The lady at the front desk was very helpful. She helped us call the car rental company and check the nearest stores for us. As the first stop in Iceland, this place is very qualified. And it's very close to the Chinese Embassy, so I feel safe. They park for free. If the flybus comes, their station is opposite the central hotel. You can see it after crossing the road and walking back a hundred meters. Their breakfast is good, with more hot food than the hotel behind us.

Although the room is small, rooms in Iceland are similar. Overall it is relatively clean. It is very close to small shops such as churches and supermarkets. There is the sea on one side and the church on the other. The lady at the front desk is very attentive. Suddenly the alarm bell rang in the middle of the night and people ran out. The corridor will be fine after a while

I love the service, especially allowing early check-in or storing luggage so I may freely explore the city. The hotel room was clean and tidy, spacious and very comfortable. I like the breakfasts are included in the price, and would like more variety instead of the same choices every day. Other than that, a good stay for a good price.

Giving 5 stars for the friendly staff and amazing breakfast. I was shocked to see bacon, eggs, and several other hot food selectikns. The skyr and berry compote was the most delicious thing I've tasted so far. Room was small, but clean and well maintained. My only complaint is the bathroom set up. When showering, the water flooded the entire bathroom floor. I had to wait several moments for the water to drain before putting the bathmat down. Location is great. Within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, but a few streets off the busiest area, so quiet at night. One more note is that free parking is very limited. That was explained on the website when booking, so we did anticipate paying for parking for some time. Not a complaint, just a note for anyone driving to Reykavik.

This hotel surprised us positively. The location is great, the room was clean and had a nice view, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, the staff was friendly. The management reserved us a nice and unexpected surprise to celebrate my husband's birthday. In short words, we were happy to have chosen Fosshotel Lind!
