Mountain View Hotels in Longsheng

The room location is excellent, very convenient for visiting Qixing Lanyue (Moon-embracing Seven Stars) and Jiulong Wuhu (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers). The owners are incredibly warm and attentive, offering prompt and thoughtful pick-up and drop-off services. The food portions are generous and delicious; the bamboo chicken was especially good, and the vegetables, straight from their own garden, were fresh and tasty. The family room was spacious with great views, and it was decorated very cozily. I'm extremely satisfied.

Our stay at the hotel was great! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat. They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo. The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner. We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

The quality of accommodation at Longji Terrace here is absolutely top-notch! No wonder it's hailed as the pinnacle of Longji lodging; it truly lives up to its reputation. The facilities and bathrooms feature high-end brands, giving them a truly premium feel. The environment is even more exceptional. The guesthouse is tranquil, elegant, and naturally serene. You can take in the breathtaking views of the Longji Terraces right from your room, enjoying an expansive, incredibly soothing vista. And the service is truly impeccable! The housekeeper was warm, genuine, and thoughtfully helped us with our luggage. She even proactively brought afternoon tea and playing cards to our room, showing incredible attention to detail. Upon checkout, they had even prepared a lovely farewell gift, which was both heartwarming and touching. The main highlight is how incredibly delicious the food is! The free-range chicken is self-raised, and the green vegetables are home-grown! The organic taste is simply divine!

Seriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

My stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth! First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children. The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room. But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!' It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.' This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists.

This is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

All these photos were taken from the balcony of the B&B! ! The owner of the B&B is very hospitable and the food is super delicious. I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !
