lilyguoThe hotel's location is excellent. We had an unobstructed, expansive view of Mount Siguniang's Yaomei Peak to the east, and Balang Mountain to the west. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The room interiors have a rustic, natural wood aesthetic, reminiscent of a ski hotel in the Swiss Alps. Importantly, the rooms are equipped with oxygen concentrators and humidifiers, both of which are crucial! The hotel's mascots are two friendly dogs and a cat. The hotel courtyard has many charming little spots for guests to take photos. The staff are attentive but not intrusive, always ready to help enthusiastically when needed. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay.

Dai.yaThis guesthouse is perfectly located right inside Changping Valley. I could even see the 'Golden Mountain' sunset directly from my room – even if it was just a tiny glimpse, I was thrilled! The yak hotpot was delicious; the yak meat wasn't ***** at all and was wonderfully tender. The complimentary highland barley bread was also tasty. We couldn't finish it all on the first day, so the lovely staff at the guesthouse warmed it up for us as breakfast the next morning. We traveled during the off-season, so it was quiet and peaceful, which helped us sleep well despite the altitude sickness. The two ladies working at the guesthouse were also incredibly helpful! Highly recommend!

The snow-capped mountains at 9 AM were absolutely stunning! No need to get up early to chase the sunrise; it truly lives up to its nickname, ”Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.” After searching for ages, I finally found a courtyard hot spring bath with a view. And it's a private courtyard bath for each guesthouse, so you won't be disturbed. The guesthouse has its own restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine. As a Cantonese person coming from a city in the twenties (Celsius) to the sub-zero Western Sichuan plateau for the first time, I absolutely had to have some braised yak meat and matsutake chicken soup to warm me up. Soaking in my private courtyard hot spring bath in -8°C weather, gazing at the unbeatable snow-capped mountain scenery—this is what it means to have your eyes in paradise! Even at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, there's no need to worry. The guesthouse has oxygen cylinders and oxygen bags. Although it was my first time at such a high altitude, I felt mild altitude sickness, which was manageable. Especially when I felt unwell, taking a walk in the courtyard and breathing in the negative ions of nature made me feel much better! What's best about the guesthouse is the scenery; it's truly my ideal utopia. Every view from the room is a perfect shot. You don't need to spend money to go to tourist attractions to see snow-capped mountains, meadows, yaks, horses, and donkeys. Coming here to relax is incredibly therapeutic.

The room was great and very clean. There is even a heating fireplace with a great atmosphere. The projection facilities are also in place, and there is a smart toilet.
The scenery near the room is very good, the window is a beautiful snow scene in the morning.

Guest UserThis top-floor suite offers an unobstructed 180° panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain's Yaomei Peak through its floor-to-ceiling windows. You can lie in bed and watch cloud waterfalls cascade over the snow-capped peaks, it's truly breathtaking. The expansive cliffside balcony serves as your private viewing platform.
The decor blends ******* style with modern luxury, featuring natural wood textures and warm lighting, creating a serene yet sophisticated ambiance. Equipped with a giant projector screen, underfloor heating, and medical-grade oxygen supply, you can stay comfortably and without worry at 3200 meters above sea level, free from altitude sickness. The bathtub is strategically placed overlooking the cliff, allowing you to gaze at glaciers while soaking – incredibly therapeutic.
The butler service is exceptionally thoughtful. They proactively reached out before check-in to assist with our needs, and afternoon tea could be delivered to our room. We savored every moment, accompanied by the sounds of the snow-capped mountains and flowing streams. We felt gently cared for throughout our stay.
This is an absolute must-stay, flagship room type when visiting Siguniang Mountain. The views, facilities, and service are all top-notch. It's perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the mystique of the snow-capped mountains and rejuvenate their minds and bodies. Once you experience it, you'll never forget it.

Anonymous UserThe owner was so kind and upgraded our room for free. The hotel has its own parking lot downstairs, which is really convenient. The room even has an oxygen concentrator, which is a huge plus for anyone visiting the high-altitude region for the first time. The views are incredible, and the hot pot for dinner was delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xiaojin.

Guest UserLocation of this hotel is great - stone's throw away from the bus drop off and entrance to Shuangqio valley, and on the less busy side of things. The room was reasonable.
The reason for my low rating is what I feel is low value for money. The price I paid for this hotel room is a premium for this area - around 50% to more than double the price of hotels in the area and hotels a little bit further along but with excellent amenities, luxurious fittings and breathtaking views. I planned to splurge for our single night stay here and thought the room here would be special.
The view of the rive is a view, but it is not spectacular. Unlike many of the other hotels, the window isn't a floor to ceiling or wide window either. The amenities provided are minimal for the price, perhaps it is usual to this area, but compared to other hotels I have stayed in China, it didn't have a laundry room, no welcome drink or evening drink. Service was as needed - we would need to ask for information, and the answers given are efficient. I came down one evening to ask about something and couldn't find anyone at the front desk or anywhere. Eventually located them behind in the dark. This was around 9pm.
The restaurant food was ok, but again, the service was as needed. They recommended the hotpot, served us the hotpot and never came back again to check on us. I had to keep walking to them to ask for things. And the staff were having conversations loudly on phones and with each other.. They actually forgot about us and switched off the lights on us. Breakfast spread was sufficient, but again, service was as per needed. No tea option possible - if you don't drink coffee or milk, your only option is sweetened soymilk.
The room was fine, and the location was great. I am just more critical because we paid a premium, and didn't appear to get very much more compared to rooms we could have gotten for much less at a similar location.

Saoirse’s Voyage
This hotel had the coziest vibes ever! I love the decorations at the lobby, receptionist area, and also the room. It also has floor heater in the rooms which is very important during cold winter season. The room could be cleaner, had some dust here and there. But overall is okay.

The location is close to Changpinggou, 8 kilometers and 20 minutes' drive from Shuangqiaogou. There are restaurants on the stairs opposite, which is very convenient. The hotel environment is excellent, the room is large, and the diffuse oxygen supply in the room is very good. In addition to the ineffective temperature control of the floor heating, the room temperature is out of control to 30℃, and the waiter needs to be called to debug the outdoor unit. In addition to the insufficient breakfast supply, the rice noodles and milk are not available if you go late (8:30). In addition to the unstable water pressure of the hot water in the room, the shower is hot and cold.
