"We really enjoyed our stay here. The views, staff, food, bed, everything was perfect. The staff was so hospitable, it’s like you are right at home. I wanted to order a delivery and the staff waited over an hour downstairs to ensure the delivery appears, she even checked in with me to let me know that the delivery guy has yet to arrive. The location may not be the nearest to the central area with a lot of food variety (which explains the beautiful view that you can’t get at lower grounds) but you can order food in the hotel and their meals were great, portion was big too! Overall, a 10/10 stay!"

The food, from breakfast to dinner and even the coffee, was superb! The owner also patiently offered itinerary suggestions and helped arrange private car services to attractions and the bus station. A huge thank you to the owner and staff for their 100% perfect service 💯. You can truly feel the owner's passion for life, which is evident in every corner of the inn. "Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely stunning—you can see Mt. Siguniang right from the property. The service was exceptional. Although the staff don’t speak English, it wasn’t a problem at all because they were always willing to help. Throughout our stay, we felt their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and it can get quite hot at night—especially for us Thais, who are used to having the AC on all the time 😂. That said, I would still highly recommend staying here. The breathtaking scenery and wonderful service more than make up for it."

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The room had great natural light, and the facilities were all in excellent condition and well-equipped, including an oxygen machine and a humidifier. The front desk staff, especially one of the ladies, was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and paid attention to every detail. The hotel maintained excellent hygiene, with no unpleasant odors. The location is superb, making it very convenient to get to Changping Valley Scenic Area. Overall, the value for money is outstanding!

You can pick up your luggage at the scenic area entrance and go directly into the valley to explore. After you're done the next day, you can retrieve your luggage at the valley entrance – very convenient! The room was very clean, facing the snow-capped mountains with spectacular views. The underfloor heating was also very warm (2-3 degrees Celsius at night), very comfortable. Dinner was a buffet, 120 yuan per person, including mushroom soup, chicken hot pot, yak meat, and various vegetables. The ingredients were of very high quality, and we couldn't possibly finish it all. A very nice guesthouse, highly recommended.

Staying at this hotel in Siguniang Mountain was such a pleasant surprise! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, even proactively picking us up at the hotel, which was very thoughtful. The guesthouse itself is clean and comfortable, with unique decor that's perfect for photos. You can enjoy tea and listen to music, creating a really healing and relaxing atmosphere. I was even more surprised to learn that Li Xian and Yang Di have stayed here – that definitely adds to the experience! The attention to detail is excellent too; they provide oxygen equipment, which is reassuring for altitude sickness, and you can even try on ******* clothes. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! 👍

My legs hurt.
Our room was at the top, offering unobstructed views of the mountains from several angles. It was the first hotel after climbing the hill in front of the bus station to Changping. We were traveling alone with our 10-year-old child. The hotel's hostess was the most lovely, fast-working, cheerful and lively woman. She helped us with everything, from small matters to big ones, like missing our bus to Chengdu. We stayed here for three nights and slept comfortably every night. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with many flowers blooming outside the windows. The cook was very kind. Even though we couldn't communicate clearly, she helped us with everything. We survived this trip because of the lovely people from this hotel.

The hotel building is a bit old. The soundproofing is very poor. I don't know if the sound is coming from the restaurant, but at night I could hear sounds like tables and chairs being moved and scraped on the floor, and this continued for a long time. I could also hear people talking outside the door. The location is 1.6km from the scenic area. It's not close. The service at the front desk was very good. They tried their best to resolve the issues.

The hotel is located at the entrance of Changpinggou Scenic Area, making it very convenient for travel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the owner turned on the underfloor heating in advance, so even though it was cold outside, the room was very warm.

The service was incredibly attentive. Upon check-in, I received a complimentary room upgrade and a welcome fruit platter. The room had a superb view, and the bedding was wonderfully soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. At check-out, the front desk thoughtfully assisted me with calling a taxi. My entire experience was flawless. Absolutely five stars, highly recommended!

Advantages: relatively clean Disadvantages: poor sound insulation, the hotel in the whole street should be similar. The vehicles and people passing by the street can be heard clearly. The restaurant opposite the room has a particularly loud music, which lasts until the early morning and especially affects the rest. Staying in two bowls, no one cleaned up the garbage, no one filled the dental appliances and toilet paper, asked the front desk twice before giving it, the service still has to keep up with ～
