Best Western Hotel Tre Torri

We are travelling with a group of 14 Singaporeans on a pilgrimage of the Holy sites. This is our last stay for one nite in a hotel before embarking on our flite home. Stayed at the Best Western Hotel Tre Torri on 14th Oct 2023. Hotel is located within a small village or town off the main highway. This hotel is our half way stop to Milan after spending a day in Venice. We found that a kettle was provided but no complimentary bottles of water. It could be found in the mini bar, but chargeable. Lighting in the room was dim with only one wall light. Bedside lights did little to enhance the overall environment. Sensors are used for the vestibule of the room and bathroom. Experienced black outs in the bathroom several times. What an inconvenience. The shower stall is small and after a shower, water escaped to the outer floor, making it slippery and dangerous. Bathroom amenities was limited to just a small bar of soap and two shower caps. Only shower gel was provided in the shower stall. Otherwise, the room and bathroom was clean. Can't say much for the pillows and mattress. Just uncomfortable. Breakfast items offered is typical of all the hotels we stayed in except at this hotel where back bacon was offered on the buffet, instead of bacon rashers. The scrambled eggs was the best in all the hotels we stayed in. What made the breakfast experience wonderful was delivered by a waitress, Ms MILLI, a Ghanaian. Her lovely smile, politeness and her happiness to serve made our time in Italy memorable. Thank you Ms MILLI once again. You are a great Ambassador of the brand. We love you and keep smiling as you deliver happiness to all that you serve. Love All Serve All. Your hotel should be so proud to have such an employee like you. To the management of the hotel we recommend Ms MILLII as your Employee of the Month.
Hotel Da Porto

Ah, Hotel Da Porto, where the stars in the sky seem to have fallen a bit too hard on the establishment itself. Checking into a junior suite, one might expect the lap of luxury, but instead, I found myself starring in a low-budget mystery drama featuring a bathtub with its own collection of past guest memoirs etched in soap scum. The plot thickened with a mattress that ambitiously attempted to escape its sommier confines, proving that size does matter, but not in the way one hopes in a hotel room. The broken lock on the suite door was a thrilling twist, adding a sense of adventure and uncertainty that one rarely expects from a 4-star hotel. It's always exciting to wonder if you'll be sharing your room with unexpected guests or if your belongings will be part of a spontaneous giveaway. However, amidst the chaos, the staff shone like diamonds in the rough. Their amiability was the saving grace of this peculiar escapade. Despite a mix-up by our travel agency, they managed to find us a room, proving that not all heroes wear capes; some just wield room keys and apologies. In conclusion, Hotel Da Porto offers a memorable stay, but perhaps not for the reasons you'd expect. It's a blend of unintended comedy and sincere service that earns it a solid 2 out of 5 stars.
Hotel & Residence Castelli

We only slept one night here for transit, but it was terrible. Although they are,or claim to be,a 4 star hotel, the hotel looks like a motel in most rooms. I am aware they are undergoing renovations and that some rooms look decent, but I am here to tell my experience. We arrived at around 8 PM and everything looked good. The reception is renovated, the lobby, bar and outside area are very nice. However, everything changed when we got to our rooms. It was a very old room that looked like it hadn’t received cleaning or renovations in more than 20 years. Next to my sisters pillow there were cut wires that seemed(and probably were very dangerous). On the same note,we went to the other rooms of the people in our group and in some of the rooms there were electrical panels taped with scotch(next to the pillow). Furthermore, there were a few groups of drunken men that were looking quite weird at us only to hear from our friends that they woke up at around 11 PM with loud and frenetical knocking on their doors, due to which fact they had to change their rooms, because they were feeling unsafe. I am not a fan of writing such reviews because I believe everyone deserves a second chance but this hotel is in dire need of renovations and a better staff management. I am writing this because I want to raise awareness to the people that run this hotel so that other people will not have to go through what we did. This review has not been written with any malicious intention but only with the wish that this is taken into consideration and changed if they want to keep their “four stars”.
Hotel Victoria

I stayed at Hotel Victoria on my way out of Vicenza for 5 nights in November 2021. What an impressive hotel! Plenty of free parking on arrival, the lobby was large, super clean, and modern with plenty of seating. I booked a single room but was pleasantly surprised at how large the bed and room were. The bathroom was spotless and spacious. Given all of this information, the part I was most appreciative of was the staff. From the moment I checked in they were polite, attentive, and helpful. I was assisted several times over the 5 days, using their front desk printing services, borrowing the desk clerk for translation assistance, and grabbing a drink at the bar where the reception staff doubled as the bartender! Their breakfast was phenomenal! It was very extensive inclusive of hot and cold menu items, fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, meats and all the Italian coffee you want and the breakfast staff was EXCELLENT! When I arrived in Vicenza, I stayed at another local hotel that was so awful I left after 2 days, I wish I would have known about this hotel!! Overall, my stay was outstanding, and I would highly recommend this hotel to ANYONE coming into Vicenza. It’s about a 6-minute drive to Caserma Ederle and MUCH better than other hotels that may closer. I would give them 10-stars if I could; exceptional hotel!
