The hotel was decent to be honest very clean in a busy area of Rome but also close to everything you need from restaurants , shops to bar etc….

Very central HOTEL, nice room even if it overlooks an internal courtyard which certainly needs renovation starting from the facade. breakfast not up to 4 star standards.

We had a bad experience. When we arrived at the hotel reception we were surprised that the hotel was full and so he would put us in some rooms in another building at a distance of 10 minutes walking. Anyway, we arrived at this apartment, which is very old, by the way, without any security, without room service, without breakfast. We contacted Trip. and promptly they solved our problem and then we went to another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone as it is far from a 4 star.

After booking this hotel we were concerned about the negative reviews so felt compelled to write our own after being pleasantly surprised. Location is perfect. Main hotel or Annex. Everything on your doorstep. Piazza Popolo, Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain are within 5 minute stroll. We stayed in the dreaded Annex however it turned out great. Appears off the back of the negative reviews they have now introduced a bell boy and buggy service to take you to the annex in style from the main reception. It’s literally 3 minutes round the corner and was pretty nice to scoot through the streets of Rome on your private buggy. The Annex is like a private apartment block for which you get a code to enter the building and key card for your room. Yes the elevator is tiny. It’s the centre of Rome! The room itself was very modern, clean and perfect aircon! Needed for a Rome heatwave. Shower was excellent pressure and temp. Plenty of toiletries and hairdryer provided. Small Safe in room as well. We WhattsApp’d the reception to ask for an Iron and the staff appeared with it very promptly. Only slight issue was the fridge wasn’t cold. Paid the city tax on arrival by card. So no issues regarding alleged cash scams. Yes there isn’t a reception or bar etc in the annex but there is a small breakfast area. The location is so perfect you are never in the building anyway. Cafes, bars, restaurants, high end shops and mini markets literally outside the building. We even WhattsApp’d the reception to check out remotely and just left the key card in the room saving us having to walk round to reception to check out. Really nothing to complain about. It’s clearly not 5 star so don’t expect it to be. Would stay again.
