If youre looking for a place to sleep and shower to explore Rome for the whole day this is definitely a place to consider staying! We booked months in advance direct at their website and got a really good price. Location is perfect, every tourist attraction is nearly 15/20 minute walk away. Rooms are clean. We stayed in a ensuite bathroom bedroom which is all we needed. We did have a small delay checking in as the owner was in a different property and had to wait for him to meet us to give us keys. However you’re best getting in touch and letting the owner know time of arrival! Owner was helpful. Recommended a local cozy restaurant and few spots in Rome. Many thanks.

We were backpackers from Spain and luckily we were booked into Matisse Hotel by another hotel which was fully booked for the days we booked. Roberto offered us a price we couldn't refuse and we were immediately blown away by the beautiful accommodation he offered. The hotel is beautifully decorated with Roman sculptures and artworks everywhere, very elegant. It's a quiet and very lovely habitat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Matisse had very high standards of cleanliness and always made sure his guests had plenty of food. I would highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast to anyone if they are looking for a cultural experience that they will never forget. No wonder the New York Times selected him as the best hotel agency.
