Modern venue with a colonial charm...Right in the middle of the most magical place in the country Santo Domingo where what we know as America was born. A can't miss place for those wishing to combine the modern feel with the mystique of centuries past.

My recent stay at Hotel Bellini left much to be desired. Despite our pre-arrival request for a room on the first floor, which was confirmed by the concierge, we were allocated a small room on the second floor upon arrival. This discrepancy in accommodation was a disappointing start to our stay, setting the tone for what was to come.
The overall service at Hotel Bellini was frustratingly slow. Whether it was waiting for assistance at the front desk or for our meals to be served, it seemed like time moved at a glacial pace within the confines of this establishment.
To add insult to injury, the quality of the food was abysmal. Even simple items like croissants, which one would expect to be a staple of a decent breakfast, were burnt to a crisp. Our breakfast experience was further marred by having to send back our eggs not once, but twice, due to them being improperly prepared.
What's particularly disheartening is that we had stayed at Hotel Bellini the year prior and did not encounter such dismal service and culinary mishaps. It's evident that there has been a significant decline in the standards of this establishment since our last visit.
Overall, our experience at Hotel Bellini was a far cry from satisfactory. From the failure to fulfill our room request to the unpalatable dining options, it's safe to say that we won't be returning anytime soon.

I upgraded to stay in a room with a private plunge pool, the pool was broken on arrival, it took them over a day to fix and clean it, then when we started using it - we were asked to stop as it was using too much power, I would not have upgraded to this room type had I known I wouldn't have been able to use it at all. the room was clean enough, but not comfy, the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming, we were one of very few couples there over the weekend, and it didn't feel hospitable, despite them not being busy

Not all the terrace rooms are the same. Mine was right next to a walkway to one of the restaurants and had little privacy. Overall a very nice room though. Loved the bluetooth speaker!
North americans may be surprised by the little water pressure in the shower.

El Hotel no está preparado para brindar un buen descanso, no dieron habitación que da a la calle donde hay bares, restaurantes y vehículos es imposible dormir ya que las ventanas no tienen aislante acústico pésimo!!! Además hicieron una boda en medio de todas las habitaciones con saxofonista, pastor y a las cuatros de la tarde full de gente no podíamos descansar por la música y ruido. Además era casi imposible ingresar a la habitación. Esto es una falta de respeto deben definir si es hotel o salón de eventos, la puertas cierran de golpe lo que ocasiona un fuerte ruido cada vez que alguien ingresa o sale de su habitación. No ha sido una buena experiencia por este ambiente totalmente incómodo. El personal si es muy amable y se les nota preocupados por estos problemas.

Pretty boutique hotel in Zona Colonial. Beautiful roof top with a lovely view of the nearby church. Maybe a tad loud on weekends. The inner courtyard amplifies the sounds from the ground floor. Very prompt service staff. Room was in a top notch condition.

Service is 5 star. The staff are what makes the place. The only place to stay in the Dona Colonial.
