Pordenone Hotels with Free Breakfast

Overdue for sharing my thoughts on my October 2021 stay at the Palace Hotel Moderno. The service by all the staff, reception, room service and during breakfast were all friendly & top notch. My room was clean, well appointed and had everything I needed (next visit I will ask for extra pillows). My room was on the side of the building closest to the Posta, a busy local watering hole and the crowd noise was not a problem. Local bakeries and Coop grocery close by to ensure I could stock the mini fridge with aqua frizante and snacks for late night. WiFi was fine, suited my needs perfectly. Looking very much forward to my return visit this October.

The hotel staff was as friendly, helpful and professional as I've ever seen. The hotel was impeccably clean, the rooms were beautiful and very modern and the location was superb - lots of good restaurants within walking distance and a five minute walk from the train station. Also, I couldn't believe how quiet it was. I was never once disturbed by noise from other hotel guests, or anyone else, for that matter.

I was booked into this hotel by a friend she said it was nice and close to her. I must admit l was apprehensive as it was a 3 Star hotel. This was all worry for nothing from the smiling face at check to getting to my room on the 5th floor. The room was large and breezy I was immediately impressed. The decor was pleasant and very appealing the wardrobe was big with a safe within and you could lock the wardrobe if you so wished. There was a mini fridge which was great as l had to store som medication. There was a place for my suitcase and a table below the bed. I was a bit concerned about the tv not being in English so l downloaded loads of stuff. This was not needed as the TV was a smart Tv and l was able to program a few station into English or Italian with English subtitles. There were a host of other languages to. The bathroom was a dream clean and sparkling with a fantastic shower. The was huge and comfortable and l slept well each night. Breakfast l missed it the first day as l woke up late this was possibly due to the comfortable bed. However l got a wake up call for the next morning. I was surprised at the quality and amount of food available. There was something for everyone there was some hot items also. The pancake machine was fab l was like a child making the pancakes. There were loads of meats and various cereals. Would l stay here again a big yes it was more than l could hope for. I didn’t get to use the gym but it was a nice gym. Don’t let the 3 star worry by my books it definitely deserves at a minimum 4 Stars.

Not bad, such a remote town

The rooms are spacious and the facilities are good. The location is in the central square of the town of Pordenone. It is only on the commercial street. Although it is small, it also has to go shopping. The breakfast is not rich enough.

Just 5 minutes' drive from Pordenone centre, Hotel Naonis offers simple rooms with satellite TV. On-site parking is free and there are a few bikes available for free hire. Facilities at the hotel include a 24-hour front desk and a small bar-lounge area. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The Naonis is 3 km from Pordenone Train Station and buses to the station stop in front of the hotel. A number of ski areas, including Val Colvera and Val Tramontina are around 45 minutes’ drive away.
