Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa

We are a family of 4, two young kids and I felt compelled to write a review of how great of a time we had at this hotel. Especially if you are a young family this hotel is brilliant for kids. My daughter and son tried out the kids club that runs twice a day with face painting/activities and they asked every day if they could attend. On that note, I must give a shout out to the kids club/mini disco staff that ran it who was Mel, Andrea and Sandra, they were so genuinely sweet and encouraging to the kids and getting them all involved and truly seemed like they enjoyed what they did, if you have kids then you know that if your kids are having a good time — you are having a good time. At 8pm they had the kids disco and even myself was up and participating at some points. Food in the hotel was pretty good but if you wanted to venture out for lunch or dinner here and there you can find good restaurants about a 5-10 minute walk away. Also a huge plus was the beach is right outside the back of the hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. hotel is spotless, never once walked into a restroom and thought it needed cleaning. All in all we decided we would return to this hotel.

I have visited the Hotel Beatriz Spa a number of times over the years, this year I made a mistake with my bookings but Cathy was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to look after me. She was so professional and extremely helpful. I had the most amazing massage with Cathy, I floated home. I would highly recommend booking in for a massage with her. The thermal pool is lovely too. You can use before or after your treatments for a full relaxing experience. The spa itself it well kept and spotless!

Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic. Hotel is amazing and Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Food is excellent and lots of choice and the drinks are also amazing. We went All Inclusive and it is brilliant. A big Thank You to the lovely Friendly Staff at the Hotel who made our Holiday Fantastic. We stayed here as a family of four. We stayed in room 3406 room was spacious. The main bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all but done the job! The pool area was ok two big pools and the baby one which was heated. We never went down early to reserve beds but always found two together at the baby pool. The life guard wouldn't let us bring in our float as it was to big he told me to go to the hotel shop to buy one!! The men that takes photographs at the pool do a great job We got lovely photos of them which you can purchase that same evening opposite the arcade in the hotel. The entertainment in the evening my kids didn't enjoy so we didn't stay they found it to noisy. The bar que was always long. The breakfast was ok we had pancakes and toast and fruit most morning's as we are picky eaters. Evening meal was just ok food very repetitive and by the end of our trip we were fed up with it. We got pork chops chicken that wasn't fully cooked! Kids mostly had a slice of pizza and staight to the ice cream. The lifts will literally close on you. We did encounter one problem on the first proper day I put my child into the bath and shortly after that the tiles did come off in the bathroom. After sorting the child out went to reception to tell them what happened they sent a maintance man up to our room. He wanted us to move rooms i had just unpacked so was reculent to pack all up and move and our room was nice. Receptionist didn't apologise at the start so we spoke to a manager and she did sort us out and we where fit to stay in the same room and the tiles were gonna be replaced. This happend all on our first day so wasn't a great start to the holiday! But overall we would come back as we really enjoyed our stay.

Having read reviews before I came I knew this hotel is not really 4 star and so my expectations weren’t too high. It’s a very dated hotel, and my room was pretty tired/old fashioned / a bit musty. Not enough plug sockets either. Air con not great. Large though and the balcony was nice. I did have a room tucked away facing the sea in the corner and it was very quiet which was good. Plane noise didn’t bother me. Overall it was ok for a few days. The location is really good. I didn’t bother eating the food as there are some really nice places to eat a few mins walk away. Probably wouldn’t go there again, but was ok.
