Chic & Basic Gravity

Our family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappointment was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Very good service

I stayed in beginning of March, had a very clean and spacious room. There was drinkable water and coffee machine was available. The lobby has always a staff member available and very well located. Had good time and i think it was really good in general in terms of of value for money.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute..This is an excellent hotel with an amazing and exceptional young staff. Our room was nice and clean, the restaurant was our favorite in Porto…I think we tried everything on the menu. HOWEVER, IT’S THE SMILING FACES AND HOW THIS STAFF REPRESENTS PORTUGAL THAT IMPRESSED US THE MOST. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU! The Barbara’s 🩷

A brilliant funky quirky place to stay. It's a great base to go and explore. Lot's of restaurants and cafés close by. Breakfast was very good, bucks fizz available. Hotel lovely and clean, rooms very comfortable and the outside space was lovely to sit and relax in the sun. Love the upside down swimming pool etc. The staff were amazing, very helpful friendly and efficient. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely go back. The free tote bag was a lovely touch and the welcome drink of a glass of Port was lovely
