Guest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care.
No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey.
This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys!
I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

KingKRooAlmost missed this place because it was not in the ranking list. It is a hidden gem. To me what make this place stands out compared with the many highly rated lodging in the vicinity is its design (the unit I booked has a floor to ceiling window, raised platform w cushion seat and bean bag to chill and have tea, no silly bath tub at window). The view is to die for, exactly same as the photo displayed in trip.com (I thot the photo was enhanced but turned out it is exactly the same on site. Even the photo I took looks surreal. The rice terrace looks so near and the cascading stepped layers look so distinct) and the price is less and even half of the other listing. Definitely value for money. Only downside is the shower water pressure is a bit low and hot water needed a while and smart WC not calibrated well w zesty sensor at work.
Additional plus point, sunrise scene from your room if the clouds is in your favour. Good local home cooked food and attentive service from owner and family. Very near and easy stroll to lookout 1 and but tough yet short trail to lookout 2.

This was the best experience I've ever had with an hotel.
First of all the place is very new, and you can tell. It is extremely clean and technologic (the toilet had a worming seat option) and the bathtub, the sofa and the bed were all super comfortable.
The location is the best in the Longji park, close to view points 1 and 2. And from our room we could see the rice terraces.
But the best thing were the owners. They got in contact with us before we arrived to make sure we knew the way. They welcomed us with hot tea, and explained to us where all the sightseeing points were.
We had many questions and they patiently answered all of them. The service was amazing!
Last thing: eat in the hotel! We ordered everything in the morning and in the evening we had the best dinner we had in China so far. The breakfast is also very good.
This is really a gem, and we liked our stay very much. Thank you again for the hospitality!

My stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth!
First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children.
The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room.
But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!'
It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.'
This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds.
We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial.
The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

The owner, a charming lady from Chongqing, is incredibly warm and welcoming. She was always prompt and efficient with the mountain shuttle service, and the vehicle itself was very comfortable.
The food served here is freshly prepared to order, always hot and delicious. I highly recommend the local chicken prepared two ways and the fresh mountain greens. The complimentary glutinous rice wine was a surprisingly delightful treat. Plus, American coffee comes with unlimited refills (just don't waste it!) – a nice bonus.
The rooms are on par with standard hotel quality and get great natural light. From just outside the room, you can admire the terraced fields, which offer different charms throughout the day. The swimming pool water is clean and accessible anytime. Complimentary traditional Yao ethnic clothing is available for guests to try on and wear. The Turkish-style viewing platform is a perfect spot to relax and cool down after dinner. Lying there, with the mountains at your back, listening to the birds chirp and frogs croak from the fields, is incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
Just a small suggestion: It would be even better if the local aunties serving food in the restaurant could be as warm and smiling as the owner.

Guest UserThe Hotel was amazing with beautiful architecture and views. Jason the host speaks excellent English and went above and beyond with information about walks, help with mobile phone issues, ensuring we caught the right buses to our next destination and making sure we were comfortable. The meals were delicious with very generous proportions. The Hotel was within easy walking distance from the parking area where we were dropped off. Couldn’t recommend the Baike Hotel highly enough.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

HMxiaojieWe originally booked a hotel in Dazhai, but changed to Yunman in Ping'an Village at the last minute to see the night view. The decor was simple, and it seemed to be run by a family with great care. The location was excellent, with a wide view; I recommend booking a room with a full view – a 180-degree panorama! At night, with the room lights off, the twinkling lights on the terraced fields were very romantic. It's very close to the Jiulong Wuhu scenic area, and we climbed up there once during the day and once at night. We had dinner at the guesthouse; they had a freshly killed chicken, and the owner even removed the bones for us – very thoughtful. When we were leaving, our car battery died, and the owner kindly borrowed some jumper cables to power it for us.

The Longsheng Hot Springs Resort was a well-spent time of refreshing and relaxing. Surrounded by mountains, crisp air and the sounds of flowing creeks below was an absolutely soothing experience.
The “mountain view” room was clean and spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. I really liked the rocking chair as it added a warm aesthetic to the overall decor. The breakfast buffet was good and provided a variety of options.
The all-day access allowed me ample time to immerse myself into the different climatized pools which was great and I instantly felt regenerated. The natural environment was scenic and inspiring as I took in the warmth and heat of the springs. Though it was quite overcast and a drizzly few days, being outdoors didn’t feel cold.
The staff were quite friendly and helpful and provided adequate responses to various inquiries despite the language barrier. I was glad to make this trip and have this experience.
My only recommendation would be to provide larger sized robes upon request. I found those in my room a bit small and I would’ve preferred a larger one but when I asked at the front desk, none were available.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it!
