Was a good hotel came in and the room had hair in it and the sheets were unclean requested for a cleaner or a new room and had to wait the night and then was expecting to have a cleaner come in while I was out and still wasn’t cleaned and went down to reception 3 times just to get the room clean. Other than that nice place and good location

supper big and good with delicious breakfast and kind staff, they can call the taxi for you and there is a bus stop right at the gate of the hotel, it’s really convenient. We really had a good time at the hotel and it’s near the airport only cost 7mins so we can save time there.

I pick my holiday based on reviews - I’ve been honest and as balanced as possible- as I know these reviews have a big impact. I’ve written as a Pro and Con list. The PROs far outweigh the CONs PRO- very short ride from airport PRO - quiet accommodation with very few other people especially as start of season . PRO- Floor 7 - a really really lovely view to pool & beach PRO - cleaning ladies very very friendly and always spoke to my young child. PRO - room was cleaned and tidied nicely everyday with fresh towels. There is also an option “do not disturb “ if required. PRO - the food ! It’s always a risk with all inclusive! Great food fresh and tasty (I’m veggie ). Breakfast (8-11) great choices each day -cereals with various milks including oat milk. Seeded buns, & baguette Bread & sliced bread with self use toaster, lovely soft breads/ pain au chocolate/ pain au raisin/ chocolate chip cookie, cakes, donuts , pancakes, with Nutella. Various jams and yoghurts & honey. It was all laid out buffet style - with show case cooking. Boiled eggs / scrambled eggs/ fried eggs/ mushrooms/ sausages. Fruit (melon/kiwi/strawberries in sauce. Lots of choice! Can’t fault the food in any way. Lunch (12-1pm) was pasta/chips (very nice ) chicken burger / lots of fish/veg lasagne/beef tomatoes, olives, white onion, salads. Ice cream/ churros with chocolate / small pots of set vanilla yoghurt with fruit sauce top (all very nice). Dinner (6.30-9) breads/pastas/chips/roasted veg/ mushroom/roasted veg/ layered /boiled/chipped potatoes/ fish & salad - always fresh cooked pasta with various sauces (cheese/tomato/bolognaise) chicken /fish/ Everything was fresh and cooked before us. Waiters attentive clearing plates and glasses swiftly. Bedroom - 2 adults & 1 child The double bed and single bed were about 1 foot between so we easily pushed them together happily. Had a small fridge. We also had a small wall mounted tv (not working) reported this on the first day but it wasn’t fixed , wish didn’t bother us. The balcony with really such lovely views- and a table with 2 chairs. Outstanding to watch sunsets. You also have small fridge. . The beach is very short walk with decent and affordable places to eat and lots of supermarkets nearby. You can hear bars playing music at night but it’s not intrusive and stops before midnight. There is a sight seeing train which goes up and down the sea side. Everything is kept clean and working 2 lifts service the 8 floors easily. Reception is always manned speaking Spainish/ German and a little English. They have a small selection of crisps /chocolate & sweets & a whole fridge of soft & alcoholic drinks to purchase (cash only). CONs unfortunately not allowed room for 2h after arrival (we had been up all night & had a young child). We could see the pool being cleaned & the banisters drilled and lots of workmen around. We went to pool side which looked nice but told we could not use the pool for another day at-least - a

NOT BAD HOTEL, RIGHT IN THE MOVIDA AREA. IT DOES NOT HAVE SPACE TO SIT OUT AND BE OUTSIDE FOR A LITTLE BIT. IN THE POOL AREA THERE ARE SOFAS AND ARMCHAIRS, BUT INEXPLAINABLELY THEY CLOSE EVERYTHING IN THE EVENING. THEY ASK FOR 100 EUROS DEPOSIT PER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGE. IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. IT'S NOT A 4 STAR. BREAKFAST AND DINNER GOOD BUT LITTLE VARIETY. CHARGING FOR WATER AT DINNER I FIND UNADEQUATE FOR A 4 STAR. CLEANLINESS IN THE ROOM GOOD. STAFF SOME KIND, OTHERS LESS. PRACTICALLY MORE A 3 STARS THAT 4.

A good four stars. Hotel close to the airport (taxi 14 euros, no ubers in Mallorca). I was lucky enough to have a terrace room (first floor room) where you walk from your balcony directly onto the terrace overlooking the pool. I reckon these rooms are best unless you're obsessed with a sea view in which case go above 5th floor. Hotel breakfast is good- lots of choice. Also an inexpensive cafe / bar on poolside with very friendly staff. The hotel was peaceful when we were there- slept well and beds pretty comfortable. Very very close to the beach- 3 mins walk - and then you're on the beachfront which has an almost unlimited abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars. One cautionary note about the restaurants nearby - be careful with the reviews many look to be inflated / fake so choose carefully. Lots of mini-supermarkets - the best within 5 mins walk is carrefour express.

Check in was fast and simple. The front desk spoke wonderful English and she was very warm and welcoming. The lady after her was less friendly but still answered my questions promptly. The location is amazing, just 150 steps to the gorgeous white sand beach. The room itself was spacious, tons of closet space, very clean, and had an excellent view of the ocean. The only negative thing I have to say is that my body wash was out even after two days of them cleaning my room, but it's not important enough to complain about. The walk in shower is heavenly. I love this hotel and will definitely return.

We are currently in the Amfora Beach. Staying here for 10 nights. Booked three rooms. Since we checked in on Saturday in our room we have slept with thick black mould and spores on the partition wall between the bathroom and the bedroom. We have reported this and it was partly wiped off but still several spores and black visible. We reported it again today and explained the cause is due to the bathroom door not closing. We were promised a ”technician” would look at it. We explained myself and my partner suffer asthma and emphysema and this is detrimental to our health. We ard both now wheezing. We returned this evening to find nothing has been done. On asking again at reception thd technician was unavailable and it might be done tomorrow. Explaining again the risk to our breathing, my partner was met with ”si, si”.. It seems the only way we may get a response is through this forum as clearly the reception team do not realise the seriousnes of the situation. We have paid a considerable sum for three very small rooms that do not appear to merit the 4 star tag and the least we would expect t is they would be clean and safe.

Our expectations were met. Super nice staff. Wifi surprisingly also very good. The food was delicious. Fish and the like was freshly fried for one. We were very satisfied and would like to come again. If you want to go to the Ballermann and want to party, I don't recommend the hotel. It's an hour's walk to get there, which is very long. I posted a few examples: the view from a courtyard view, example food (what we got/prepared) some of it is dinner, others from breakfast. I also took a picture of the aisle with me. On a picture you can also see where you could get something to eat, among other things, but there were other options.

I genuinely can't understand what we were charged 560 EUR per night for. To start, we arrived at 8 a.m. and were told there were no available rooms. I understand that check-in officially begins at 3 p.m., but I've traveled extensively and stayed at various hotels worldwide where I was able to check in earlier. I'm not sure what determines this policy. Eventually, we were given a room around noon, though it was a different room type. Since we had traveled all night, we accepted this. Secondly, the breakfast... I’ve stayed at many 4- and 5-star hotels, and this was certainly not a 5-star breakfast. It wasn’t that much about the limited selection, but the quality. Everything tasted bland. From the oily scrambled eggs, oily omelet to the bruschettas drenched in oil, nothing was flavorful. It felt as though the hotel was cutting costs by serving basic buffet items like sliced carrots and beetroot, carrot cake, and inedible pastries. We came to celebrate my birthday. My husband asked the hotel manager for assistance in arranging a birthday surprise for me, such as flowers or a small cake (which he was, of course, willing to pay for). The reception mentioned that flowers will be problematic, but assured him they would come up with something. The next morning, nothing happened at breakfast, and nothing was delivered to our room throughout the day. It wasn’t until after we returned from dinner in the city that my husband briefly mentioned his disappointment to a staff member. Only then did they bring a cake from the kitchen, with the excuse that they had planned to deliver it late in the evening. But who eats cake at 11 p.m.? The room was stylish and nice, but the shower door design was poor, causing water to flood the dressing area each time we used it. The beach at the hotel is small and public. While the view is pleasant, there’s no privacy. I believe this is common for beaches in Mallorca. The pool would have been a good alternative, but the water was freezing throughout our stay, and we didn’t swim there once. The hotel claims it’s about 400 meters from the marina. However, this is only true if you take a narrow, dangerous path behind the hotel, along the edge of a cliff, and then another cliff and beach. The views are great, but the route is neither safe nor convenient. The other way is a 1.5 km walk up and down the streets. Taking a taxi is a better option. On our last evening, we asked for a packed breakfast since we were leaving early, before breakfast hours. Instead, food was delivered via room service but left outside in the hallway because we had a ”do not disturb” sign on. No one notified us, and we only discovered it as we were leaving. Had we known they would deliver the food to the room, or that room service was available before 8 a.m., I would have ordered a proper breakfast, not just apples and juice meant to take away.
