Salzburg was a special part of our European Trip, and Villa Flockner was everything we had hoped. Martin and all his team were welcoming and friendly, and offered us plenty of help with any local information, along with a friendly chat. This family owned and run villa is so clean and new looking. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities you could need. It's very close to the centre of town, only 15 mins walk to Mirabellpatz, but so quiet, making for a good nights sleep. City buses stop right outside the Villa making it even easier to access the city. They also have off road parking if you are driving while in Austria. We were lucky enough to have their family room which had beds for us and our two children, with a sliding door so we could be separate from them after they had been put to bed. Breakfast each morning was wonderful! A selection of European cheeses, meats and fresh bread, pastries, various types of eggs, crepes, cereals, fresh fruit, juices and coffees. Nothing more was needed, but if you did need something else, it was never a problem. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to come back to Salzburg. The only very small negative for us was the fridge in the room wasn't great or very cold. However as soon as we raised this with the owner, he did look into it straight away for us. Super service!

The hotel is very conveniently located just by Salzburg station. Bus r 2 connects it to the airport. Good area with restaurants and shops very close. 15/20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff nice and helpful. The common areas of the hotel are modern and clean. There's a room for the luggage if you need to keep it before checking in or after checking out. The rooms were spacious and clean. So is the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the breakfast room has a lovely view of the city. The only complain we have is that the room was very hot and the shower head bracket didn't work.

There are hotel chains in the UK that offer a similar level of service to B&B Hotel, but none can do it so well and, seemingly, so effortlessly. The room was clean, as was the hotel generally. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was fresh and constantly refreshed. I hope to visit Salzburg for a longer stay later this year and I will definitely consider B&B Hotel for my accommodation. There is a bus stop right outside and the trip into the centre is a mere twenty minutes.

The hotel location is little away but you can always walk down to the river in 15 min. i did not like the room decor. It was too dark. The hotel room was small. Bathroom had only one gel type. Hotel is good for single day stay.

Booked this hotel for our ski holiday as only 60-90 mins from many ski resorts. Breakfast is amazing with lots of choice and every day had scrambled eggs and bacon plus many other options. Bus too opposite with number 4 bus running about every 20 mins until about 2230 hours. Cost for single is €3 euros. (Only take cash on buses). They also offer a day ticket for €4.50 but not sure if you have to buy this from a machine as didn’t offer on bus. You can buy a return ticket! We never had an issue with parking although the car park was often busy as the Sushi restaurant is very popular. There is also a Chinese buffet restaurant opposite called Huy Cook and Eat. ({€25). Food was good. They offered lots of raw fish and I wasn’t aware that they actually cook it for you! Rooms were cleaned every day and shower was awesome. I would have given this 5 stars but some of the reception staff weren’t very helpful. Eg. Not knowing any information about basic stuff like the buses!

A boutique hotel merely 15 min away from the centre of Salzburg and Airport. The service was amazing and everyone was very helpful and cheerful. The owner himself is very closely involved in the operations of the hotel and it shows how well managed the hotel is and amazing care for all guests. The team is super flexible with every request. The food is delicious and the breakfast spread has many options for vegetarians. The rooms are large and very spacious. Our 17 month old daughter fell sick during our stay and the owner arranged a doctor on call within 15 min of reporting it. Many thanks for an amazing experience, stay and support. I will highly recommend staying at this property. If I am ever in Salzburg, this is where I will stay.

absolutely loved my stay at this place. It's so quaint and unique, you're staying in a house instead of your traditional hotel room. The room was so big and the bed was very comfortable. Enormous bathroom & bathtub and my room looked out into the woods behind the house. Three large windows in the bedroom that let in the most beautiful light, as well as one in the toilet. I didn't get the chance to eat at the restaurant downstairs (they were booked) but it looked super cozy. My room was very quiet and relaxing, even on a weekend, despite some of the comments that rooms are noisy. Cannot say enough great things about my stay and hope to visit again!

The scenery service is good and there is nothing to say about the hotel. The balcony of the room has a view of the lake, and it is not too pleasant to have an afternoon tea. The view of the restaurant is even better, you can see the entire lake area. The only shortcoming is that it is relatively remote. It takes dozens of Euros to take a taxi from the train station. If you take a bus, you have to take a short walk to get to the mountain.

GGuest UserWhen I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

GGuest UserOur room was overlooking the a huge city park just a few minutes walk to the old city. Amazing views and charm are everywhere In Salzburg. The hotel staff was super courteous, our room was enormous with tons of storage and private toilet area separate from the rest of the bathroom. The breakfast was extensive and included, everything from fresh fruits, meats, breads, omelette station, mimosas, coffee bar, etc. Like the grand breakfasts the JW Marriott and Ritz used to have before covid.

GGuest UserThis is a really nice hotel just beside the train station and across the street from the main bus lines that take you everywhere in the City. The room was excellent with a free mini-bar and other nice amenities. It is definitely worth spending more for the higher floor as the view is spectacular. Lot's of mountains on one side and rolling countryside on the other. The staff were all good, check-in and check-out was easy and the breakfast in the morning was tasty with lots of variety. I would definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserSo many choices and option in Salzburg, we eventually decide on NH - 1) it has connecting rooms for family 2) near to old town 3) beautiful and modern room 4) onsite parking and most important very reasonable rate compare to the rest. Totally satisfy with our stay despite the lack of views from our ”roof top” rooms. Base on the price we pay there is no better Hotel in Salzburg.

The cleaning staff of the room still has a lot of room for improvement.
The breakfast staff tries hard but could be trained better.
The reception staff is great.
The bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and bathrobes are of very good quality.
The equipment of the rooms is very good.
Unfortunately there is no wellness area.
Parking is a problem and there is no cooperation with a parking garage.
The breakfast buffet is very generous and I had one of my favorite tomato omelets - it was perfect!

GGuest UserI booked this hotel online after lot of research and went by the brand of ”Best Western”, whose properties I have stayed around the world in the past. However, I would say the experience was much below expectations. Pros 1. Very close to Salzburg train station. It is about 2kms from the station 2. Bus stops are right opposite of hotel so ease of public transport 3. Walking distance to Mirabell Palace and Mozartplatz (main tourist attractions) 4. Several Indian restaurants within walking distance from hotel. 5. I was given a large room so it was good from family point of view 6. Room, bathroom was clean, nice bed, clean bed linen and towels etc 7. Staff at FD was efficient and solved most of our issues quickly. Cons 1. When we checked into room, we noticed that not even electric kettle, tea, coffee was provided in the room. It was provided only after brought into the notice of the front desk. 2. Intercom in the room was not working, so every time you have to go to the FD to inform 3. The room has a very small window at shoulder level, which was quite odd. 4. Salzberg was quite warm during our stay and AC was not working in the room. 5. Breakfast spread was small considering this was a 4 star hotel. 6. The bathroom has peculiar design & it was quite awkward for our Indian sensibilities, that shower enclosure was in glass open to view from all sides from the room. Such arrangement is not suitable if you have older children staying in the same room. We had our 10y old with us and we had to finish our shower before she would wake up. I would rather avoid this hotel in future!!

GGuest UserThe bus to Salzburg is only 15 minutes away, but there are several buses going at the same time, and Hellbrunn or Cable Kata are both on the mountain, so if you have a timetable to go there, you can stay in the hotel, especially if you travel from Take the Flix or Leo bus in Prague or elsewhere. This is the direction from the station to the city, so you can find accommodation earlier because the accommodation is earlier than the city. The staff are friendly and it rains a lot in Salzgan, so I rented an umbrella from the hotel and used it well. The disadvantage is that it is air-conditioned, so I chose this type of accommodation, which is usually not what we think it is, but a fan-like device.
Please note that air conditioning is installed. However, it rained on the day we went, so that air conditioning was not needed. Opening the window and blowing the wind is much cooler than opening the air conditioner. You can open the window, because there are no mosquitoes, it doesn't matter. In addition to the disappointment with the air conditioning, the price is cheaper than the accommodation in Salzburg, so you can take the bus.

CCHU YILocation: I like that bus stops are very near the hotel to go to the popular spots in the city. Far enough from the crowd but not too far from necessities such as supermarket (Billa) and a very good restaurant (Fuxn).
Room: I am completely supportive of hotels not supplying disposables. Be prepared to have your own toiletries!
Only trouble I had was the curtains in my room 110 didn’t close all the way and the balcony was open to occupants of the neighboring rooms. Had to find lots of ways to keep my room covered!
Complimentary bottle of water is per stay, not per day.
I see people complaining about the lighting in the rooms, but I think it’s the theme of the hotel and I personally like the style.
Cleanliness: very satisfied with the daily housekeeping standards!

Good value for money hotel. Very tasteful contemporary decor. Convenient location about 15 minutes level walk from railway station and about 15 minutes level walk to river/Schloss Mirabell and the Old Town on the other side of the river. Friendly/helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Would stay again. Hotel has a great system for checking in after hours, which we really appreciated, as our train was delayed, so a late arrival turned into a middle of the night one!

I stayed there for only one night and it was a quite interesting experience for me because I am not used to this kind of Rustic accommodation. The Building is old and unfortunately, you can hear almost everyone walking by. Even though I booked with breakfast, I didn’t have breakfast because I wanted to sleep a bit more. During check-out ( 11:00 ) I asked if I could have a Coffee To Go. They said, they don’t have Take-Away Cups (which I quess is good for the environment)..... Nevertheless, I didn’t stay much longer and left the Hotel. Overall, a nice Old fashioned Hotel, with a very nice Greek Restaurant nearby. Will I book it again…..Well.......probably not..... I kind a feel that the Hotel prices are high for this kind of accommodation. Free WiFi. Taxis are near by.
