This was in the perfect location, staff were great and room facilities were fab!. I didn’t realise the hall light had a sensor and no off switch, so when I had the bedroom door open and turned over in bed, the light would come back on 😂 easily fixed by closing the door. It didn’t affect our stay and we would definitely be back…it’s a busy place, it’s in the city centre so to be expected. Yes there was a charge for parking but not overbearing. Only negative was that the curtains didn’t fit the full windows so light shining in made it difficult to sleep, bed was so comfy though 😴

This is a very good chain hotel. We had a two-room suite, which was very spacious, clean, and quite modern. Unfortunately, our check-in was delayed by an hour, but they offered us complimentary cookies. The room had an unlimited mini-bar, which was a nice bonus. There was both a shower and a bathtub, but specifically, the bathtub had no hot water. The front desk responded very quickly, called a plumber, and everything was fixed within half an hour. The location near the train station was perfect for our needs, and we had a good view of the city from our high-floor room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, as it was quite sparse (lacking fish, waffles/pancakes, and more variety of vegetables and cold cuts). Otherwise, we liked everything; the front desk staff were friendly, but the restaurant staff at breakfast seemed tired. We also had dinner at the restaurant one evening and highly recommend the steaks; the dishes were amazing!

Well I have stayed in this hotel twice before and cant help but say it has lost its shine. Check in was fine. We booked a premium room with club lounge. The lounge was great. Nan who was working there absolutely loved his job and was great. He served us with drinks from 6 till 8 he told us it was party time. Had a great laugh. The room was a nice size comfy bed. Had a very stale aroma although appeared clean. I found I think the bathroom was the source of the smell. The water pressure was very low so the shower was disappointing. We slept well and headed out and down for breakfast. Dirty dishes and glasses littered the corridor at night time and still there in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Good quality bacon and sausage choice of eggs cooked freshly for you and omelettes everything you would need was there. Did what we need.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight from Manchester, and it was such a pleasant surprise! We arrived during a heatwave in the UK, stepping out of a stuffy, non-air-conditioned car feeling like we'd been in a sauna, into a wonderfully cool and air-conditioned hotel room. It was incredibly comfortable!

no parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement. They do provide you with a discount voucher at nearby public carparks. Rooms are clean but the decorating is a patch up job throughout. The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead. Television sets have either the option for TV channels or to connect to your phone: bad aerial prevented viewing most channels and TV only connected to the staff's androids and not to our iphones. There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home. Staff is courteous and the breakfast is way and beyond satisfactory. The majestic hall from their photos was nowhere to be seen. Would go again if no other options shall be available at the time.

I needed to stay at the airport for an early flight. It was directly across from the terminal I needed and the price was great. I didn’t eat there as my flight was very early and I arrived late. The room was really nice and the bathroom was clean and modern

The room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

Check in was dreadful! On arrival 2 members of staff behind the reception desk were staring at a screen, I assumed they were dealing with 2 ladies standing slightly to one side, but when i managed to catch one of them's eye, he asked if he could help & seemed surprised that I was waiting to check in! I ushered forward the lady waiting in front of me. When my turn arrived I gave my name and that I had a room for 2 adults & a toddler & had requested a travel cot. I had no phone signal in the hotel so could not bring up my booking. He requested that I go outside to get signal which I did. On finding my online booking confirmation I went back inside & gave him the booking reference number to which he snappily told me it was wrong. I showed him. He asked me to write down my full name on a slip of paper the he proceeded to print off details of my booking thrust it at me & asked if that was me! He insisted that I had made a booking for 2 adults & 2 children. I read the booking details directly from my phone - 2 adults, one 2 year old, travel cot required. Eventually we were allocated our room & given the key. This whole process took 25 minutes, which also then put our restaurant reservation back. Not great with a tired & hungry 2 year old! (When we did get into our room, there was no travel cot. this was supplied later.) On a positive note, a member of staff who seemed to have some supervisory/managerial capacity did apologise and gave me free parking for the night. Other than this dreadful start, all was OK, just what one would expect from a premier inn.

My man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom  As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner, So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
