The suites are large: a living room area and a separate bedroom. Ours had two TVs, a microwave, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. But the real selling point is there is a wonderful free breakfast daily from 6:30 to 9:30am. The cafe and outside tables allow for plenty of room to enjoy the wide variety of breakfast items, including egg dishes prepared to order. The cafe staff are uniformly friendly. Also from 5:30 to 7:30pm there if Happy Hour in the bar. Beer and wine are free. Sit in the bar or sit out by the pool. If you want a quick hot dog or burger, a barbecue is available and the prices for that food are nominal. The hotel is right off the 101 on Monterey St, which goes right down to the old downtown section. I can't say enough good things about this operation and it is the only place we stay when we visit San Luis Obispo. I have to assume that the management of this hotel knows what they are doing and seems to have employees who are happy and service oriented.

1) my first room’s temp control didn’t wor. I had to repack and go to another room. 2)Room card kept erasing and had to go beck to the desk and get it reloaded 3)lamp on the desk didn’t work. 4) black around the tub caulking. 5)first morning only a couple of muffins. Desk said they expect another delivery soon. No juice. Second morning nothing for breakfast. No compensation. 5) very noisy. Walls are thin. Young adults screaming and yelling parting. 1 o’’’ clock in the morning men outside the room talking loudly we’re as I could here every thing being said. Didn’t want to get dressed and go in the hallway to tell them to shut up. No sleep.

Every Thursday, there is FAMER MARKET, but unfortunately we bought and bought and did not catch up. Seeing the mess on the road, it must be very lively, so sorry. I chose a small town that is more than an hour's drive from the hotel. The price is good. There is free parking and breakfast. The location is right next to the highway, and there are many restaurants nearby. The room is large and the heating is very good. There is a small swimming pool in the hotel.

Very friendly staff and very large, clean rooms. The hotel is pet friendly but we were surprised to find that there was an extra charge upon check in. I was willing to pay the extra but explained to the staff member that it was not mentioned on their website. Because if that she said she would not charge me. I think that was fair. The only thing that could be improved is that they were not yet offering breakfast. But they did have coffee and muffins in the lobby.

There is a free parking lot, and if you arrive early, the car can be parked at the door of your own room. Room facilities are general, the room is not big, I feel that the extra bed must move the big bed, but I don’t know if there is an extra bed service in the hotel. The bed is 1.5 meters wide and just fits 2 people to sleep. The covered quilt is a blanket and there is a blanket below. The big sheets are similar to the way hotels in China were more than a decade ago. Although there are two-package clauses at the time of booking, the breakfast is very simple. Just put a juice machine and coffee machine on the side of the front desk, a snack box, a small fruit bowl, and stand there to eat a snack mat. I am embarrassed to eat too much. This hotel is still ok for a night of walking. I lived on weekends. The price has doubled. If the price is around 400 yuan, the price is still very high.

I requested a 2 night booking. I had no reason to assume that I did not have both nights reserved. The 2nd night I went back to go to bed and my key did not work. I trudged to the office to get it fixed. The clerk was quite cold and informed me I was not booked for the 2nd night. I was adamant that I had booked 2 nites. I got out my iPad and checked my bank acct and I had only paid for 1 nite. I requested that my clothes be returned to me. I was informed they did not have anything that I had left an empty room. I was allowed into the lost and found, but nothing was there. Last summer my home was lost to the huge California fires and i lost all my clothes except what I was wearing that day. What little I have now is all brand new. i barely have any clothing yet. As I'm slowly replacing with quality clothes. I had 2 outfits stolen. 2 silk shirts, a bolo jacket, my new nightgown, 2 pr Levi's and underwear. When I insisted that the clerk speak to someone she threatened me with being arrested for trespassing if I did not leave the property right now. She locked the bldg on me and the 2 others waiting to check in and called the police. I left & ended up sleeping in the car freezing that night. I had my dog with me and could not get another room somewhere.
