Chose this stay as it provided breakfast buffet and we wanted to try how it works in Thailand. The stay was just by the lake side, and the environment was calming too. The classic room gives an antique vibe which is super cool, was clean, well equipped, and even had a bathtub inside. The breakfast buffet wasn’t a grand one as in a hotel, but it was prepared in adequate amount and they all tasted good, we had the chance to try Thai prawn porridge and pineapple fried rice on two different days. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. Definitely a good choice if you’re travelling to Songkhla too !

Lung Tsang
The hotel is located in walking distance from Songkhla old town/night market, and refurbished out of an ancient if not heritage building. It showcases the beauty of Thai Chinese interior design: every single display item brings back lots of nostalgia from the good old rosy days. The only drawback is the sound insulation as I could hear the convo from my fellow visitors next doors during my stay and also the sounds from outside (cat meows and roosters singing). Luckily i had my ear plugs so still managed to sleep. It seems the rooms on ground floor are nicer than those at second floor.

Service: If there are still rooms, travelers can check in early
Facilities: There is a bed, refrigerator, air conditioner, and three plugs, but it is far from the bed and inconvenient
Everything is new
But the location is remote and there is nothing to eat nearby

Guest UserThe resort was very serene and had a good relaxing time in the midst of nature. Walking distance from private beach but the path is not well maintained. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was quite sad, not many choices. Better to have own transportation since the resort is slightly isolated.

The room is clean.
The TV doesn't turn on. The toilet seat is not very good. It's old and looks like it has mold. But... they tried to clean it.
When I read the details, it seemed like there were amenities such as a hair dryer. But... there wasn't.
The location is good, close to the city.

The hotel still holds onto its charming early 1990s vibe, though some of the furniture and amenities feel a bit dated. On the bright side, the cleanliness is impressive, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which might just be a reflection of Thai hospitality. Additionally, its location near the beach, to the famous mermaid statue, is a delightful bonus. This is my first visit to Songkhla City, and I’m truly amazed by the peaceful atmosphere and the community's dedication to health and cleanliness. I absolutely love it!

Jern ChristopoulosGreat for families, perfectly meets the needs of family groups. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. It would be even better if the staff were more cheerful and greeted guests. Overall, it's good. If the housekeepers and staff smiled and greeted guests, your hotel would win over even more customers.

Very friendly front desk service. I arrived much earlier and thought I would have to wait before checking in, but the hotel quickly prepared a room for me. The bathroom was separate and spacious. Although it's not very close to the beach, it's easy to get there in a straight line. There are many local restaurants nearby.

Overall, it was okay, but the room didn't have bedside outlets. The hotel provided an extension cord, but personally, I felt the cord was too old and unsafe to use, so I didn't. Another thing was the mirror; it wouldn't close, maybe it was broken or I just didn't have the strength. When taking the elevator down, it got stuck for a moment before working again. I was really scared then, and it was my first time experiencing something like that, haha! The staff provided good service, and there was always a security guard present.

Sarah HijjahI had a pleasant stay at V Hotel Vajira with my friends. The hotel has an authentic atmosphere, and although there is no lift, accessing the second floor was safe and not too tiring. The room was comfortable overall, but I would suggest updating the bed, as it felt a bit old and slightly loose during my stay.
