"We had a very pleasant stay at Riad Yhala. The place is very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff is always available and attentive. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The only small point that could be improved is adding a screen or partition in front of the bathroom door for more privacy. Other than that, everything was perfect!"

Outstanding
GGuest UserService exemplary. Without a doubt, Michel & Ansa our hosts, went above and beyond in all they do. Our first time in a Riad ( ”home” away from the chaos of Jemma al Fna )- Michel walks with every individual guest the route to take to the Square from Riad Timila. Without this - one could easily get lost amidst the labyrinth of crowded souk passage ways.
Ansa gave us support and assistance in purchasing a Moroccan coffee table ( to be shipped ). Buyers beware - it is an arduous process of negotiation requiring 100% trust !
The Riad was complete with fabulous Moroccan arts and crafts . Remember, all Riads have steps to the different levels.
Breakfast simple and wholesome, dining outside on the sunny rooftop. Dinner available on request which is very convenient after sightseeing all day. In addition, international guests were super interesting to share dinner with.
It is important in Marrakech to take cash as many locations do not take credit cards.
An authentic Riad with very special hosts. Thank you Michel and Ansa.
GGuest UserThe hotel is overpriced in comparison to other riads in the same location. It is nice but nothing special. As others, it’s located in a narrow side street where you will not find it easily at first. I recommend to take a hotel taxi because otherwise you will have to rely on local people who will take more money for showing the way than you pay to get there from the AirPort. The room is ok but i had a nicer one nearby for half the price. We had a flight at 11am and they said they will not offer breakfast before it starts at 8.30 - very late for a hotel so we just had a juice and cake, again overpriced when you think breakfast was supposed to be included. The hotel was clean but on the floor i could feel dust or sand. The service was average. In general i wouldnt stay in the same riad again for sure.
GGuest UserStaying at Riad Dada Messouda & Spa was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Marrakesh. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel incredibly welcome almost like being part of a family. Everyone was so warm, kind, and genuinely helpful. One staff member, in particular, felt like a friend from home so caring and attentive.
Even when we had to leave early at 7:00 AM for a tour, they kindly prepared breakfast just for us. I also asked for help a few times, like cutting a honeydew melon, and they always went the extra mile with a smile. You can really feel that they put heart into everything they do.
The riad itself is stunning full of Moroccan charm and beautiful traditional design. The room and all the common areas were very clean, tidy, and well maintained. Everything felt fresh, peaceful, and comfortable.
I chose this place because I wanted to experience something truly local and authentic, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It’s not just a hotel it feels like home.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakesh!!!
GGuest UserPlace is nice and clean, staff was also very helpful.
However, do note that the address is not the actual address of the riad. I am travelling alone, and only booked this riad because it was right beside where my friends are staying. I only found out when I arrive that it is a 4-5mins walk from the actual address stated on trip.com. Which was very misleading and they should update the correct address. Kudos to the staff who was very nice to walk me out many times, as I prefer to have someone walk me in the early mornings, and at night. Provided water, and also very helpful and friendly.
Another issue I had was that I arranged an airport transport to pick me from the airport, and was told the driver will be carrying the hotel sign with my name. I could not find the driver and panicked, again because I was travelling alone. I had to call the riad to realise that the driver was not carrying the correct sign, but another name similar to Riad Dar Massai, and did not have my name on it. Which was honestly impossible for me to recognise which is my driver. The sign should be made clear to guest first time in Marrakesh to just show ”RIAD DAR MASSAI + name of guest”.
Finally, the aircon was great, but blankets were really thin. I know they provided extra blankets but I did not use it. So I am very cold at night.
Apart from the few drawbacks, it is overall a beautifully designed Riad, I actually really loved the interior architecture, and the rooms are clean and spacious, showers are hot and nice.

Great
GGuest UserStayed at Riad Mama for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience.
The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but what truly made the stay exceptional were the people and their outstanding service. Dunya went above and beyond, helping me with my large luggage to the lobby and keeping my room spotless at all times. Farid prepared Moroccan tea for me on my first night on the rooftop and generously shared great restaurant recommendations. Nour, the director, and her sister greeted me with warm smiles every time they saw me and provided truly fantastic service.
They offered warm, genuine hospitality and consistently went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I genuinely felt like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. When I unfortunately had food poisoning on my second day and didn’t leave my room at all, they noticed and checked on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. Lastly, the riad itself is literally just 2–4 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina, which made getting around incredibly easy. I would definitely come back again without hesitation. Thank you Riad Mama! I can’t recommend Riad Mama enough this is hospitality at its finest. The rooftop view facing Koutoubia mosque.
Mmskmr95624The interior is just as beautiful and colorful as pictured. I really appreciated the mineral water and the powerful hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was also incredibly delicious.
However, the area around the riad isn't the safest, and there are scammers lingering around offering directions. If you're a woman traveling alone, I'd advise being cautious when moving around. It's also quite a distance to various tourist attractions.
I also had a massage, which was excellent. Every staff member was very attentive and helpful.
CChengI had an exceptional stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities I could need. The bed was so comfortable, and I woke up feeling refreshed every morning.
The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. I especially loved the [mention specific feature, e.g., rooftop pool, delicious breakfast buffet, or stunning views]. It truly added to the overall experience.
What stood out the most was the level of service—every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I can’t wait to return!”

GGuest UserWhat a beautiful Riad! My daughter and I loved it here, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pool was beautiful and surprisingly warm and the traditional decor was stunning. We stayed in the Casablanca suite which was beautiful, especially the copper bath (only slight downside was that the WiFi didn’t work up there)
It was around a twenty minute walk, down a labyrinth of alleys, to the main square but that wouldn’t put us off staying here again - as everything else was perfect!
AAlbertoDespite it being difficult to find for Marrakech newcomers (we needed some help from very welcoming and helpful local kids), the Riad Is a wonderful go-back to the past glory of Medina.
A great smile welcomed us with the warmth of a lovely family member and after we settled in the room, we were served with local tea and pastries.
We felt immediately at home.
It's in the center of Medina, but the view from the terrace has a park.
Freshly made breakfast was served in the morning together with delicious coffee and abounding tea.
We know it already is going to be out choice for the next time.
Living Marrakech the Morocco's way is much more than simply visiting Medina.
It's all about where you spend the night!
Thank you for all the attention!

FFarahWe had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was!
Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.
