Good location ! bang on where all the shops is , clean , receptionist is very friendly and helpful ,will defo back again and will stay the same Hotel

Would have been really nice if I stopped there but got cancelled last minute and left without a hotel. Had to sleep on a bench that night. Now sleep on a couch at someone’s apartment. Not a nice experience at my age being of 74 with not knowing what to do or where to turn. Still traumatised by the whole experience

Staying here just now for the 4th time and really like these apartments. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I won’t be returning again though due to one fault. Many guests are reserving sun beds from very early morning then don’t show up for hours and many are also puting one sunbed on top of another so have 2 to themselves while others cannot get one. This is such a shame as apartments are great otherwise.

These apartments deserve more than 2 star. On arrival 20.30hrs Mavis the receptionist was brilliant booking us in taking us to show the various exit entry gates and then on to our apartment. Apartments are basic but everything you need is there and they are large, cleaned every other day and bedding changed twice weekly. Very large swimming pool and a very good priced bar / restaurant we had breakfast their every day. All the staff were very good and helpfull. The management here deserve a mention it is obvious that they want you to have a good holiday and they are going to help you by not overcharging and working as a family. If I were to pick fault it would be unfare as they would be minor. It's a very well done from me.

We have been coming here 2 to times a year for the last 10 years plus and every time the staff are so welcoming they will go out of there way to assist you .We always try to get a sea view apartment(its worth the extra money) The apartments are always clean and the access to the main street is only a minute away.Thanks again for making us feel so welcome every time we come back(see you on Boxing Day) for a wonderful 17 days

Stayed here from August 29th to September 5th. We were in room 135 which had fabulous pool/Seaview. Been to Puerto del carmen many times, but these apartments are by far the best we've ever stayed in. Apartment was spotless throughout. Beds were very comfy, had extra pillows in wardrobe. Living room/kitchen had everything needed for self catering if you required. We only used it for tea/coffee,as we had breakfast in pool bar and had lunch and dinner out. Ladies in pool bar/restaurant are absolutely lovely and keep place spotless. Receptionist at check-in and checkout were very helpful and professional. We would have no hesitation recommending la penita apartments to anyone. We will most definitely be staying here again next time we're in Puerto del carmen.

Just back from la penita apartments. Had a fantastic stay with friends for my birthday. Rooms are lovely and clean very spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool bar staff are lovely and the food is really nice . Loved the breakfast wraps. Pool area nice clean. La penita is an ideal location right near the ***** . Loved the fact there was different key gates to gain access to apartments. Fresh towels every other day room cleaned every other day. First time stopping there and I will definitely recommend these apartments. Thank you to all staff and Pool bar staff for a fantastic holiday

We arrived at the apartments at around 1am and was greeted by a lady at the gate who promptly got us our key for our room. Rooms are spacious and clean. I’ve seen others mention the lack of air-con. But I honestly don’t think the apartments need it. Once you have the fan in the living room on and the ceiling fan in the bedroom, it’s sufficient enough to keep the rooms cool. We had paid extra for sea view and was a little disappointed to find our room backed onto a street with a partial sea view in between the restaurants. Cleaners did a good job of keeping our apartment clean and bedding/ towels were changed every two days. The grounds, pool area was kept clean and tidy. The bar staff are an absolute credit to this hotel. They were so warm and friendly. The food and drinks at the snack bar was reasonable priced and good. One of the greatest experiences we had was feeding the little parakeets who visited our balcony most evenings. I have to say this was the highlight of our holiday. The location of this hotel is spot on. You are literally on the door stop of plenty of bars and restaurants. Two very slight negatives that I noticed with this hotel. The beds were massively uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a bench and we got very little sleep because of it whilst we were there. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I’ve had to sleep on whilst away. I also noticed and complained about people reserving loungers. Not only that, but a few selfish people were doubling up their loungers and nothing was done about it. I complained twice on one occasion. A guy did help find me a lounger. However, nothing was done about those reserving or doubling up on loungers. In all honesty, this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who’s considering staying here.
