check-out were quick and convenient. If you don't know how to use it, you can call and ask for patient guidance. If you don't know how to use the access control, you can ask the staff. The location is far from the city center and various attractions, about 30 minutes walk, but you can take the bus.
In summary, it is still a good choice. After all, hotels in Edinburgh are crazy expensive. I will stay in this hotel again.
