We thought we'd stop by a hot spring on our way back from visiting our children (Ofunato City), so we stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, and were very grateful for our hospitality. The food was delicious and we were very impressed. The tatami mats were nice and clean, but if they could have done a little more to fix the cracks in the bathroom, I think the service would have been more comprehensive. It's close to the station and tourist attractions, so we usually use the car, but we didn't feel inconvenienced by the train. Although we had a great time, as hot spring lovers, we were really disappointed that there was no open-air bath. While sightseeing, we were worried about other hotels, wondering if this hotel had an open-air bath. I'm sorry. The quality of the food and hot springs was impeccable, so if they could have posted online that the open-air bath was unavailable but offered these services, we would have enjoyed it even more.
