You can take a bus to the West Slope Transportation Center. We didn't see Tianchi Lake because of the weather, but there are Songjianghe Forest Park and Dahuangnihe Wetland Park in the town where you can stroll around.

I forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty. The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda. The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

The first time I came to Changbai Mountain for a trip, I was lucky to choose Dongsheng Hailan Hotel. The whole journey experience was directly full! The boss is super enthusiastic and real. When we first arrived, we carefully explained the route of Changbai Mountain to us. We reminded us to see the weather in Tianchi, go up the mountain to wear and avoid pits. Thanks to the boss's strategy, we successfully climbed to the top and saw the beautiful panoramic view of Tianchi. Luck is bursting! The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to Songjianghe High-speed Railway Station and the West Scenic Area, and it is especially convenient to travel by car. The room was cleaned clean, hot water was sufficient, the facilities were complete, and the living was practical and comfortable. If you have any questions throughout the whole process, the boss will be patient to help, the price is super high, friends who come to Changbai Mountain want to worry about playing strongly recommend this! I booked this hotel for my trip to Changbai Mountain, and the front desk staff were nice. The Changbai Mountain West Railway Station offers a shuttle service to and from the hotel, which is very convenient. The heating was good; it wasn't cold at all. The hot water and shower were comfortable, and the towels were fairly clean. The hotel TV can be projected, which is great. I ordered takeout to watch TV since I didn't get to visit Tianchi Lake. The hotel is quite close to the West Slope and the Forest Park; a taxi ride only costs the starting fare, haha. The only fatal flaw was the incredibly basic breakfast. The menu was as follows: four kinds of pickled vegetables, two kinds of steamed buns, one kind of steamed bread, a serving of millet porridge, and a boiled egg. It was stated that breakfast was from 7:30 to 9:00 AM. On the first morning, I arrived around 8:00 AM, and the restaurant was already dark and empty. On the second day, I arrived close to 8:00 AM and finally saw the breakfast I just described—a truly pitiful breakfast. There were only three meat buns left, and they wouldn't restock. If it weren't for this breakfast, I might have given it a five-star review, but this stingy breakfast completely lowered the hotel's overall quality. If you don't want to pay for breakfast, just cancel it; there's no need to go through all this trouble.

I stayed in a family room with two large, two small and four people and three beds. It was not crowded at all. The room was not big and well-equipped. The boss was super nice and they also provided meals downstairs. It was very convenient. I will stay here again when I go to Changbai Mountain. The price/performance ratio is very high. This hotel is the best in the same price range. It is selected for self-driving to Nanpo. The room is spacious, hygienic, and comfortable. Beijing-Hulunbuir-Changbai Mountain is self-driving. This real evaluation is good. Tianchi is closed and will go again!

The room size is okay, the location is good, the decoration is a bit old, the price is very good for the Golden Week, and it also includes breakfast. Overall it is a very cost-effective choice. It is very close to Xipo and Wanda, and you can drive to Beipo The road around the mountain is particularly beautiful in autumn, and it is not far from Luneng. The Manjiang Grand Canyon is particularly spectacular. Changbai Mountain in autumn is full of oil painting-like scenery! Sanjianghui Scenic Area is also good. I stayed at Songjiang River for four full days. Although I didn’t get the tickets for Changbai Mountain, I had a lot of fun every day!

I really liked the large heated bed. The train station is across the street. The hostess was very friendly. She told me right away how to buy a ticket to the volcano. You can take a taxi to the bus stop to Valkan. The city itself is not touristy at all, nothing to see. She offered me a bottle of water, saying it was from the volcano. A towel, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and a toothbrush are provided. I liked it.

This was my first time visiting Changbai Mountain, and we chose to stay in these cabins for our first night. The weather has been warm these past few days, and it's a bit remote here, so the snow is pristine. It was my child's first time seeing so much snow, and they could play right outside the cabin door while the adults relaxed inside. If you like peace and quiet and getting away from it all, you might enjoy this. There are also some small attractions nearby to explore, and the little dogs and cats add a charming, rustic touch. Afterwards, we went skiing at the Luneng Resort Hotel, but the snow play there wasn't as clean as it was here. Of course, the accommodation isn't as luxurious as a resort hotel, so if you're particularly picky, this might not be for you. It really depends on what you prioritize; this place is all about the ambiance. For dining, there's only one iron pot stew restaurant right outside, which is decent. If you're staying for multiple nights, you won't have much variety for food. Overall, I'd say it's a good idea to combine a stay here with a resort hotel to experience different vibes. My child really loved it.
