Vastaanoton henkilöstö erittäin ystävällisiä. Siivous heikkoa, 2 kertaa viikon aikana huonosti siivottu. Hotelli kaipaa kaikilta osin remonttia. Ääni eristys todella heikko, huoneisiin kuuluu kun ihmiset istuvat yö myöhään allas baarissa. Uimavalvojalle eritys pisteet, todella tarkka koko ajan ja piti yllä allasalueen sääntöjä.

A nice break at Plazamar. The hotel is what you would/should expect for a 3 star all inclusive in my opinion. We travelled as a party of 9 with 2 babies and one young child. The food was lovely. Fresh and tasty. Not the biggest buffet but certainly enough to choose from. It was also clear that the chef's cared about what the guests thought of their food, which was nice to see. I can imagine it may get a bit 'samey' if you're there for 2 weeks but there are plenty of nice restaurants near by if you fancy a change. The staff were generally friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was fine. We also appreciated the 'no music by the pool' rule as it can be irritating to others (headphones do exist). Blandine (the main entertainment host) was lovely and not overpowering as can sometimes be the case in these kinds of hotels. The kids loved her and her patience with them is something I can only aspire to! The main issue for us was noise around the apartments. The complex is on the small side so chances are your room will overlook the stage and bar/seating area. Not as much of a problem if you're allocated to the third level but the ground and first floors are not ideal. The entertainment finished at 10:30 which is fine. But obviously there is continued noise with people enjoying themselves in the bar area. No issue here but some nights this went on until the early hours. It would be nice if the overnight reception supervisor could be a little proactive in checking that people are being respectful to others with young children who may be trying to sleep. Many of the rooms at Plazamar are also adjoining, meaning there is a wooden door in the wall connecting your room to someone else's. Very strange if you've not experienced this before. Also quite loud and bright when the light shines through it. Overall, this is good hotel with a fantastic location. We enjoyed our stay. If you book 3 star and expect 4/5 star you will be disappointed. We thought this was a fine 3 star family break.

We had a nice stay at Plazamar Serenity Resort. We went for self catering but did eat off the menu a few times and the food was lovely. The pools are great for kids including a slide. There is a pool table, table tennis 🏓 amongst other activities. Water polo was fun. We had a large group and kids from 4 - 14 & all were entertained somehow. The staff at reception were so lovely & helpful. Rooms are clean and the maids come every other day. A short walk to the restaurants, bars, beach etc. Another good stay in Santa Ponsa. Only one little negative was our room was right near the lift and at times was noisy with other guests coming and going.

Lovely hotel , nice size to feel friendly and not overbearing or too busy! Never got to the pool at 10 am but always managed to get a sunbed later on. Really nice friendly families when we were there everyone chatting around the pool. Enthusiastic but polite and friendly lifeguard. My kids , 4&7 went to the kids club twice and love Nicki and also Blandine who did a great job wiht the family /kids entertainment in the daytime and evenings. My little boy enjoyed dancing at the mini disco every night. Food for a 3* all inclusive was pretty good and always being refilled. Different roast and grilled meets and fish every day as well as a large rice/pasta dish (plus the usual kids stuff of pizza chicken nuggest etc). Kids also loved the pancakes at breakfast, ice cream counter and the chocolate fountain they had one evening! Really nice beach within 5-10 mine walk . Studio room was clean and spacious, lovely view from 3rd floor also. Only negatives were the birds eating from the tables at meal times (though they do clear tables quickly), the lack of toilets near the poolside (&the ones down the steps aren't the cleanest). Also the receptionist on our arrival seemed more concerned about a personal issue at work she had rather then helping us. She didn't really explain where our room was (luckily the lifeguard directed us) and didn't explain anything about the all inclusive or other facilities (I had to ask questions about some but her answers were far from elaborate). The other female receptionist i saw however was helpful and the male receptionist/night porter was very helpful and friendly. Overall a great holiday and this place provides great value for me as far as I'm concerned.

I am big on reading reviews before going ahead with a holiday resort so I felt it was only fair to give a honest and fare review as I found some reviews are not very helpful. To start I am just back from an all inclusive week At Plazamar serenity apartments, accompanied by two older children and sister. We had two separate bookings and two separate apartments each, both rooms where spacious, clean, the beds are SO comfortable and all rooms have a fridge/cooking area/toaster/kettle/microwave, rooms had amazing air con that could be adjusted with a remote. The rooms also have a pool out sofa bed making the most of the space and could fit another two people in the room due to this. The bathrooms have powerful showers and towels were replaced every second day. The pools split into three sections, one strictly for little ones, with two small water slides, the bigger areas go from shallow to deep end, the shallow end has a water slide. The pools open at 10am (when breakfast ends). Lots of loungers available around the pool. The only down side about the pool was the life guards rules around music and drink/foods around the pool. Very strict and would approach people if they had music playing of eating/drinking in a normal glass or cup rather than the 1 euro cups that the staff issue people with. There is also no information up about the 1 euro cup rule and this led to confusion on the day of arrival as our party gave over four cups at the bar and did not get money or a token back to evidence this and there for was asked to pay a further 4 euro for more cups when we later returned to the bar but we stood our ground as nobody made us aware. Some staff are lovely others are more reserved and blunt. Don’t take it personal! Our family felt the food was very nice, we had breakfast lunch and dinner and we even ordered bar snacks in between which is free if you are all inclusive. Food options for the bar snacks are hot dogs, burger, chips, salads, onion rings , pizza, ice cream, slushies and a couple of other things! Breakfast has options for eggs three ways, bacon sausages, beans, crepes, churros, fruit, cereals, nuts, seeds and dried fruits, pastries. Yoghurt and much more, lunch was often chips, pizza, fish, cakes, chicken scewers, a lot of options the list could go on, there is a salad station to creat your own salads, a lot of fresh breads and cake selections. I did see some gluten free options too. Dinner always had meats and fish cooked fresh on the grill, which you can wait for a fresh one if heat is a priority. There was always options for fussy eaters like chicken nuggets, pasta and sauces to add yourself. The drinks are all great options too. Sangria/wines and beer on tap, fizzy and fresh juice options and a Nescafé coffee machine. You won’t go hungry that is for sure. The only down side for dinner was that the birds often hovered around the dining area. The staff are very attentive and clean up after your meals very quickly. The only

Stayed for a week in 1 bed apartment self catering, can’t fault it was a bit worried after a few bad reviews but honestly great little hotel. Pool didn’t open till 10 so no reserving sun beds at mad hours also plenty of sun beds even when arriving back to hotel later in the day 2/3pm could get some. Rooms are huge and cleaned every second day. Mini disco at 8:30 and evening show then at 9:30 entertainment great for the kids. The lady that does mini disco also does activities during the day with kids and she is brilliant all the kids loved her. Close walk to beach probably 5 mins and restaurants and shops 2/3 mins lots of really nice restaurants all near the hotel. Small supermarket 2 mins with everything you need and fresh bread rolls daily. Overall very happy with hotel and if I was to come back to Santa ponsa it would be my go to. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful.

Just got back from a ten day family break. We did self catering and the studios were great. Spacious, light and the aircon worked perfectly. Plenty of space for a family of 4. The aircon unit on our balcony didn’t bother us at all. Studios were clean, and when we were arrived the cleanliness of the room was something we noticed straight away. The rooms are then cleaned every other day - the cleaning after this is very basic but sufficient. It would have been good if apartments had brushes to sweep up and if some washing up liquid could have been included - we brought some from home but not enough. There are shops nearby but things are expensive. Nikki who runs the kids club is lovely and my children loved the couple of hours across 2 days they spent with her. Wished we had found out about the kids club earlier on as the children were desperate to go back. They played games, sang, danced, played with toys, painted pictures and had their faces painted. Blandine did a great job of organising things for the children to do and they always looked forward to it. Both Nikki and Blandine always remembered my children’s names and were very welcoming. The lifeguard was very attentive. I wish some of the staff on reception had been as friendly. When we left to go home a lady just handed me a questionnaire to fill in - no goodbye, thank you, have you had a good holiday, safe travels - nothing! The pool was clean and safe for young children. The extra inflatables left out each day were used by all children. There were always lots of sunbeds. They were often sandwiched close to other families due to limited space. The entertainment on an evening was good. Just a shame it has to finish early but apparently this is due to local residents and noise. The position of the hotel is ok and within walking distance to a small shop, restaurants and bars. If you do want a drink and don’t want to have to walk to the shop you can get one at the hotel - but personally we found their prices steep. €2 for a small bottle of water. €4 for a small beer. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. We would come back and would recommend this place to families with young children.
