The hotel is located in the bustling location of downtown San Diego, and all kinds of travel methods are very convenient. The hotel room is very large, basically it can be regarded as a suite. The decoration of the whole hotel is very classic and very distinctive. Great value. It's a waste for me to live alone

Following a 12-day cruise, my husband, brother-in-law, and his wife stayed at this hotel. We sought a place in the heart of the city, close to the airport, to explore before returning to the United States. The restaurant felt like dining in someone's home, offering fabulous food and service. The complimentary breakfast was perfect, featuring delicious danishes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit. Don’t forget to grab a bag of coconut cookies to your room. Upstairs, there is a rooftop dining area with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. Don't miss the chance to enjoy a glass of Carmenera wine; the brand they offer is exceptional. We dined exclusively at the hotel as we didn't feel the need to venture out. The grape-scented lotion provided by the hotel was fantastic. The stain glass hanging noting a different wine on each floor is classy. The front desk staff was helpful and arranged transportation for us, which was reassuring given the government's notice of a high crime rate. Though we couldn't recall everyone's names, here are some of the individuals who made our stay fabulous: Andrea, Erica, Carina, Raul, and Rosa Elena.

We enjoyed our stay here. Our room #34 was spacious and comfortable with a nice sitting area. One quibble is that one of our windows had metal security shutters blocking the light in half of the room. The location is excellent for walking to the main attractions. The area felt quite safe . The breakfast was very good with a selection of hot and cold foods, juices, and delicious pastries. The rooftop restaurant was lovely with great cocktails, fabulous food and friendly staff!

We ended up having booked the suite, the largest room in the hotel. I was not even aware of that. The room was great, although extremely noisy at night. The AC didn’t work very well and the room was too warm. We open the windows which helped, but then the noise pollution was severe. The breakfast was adequate although if you didn’t get there by 8 to 815 they ran out of things and did not replace them. We met a couple who had just arrived from the airport. They had taken a cab and the driver charged two credit cards over $3000 each. It was quite stressful as you can imagine although in the end everything worked out. A Viking rep met our flight and took us to a place close y in the airport where it said official taxi and she made sure we got in one of those. The cost was $24 from the airport to this hotel and we gave him a three dollar tip. Be sure if you go to Santiago that you find out where the official taxis are located so that you don’t get scammed. Somewhere in Santiago, I was robbed of approximately $150. It probably did not take place in the hotel, but I don’t know for sure. Be very careful when you are there. I have no idea when or where the robbery took place. I just assumed that person needed it more than I did, which helped.
