Me and my husband arrived late at nigth around 9-10pm and outside was a heavy rain and we were very hungry unfortunately there is no any way to have any food until morning because there is no restaurant or Room Service was close, and mini bar so poor. Staff on reception doesn't speak English so they even didn't tried to help us. From next day as there is breakfast only meal that we could have, every time when we needed water or some snacks we have to go to reception and TRIED to explain, as we tried to call room service and ordered something but again nobody speaks even basic of English and they were making joke of us on the phone and laughing. On the end we manage to ordered caesar salad and tapioca, salad never came, they couldn't make it ( even if was on the Menu) and tapioca was over fried, burn and full of oil, so we couldn't eat!!! As me and my husband are in hospitality job over 10 years honestly we can say that this hotel is a joke and very unprofessional!! Not recommending AT ALL !!! Airbnb will do better job then them.

We booked the hotel according to the comments from here and were surprised. The service since the doorway was always a prime. The location is privileged, perfect for going on the beach of the day or in the night bars, and all tips have always come from the receptionists, who deserve exalted. Hotel with shampoo, air conditioning and liquid savon, quality cable TV with various channels, a good space apartment, new swab and water and light saving measures. The coffee machine I wanted to bring home so good, the juices always with orange and another alternative, and of course, both natural. Heat cucuz every day, and the other dishes always varied, what we love. Brood, sweet and salty cakes, always new, and well prepared. The lies that are walking through the trees in front of the hotel have closed this experience with another's key. If you want to enjoy Salvador and don't spend the day inside the hotel, this is certainly one of the best alternatives.

This hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is great and the internet connection by the pool works better than the rooms. It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.

You're going to get away from this place. You're treating the client with total disrespect and disrespect. I booked for Booking 20 days before the trip. When I arrived at the check-in, the hotel team reported that it had no rooms available, that the rooms were not in a position to receive guests and therefore were blocked, and that Booking was making the rooms available for an error of the hotel. Booking systems and they had no way to change that. They said it was not possible to contact who booked because Booking does not provide any form of contact, which is a lie because I received a confirmation email with a message from the ”Team Oyo” a few days after booking. It was so lie that the next day the No-Show fee was still collected and they sent a message saying I didn't appear after confirming the reservation. the lack of communication between the network managers and the hotel team, and I am thinking of the state of conservation of the rooms to have such treatment. we were not the only, during the time we tried to solve had other 3 guests who arrived and had the I had to look for another hotel at 21:00, after hours of travel and rainfall, with travel costs.

This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

We were staying over night in the purpose of sleep before the travel to lencois. The hotel was perfect for that. Really good value for money. Nice and clean room. Used the room service to order dinner which was really good. And the hotel was really closed to the bus terminal. Staff in check in talked English and in check out not really good English.

I liked the accommodations, however there is no telephone / intercom in the room, it is necessary to have a whatsapp contact, provided by them, for everything you need, I found it quite uncomfortable. Towels very shabby (rough), they should be replaced. Good breakfast, but with few seats, you have to wait depending on the time you arrive. Good cleanliness, attentive and helpful maids. There is a fridge in the room, but without any products inside. You can bring it from outside or ask them via whatsapp.

In my journey to the Savior I stayed hospitable in him when I arrived and one day before I returned. (day 03/02 and day 08/02) The room that placed us in the first hosting was good, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, only that it had a threat to one person and we were a couple. The room they put us in our second stay was bad, the bed was extremely soft, the bathroom was all flooded by leaving water from the shower box, the room available was just a shampoo. The breakfast coffee is reasonable, it's simple and few options. The water served in the jar is of the tower and has a strong taste of chlorine. The reception staff are not the most receptible. Only a woman who doesn't remember my name took my doubt about the dinner they served and was well educated, because the guy who was taking me up was not taking care of.

GGuest UserThe most charming boutique hotel in the heart of Pelourinho! Both the room and bathroom were beautiful and spacious, with a mini fridge, safe (although ours was broken) and large cupboard. The rooms are named after Portuguese explorers rather than the more common room numbers, which was very fitting for the colonial style interiors of the hotel. Staff were so welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast is served at your table - tick sheet menu - and includes various cereals, drinks, bread, cakes as well as Bahian specialties. There is a small plunge pool, which we didn’t get a chance to use. We couldn’t have asked for a better location; we were able to walk through the historic centre, with both the funicular and elevator serving the lower city close by. Lots of eateries and fantastic musical entertainment right outside the hotel - music stops around 10-10.30pm. It is a short walk across the cobblestones to the main Pelourinho square, which pays homage to Michael Jackson who shot a music video there. A (steepish) walk past the church takes you to the rainbow street of San Antonio, with plenty more restaurant/bar options. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The environment is wonderful, from the pool you see the blue sea (a little brave sea!!). The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The room is quite simple and it would be good to re-model it, but the truth that you spend a little time in the room and that was not important for us. The attention is good and the capirinha excellent!! We would certainly return.

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights. The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!

GGuest UserPros: * spacious clean room * good breakfast opening at 6:30am sharp (doors are locked before then), with lactose-free milk and gluten-free options * okay pool area (no greenery though) Cons: * the A/C was weak, but after running it for one day the room was sufficiently cool (you do need a card in the slot during that day...) * no ”Do not disturb” sign to hang onto the doorknob * the desk in the room was small and very annoying for laptop work (round, glass) * the chairs in the room were not comfortable at all * out of all the staff, only one front desk person spoke English * no laundry facilities * no business room * old slow elevator * window didn't insulate from the street noise that well, but I used 33 dB NRR earplugs to block the noise that came through; there are also many rooms that don't face the street * the front gate didn't open automatically with my key; had to wait for staff to open it; other times it was left open

RRuslanOutstanding service by the people who’s working here. They’re made sure I’m aware and familiar with everything at the hotel and showed real care about my well-being. Hotel location just across the beach and even some people saying it’s not good beach I’ve have a good time. There is everything you need around the hotel, supermarkets, small shops, pharmacies etc. Uber easy take you to main tourist attraction within 20 min ride and it’s cheap. Breakfast is like in most hotels whoever very good quality and presentation. Really happy with stay. Highly recommended.

PPaulo65537After a not very calm flight trip across the Atlantic, this Hotel made us feel really confortable since the time we arrive. It doesn't take long to reach from the airport and it is just by the beach, so it was a wonderful place to arrive when one comes from a winter tempest in Europe. The pool is marvellous! It has hot water and it is large enough to not feel crowded. The breakfast had everything I could wish for, fruits, many breads, and even more substancial foods. The staff was extremely helpful. I also felt safe and enjoyed being on the beach. Many nice beaches are very close by, as well as the Farol de Itapoã . We really enjoyed our stay.

GGuest UserI have been a guest in this small hotel many times, I think for a 3 star it is of a good standard. The sea view rooms, some with balconies are delightful, thanks to the view. The bathroom is spacious. Its best thing is breakfast and chá da tarde, a gastronomic break offered in the afternoon, with sweet and savory options. The location is one of the best in Salvador, a neighborhood facing the sea but at the back full of restaurants, bars, museums, ancient buildings and many things to see. It's just a pity that the beach in front is not suitable for swimming. In a few minutes by bus or taxi you can reach the praia do flamengo, one of the best in the city.
