Top Couple Friendly Hotels in Longsheng

Extremely satisfied! The owner clearly puts a lot of thought and effort into running this guesthouse, and you can see that dedication in every detail. Not only is the decor superior to 95% of the other guesthouses around, but the food is also delicious, so we ended up eating most of our meals right here. The Dong minority young man working there was very proactive in helping us with our luggage, which really lightened our load after traveling. The complimentary coffee was also incredibly tasty; I even got a cup to go in my thermos to enjoy later. Both the hotel's facilities and the service made this trip incredibly pleasant.

Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the house itself; it truly felt like a 'breathing building,' with a gentle breeze constantly circulating. It was incredibly quiet, and I instantly felt myself relax. The room faced due east, making sunrise views absolutely spectacular. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and showering with mountain spring water in the smart bathroom was a treat. The cleanliness was divine – I didn't even mind walking barefoot on the floor. The personalized butler service was also very thoughtful, making it feel like staying at an old friend's house for a few days.

I stayed 3 nights, ate every dinner there and would absolutely come again! I was super lucky to get an upgrade on arrival (see photo of the view from my balcony 7am in the morning) I‘d read that staying 3 nights was too long, but for me it was perfect. I did the dazhai to ping‘an hike one day and took the gondola up the next day. On my last morning they even drove me down to the parking lot to get on the right bus. Super sweet! Only minor issue: my room was a non-smoker room and it really did not smell of smoke at all unless I tried to use the aircon. Somehow the air coming out of the aircon smelled of smoke. For me that wasn‘t a huge issue as I decided not to use the aircon & was fine.

Stay here. If you have travelled in China at this price point, you will know that hotels can be sorted largely into two categories: “I can’t believe that this awful place is this expensive,” and “I can’t believe that this nice of a hotel is this cheap.” This hotel fits squarely in the latter: it is exceedingly clean; the staff are very friendly; the food is good (you can have lunch or dinner here in addition to the complementary breakfast); and it is well located relative to the central village and various lookout points (it also has a nice view itself, either from its balconies, or eastwards along a small stone path through the terraces). If you are looking for a great place to stay while relaxing in Longji, look no further!

Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists.

This place is simply wonderful!!! Located in a quiet place in Tiantouzhai Village, with a wonderful view over rice terraces, it was a perfect spot to explore Dazhai area and to hike from there to Ping'an. Room was exquisite and equipped with all the necessary for a comfortable stay, and also the common areas and the terrace were lovely to spend some free time. But the best part is the staff: the owner was really precious and helped me arrange transportation from Guilin and to Yangshuo; especially for this transfer his help was fundamental, since the organization was quite tricky for several reasons... but thanks to him we enjoyed our time in Longsheng area with great peace of mind, while he took care of everything! Of course he also gave us great advice about how to properly visit Dazhai and Ping'an scenic spots. I really cannot recommend this place enough! Thanks for everything!

The inn is located in Tiantouzhai. It is a few steps away from the observation deck. I personally feel that it is the best in several observation decks. It should belong to the second highest, but it is most suitable for watching the sunrise and watching the panoramic view. Good luck (good weather, and the beginning or end of the lunar month), you can see the stars on the hotel terrace at night, but it will be late, and after some of the surrounding lights are turned off. The overall atmosphere is very healing, suitable for a few days after the road, calm down and relax. The store service is very good, the proprietress cooks a good dish, very rare, suitable for the public taste. The inn can book a ticket back to Guilin. When I left, the boss was very enthusiastic and helped to send it to the entrance of the scenic spot to take the bus 🚌.

I came here with the expectation of revisiting the old place, and now I left with satisfaction. The weather was good, and we had both sunrise and mirror. Located at the highest observation deck, it is estimated that only the No. 1 observation deck can best appreciate the beauty of the mirror, because only here has sufficient water in the past few days, and there is no water release on the No. 2 side. The panoramic building is worthy of the panoramic view. The facilities are not bad, the bedding is very comfortable, the food is also good, and the luggage is sent up and down the mountain by a special person. Although the altitude is about 1,200 meters, it is easy to get up, and the boss is easy to get along with. Finally, a small suggestion, the shampoo is relatively dry, it is recommended to add conditioner as an option.

All these photos were taken from the balcony of the B&B! ! The owner of the B&B is very hospitable and the food is super delicious. I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !

Live near the No. 3 Observation Deck, with great views and convenient transportation. The owner and his family are very hospitable and gave us rice wine and royal bee wine, which were delicious.
