Another good stop. We regularly use this hotel often en route between London and the Charante via the Channel Tunnel. A great place to stop not far off the A28 motorway (other motorways are available) with options for dining nearby. The hotel is reasonably priced, clean and functional (although it’s more than that if I’m honest). Good beds and bathrooms to make sure you leave fresh the next day. Breakfast is also available for a small charge. For an evening meal, Pondarosa is within a very short walk and more options available a short drive away or for delivery. Hotel staff are friendly and have excellent English. We’ll be back again and continue to recommend to others who visit.

This looks, from the outside like a run down chateau and you think …hmmm, are you sure? The answer is yes. This was a real gem of a find. All original fixtures and decor, loads of character and the loveliest hosts. Shower was great - we were in the Mekong room. breakfast was fantastic! They love dogs - I think we were the only people without one, great space to run them around before a journey. Highly recommend if you want a quirky French stay with bags of character and fabulous hosts

The hotel is very badly maintained. The entrance of the parking is completely damaged with a huge hole in the middle of the entrance. The room for 4 is really small. The bathroom is minimalist and the shower is at the limit of the reasonable so that it is small and full of moisture. The hotel is in a very poor condition, air conditioning is filled with dust packages, grills are missing and those present keep with whisky. A wooden wire is out of the shower to roll around the pipes and go back. The light of the corridor remains lighted all night is positioned at the level of the window. The hotel is very close to the hotel.
