The service of the hotel is considerate, the environment is hygienic and tidy, the lady at the front desk has a warm service attitude, and the cleaning lady is also very enthusiastic, and can really help if needed. Due to the need for exams, there are no electronic devices in the house. The lady at the front desk even arranged for staff to remove the TV for us. Thank you very much. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the service and environment here.

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

The hotel is very conveniently located to the beach and still close the city. Lao Long Tou was a 30 minute taxi ride. Whilst the restaurant is tasty, it caters for Chinese and western cuisine is limited. Not a problem if you enjoy Chinese cuisine :)

I didn't find the hotel yesterday, so I called the front desk lady to ask for the address. The lady was also very patient and gentle. The hotel has a beautiful environment, is equipped with robots, and is comfortable to live in. The front desk can also store luggage. I like it 😘

The room was comfortable and the provided hair and skin products were great. However there are no English channels to choose from and the bar at the top was under construction although we did not see any notices saying that it was closed. The main issue we have with this hotel is that they would not hold our luggage for more than 2 hours and we had to pay to have late checkout... which was a prorated price of the room. The hotel was empty and our train was not until the evening. The lobby is small and multiple times other guests would be sleeping on the couches. And the convenience store is locked and you have to scan using WeChat and enter in personal information to buy anything. And then you have to use the system to unlock the door so that you can get out... I stayed at this hotel last year and really liked it. But I plan to stay across the street from now on because the hotel service here was so poor and it seemed like they had never had foreign guest (they couldn't read the passport information or Chinese visa for whatever form they needed to complete). The hotel was much better last year.

It was my husband birthday and booked Shangri-la, It was very clean and have a stunning view. The room has a nice smell. The reception was very cheerful, and they all could speak English. I requested a birthday theme for my husband's birthday and they designed the room with some towel, also send a free cake and red wine. ( I have to mention, Thank you dears) The breakfast was very delicious. We also tried the Buffet dinner one night, it was very delicious with both choices Chinese and Western. The swimming pool was clean.

Highly recommend! The most convenient location in Qinhuangdao, you can walk to the beach, shopping mall, restaurants, university and have easy access to nearby Beidaihe, Nandaihe or even Anaya. Check-in was simple, the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was large, clean with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast is also available at the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway - a worthwhile trip even when it’s cold!
