Everyone is so friendly and really know customer service! Rakeim was extra exceptional he had found a phone I lost and tracked me down right as I realized it was missing overall 10/10 would recommend. This hotel really does go above and beyond

We wanted to thank Alejandro for his excellent friendliness, amazing professionalism, exemplary courtesy, and so much more; but words simply don’t do justice to how Alejandro went above and beyond the call of duty. This made us feel like friends and like family. It definitely makes us want to come back to Thompson on San Antonio riverwalk again and again. Alejandro made us feel special and practically gave us an art tour. It felt so wonderful and fun to us, like an exciting scavenger hunt, finding all the art pieces on the various floors. He really made our day. We were all smiles thanks to him. I can’t really relay how pleased, how more-than-satisfied we are, and how appreciative, how humbled we are by his kindness, courtesy, and professionalism. It was a unique and excellent experience and he remains in our thoughts even though we are now home. Please thank Alejandro for us because I am sure we did not thank him nearly enough or ever could because “thank you” just doesn’t cover it.

This was a 2 day stay to celebrate our 47th anniversary. Upon checking my husband explained the occasion and asked if there could be an upgrade. He conceded to switch us from the 7th to the 10th floor on the,side of the building with smaller windows and a mediocre view.This is a tradition for us to spend our anniversary in San Antonio, and over the years managershave sent champagne, a fruit basket, upgrades to a suite and so forth. So it was little bit of a disappointment not to be recognized at all. Thst being said the room was beautiful and decorated with modern art.It was super clean and cold ( a nice respite from the 100 degree heat. The pool area is posh with very comfortable furniture and beautiful views of the city! We visited the 20th floor Daughters Moon for a cocktail toast on our actual anniversary. Very nice, if you dont mind spending $45 for 2 drinks not counting tip. My biggest pet peeve about this hotel is the room is stocked full of over the top expensive items, cookies $12, popcorn $10 tiny bottle wine like $35. We had to put everything in the closet to make room for our own treats that we brought. This feels so unnecessary to be nickled and dimed out the wazoo! Honerable mention was the valet that helped us check out. "Mando". He was absolutely fabulous! So personable, respectful and very helpful. He alone made us want to return! I vote Mondo for hotel manager!

We went for our anniversary & it was perfect! Every staff member was professional, courteous & very friendly.

We had our wedding here on 29 June and the staff was amazing! Mando and the rest of the bellhop and parking crew were extremely helpful with the large amount of things we brought! Our wedding guests can’t stop raving about the food. Thank you all so much for making our wedding weekend amazing!!

We had a great stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything about it was amazing, and the staff could not have been better. Will be returning soon.

Beautiful hotel! Nice pool with a DJ. We had a great dinner at Landslide. Get the lamb tacos the chocolate cake was great too! The room was large with nice western decor! Super attentive staff. The shower products were really nice, I loved the lotions sandalwood scent! Attentive staff!
