This hotel is absolutely stunning, so clean and fresh. Decor and aesthetics were just beautiful, such helpful staff, super professional and friendly, the lemonade on arrival was just what we needed! The pool areas were always spotless and well maintained, never overcrowded, always space to find a lounger, the quieter smaller pool was our favourite on the spa side of the hotel, super modern and quiet. We had breakfast every morning, cannot fault it! Had everything you can think of and always so well stocked considering how busy it could get at breakfast time. 10/10 from us! The hotel itself I would say is finished through its refurbishment apart from some of the rooms, we had an older style room (not yet refurbed) it was still super clean and comfy bed lovely balcony etc, very nice but just didn't fit well with the rest of the hotel, but that's just us being picky. I would 100% stay again and would look at coming back for a new look room as if they are anything to go by the rest of the hotel they will look amazing!

Beautiful looking hotel recently refurbished. It is in a built up area no scenic views from your room. There is a roof top swimming pool with bar and loungers where there is scenic views. Room clean and fresh really appreciate the AC which is quite. Large fridge and safe in a cupboard. Towel and bath robes have clearly passed their use by date. Fraying edges on towels and holes in bath robes. Food breakfast, lunch and dinner is buffet style. although there is variety, hot food is warm. Tea coffee warm. I would suggest not to book all inclusive. There are lots of eateries within walking distance from the hotel where you can have authentic Cretan food and pizza etc. Directly opposite the entrance to the hotel across the road, there is a mini supermarket. (closed on Sunday's ). Staff friendly and accommodating. A few snags with my room ie bathroom door scraping on the floor making a loud noise when open/shutting, maintenance man fixed it within a couple of hours. 🤗 Website says kettle and tea/coffee facilities in room. That is not the case you have to request it when you arrive at the hotel. A lovely hotel to stay in. I would recommend and visit again.

The hotel has its own area on the beach with beds and umbrellas. Bar service is also available on the beach. The beach is just across the road, which is not too busy and there are zebra crossings very close by. There are 2 pools, 1 in the front and one in the garden area. The room we stayed in was lovely, with a balcony and a kitchenette. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice. All the staff were lovely and friendly. We had a couple of problems with the air con and they were sorted promptly. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk along the beach road from the old town and the harbour. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes etc en route if you don't want to walk that far. The old town is definitely worth a visirlt, both in the day and at night. Would definitely recommend the Plaza Beach House, we loved it's position and the facilities. There is a spa and a gym.

We had an amazing experince here, everything was just perfect. Hotel area and rooms are clean, there’s a nice and relaxed atmosphere. We had nice room with a great and comfortable bed, good AC and the shower was just AMAZING. We had a small single studio but it was enough for us (there are bigger rooms available). The pool is the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, so if the sea is too cool to swim, take a swim in the pool! Also the free breakfast for all the guests is very nice and the breakfast was good as well. The location is more on the silent side, which is good if you want peace and relaxation. You can access the city via bus or taxi easily. Car rental is made easy with the hotel’s help and you have a car brought to you to the front door. The staff of this hotel is very nice, friendly and helpful, thank you so much for making our trip even better! (tip for the manager: give your staff a raise!). We will definitely come to your hotel again when we visit Rethymno again :) Kippis!

Exceptional service and very friendly staff! Everything was very smooth from the beginning to the end of our stay. Room: Gorgeous and stylish interior with very modern design. Amazing modern lightning in the room and the shower was beautiful. Everything had attention to detail and enjoyed a tasty free espresso in the room. Bed was very comfortable and huge. Pool: Very clean and nice to swim. Very comfortable sunbeds. Beach: Beach front suites with access to the beach. The guy working at the beach is very kind and even reserved sunbeds for us as when we arrived everything was full so we sat front row once something became available. Sun beds also free for hotel guests. Breakfast: Very good breakfast buffet style had anything you need. Nice fresh orange juice. Special shout out to both the hotel managers (Filio and the other female manager I cannnot recall the name) who were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We were unsure what to expect and chose this hotel on the great reviews it received. We were not disappointed in any way. The staff were fantastic. We could not have been treated any better when both my husband and myself suffered unforeseen health issues during our 2 week stay. The reception staff, always with a smile, provided us with great support during our health issues and for this, we can not thank them enough. The amazing cleaners (who never stop and are always friendly and helpful) the breakfast staff ( who provide the best hotel breakfast food, with a fantastic choice and variety of freshly prepared food, which changes daily). The location is perfect, situated a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants and the beautiful Old Town. In short, we would highly recommend Ionia Suites and would return again in a heartbeat

Μείναμε ενα τριήμερο 8 με 11 Απριλίου ως ζευγάρι, πολύ ευγενική εξυπηρέτηση από το front office staff, ειδικά η Χριστίνα, εξυπηρετικοτατη με μια θετική ηρεμη αύρα και γενικά όσους είδαμε εκεί είχαμε πολύ φιλική αντιμετώπιση. Πράγμα που θέλαμε μιας και ήταν μια γρήγορη έξοδος πριν μπούμε κι εμείς σε δύσκολη σεζόν. Πράγματι χαλαρωσαμε. Είχε κάποια μικρά θέματακια το δωμάτιο που δεν μας πτόησε καθόλου το γεγονός αλλά ήταν όλα αντιμετωπισημα και μικρολεπτομέρειες. Δυστυχώς το εστιατόριο ήταν κλειστό ακόμα άρα δεν έχουμε άποψη. Εμείς πληρώσαμε κατα κύριον λόγο με το Τουρισμός για όλους άρα ναι μεν τσιμπημένη η τιμή αλλά δε μας ένοιαξε τόσο. Ενδεχομένως να γυρίζαμε κάποια στιγμή στο μέλλον για άλλη μια απόδραση!
