Family-friendly Hotels in Shanghai

First of all I book to this hotel for the amenities and location . The room is nice and comfortable , although for a 5 star hotel I found a problem in my shower and I told the reception . The swimming pool is good but the water was cold and there’s a dangerous stair to get into it . Gym was great but they only open at 9 am , so business guys who want to work out before going to work , won’t be benefited . Breakfast was good but I missed to have cheese and pancakes .

Hotel service is good. Room is big and clean. location is brilliant across Nanjing shopping belt and the metro is just a short walk away. There’s a Macdonalds beside the hotel and KFC/ 7-11 across the street. We totally enjoyed our stay with Marriott.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Jing'an, and I must say that the front desk service was truly exceptional. Check-in was a breeze, and they handled all the formalities with speed and accuracy. The front desk team was always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. They provided detailed and useful information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions, which greatly enhanced my stay. Their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction were truly commendable. What impressed me the most was their friendly and personalized approach. They remembered my name and preferences, which made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Overall, the front desk service at Pullman Jing'an was outstanding. It was a key factor in making my stay a memorable and enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel to others, especially for the top-notch service provided by the front desk team.

We have moved from Nanjing Street and stayed at this beautiful Blossom House Shanghai on the Bund for 2 nights. We booked a corner room with curved glass overlooking the river on the 12th floor. The room was clean and the view was great, we could see the Pearl Tower. Unfortunately, it rained all day when we stayed, so it was a different experience. It takes about 2-3 minutes to walk to the river and you can walk to Yi Yuan Park from the hotel. The service was very good. The staff greeted us with warmly welcome smiles

I could walk to Waitan and see the Oriental Pearl Tower from my hotel room, which was great location. It was nice to have a lot of sightseeing spots to walk around and to enjoy using the city tour bus. However, I think the breakfast was not as good as I thought. And the very small size pool and the overall slightly old facility. What surprised me the most was the bathroom in the room where I stayed. I think the bathroom needs some improvement. Mirrors are installed on one wall of the bathroom..I think the people who have been there will have been so surprised by the bathroom like me. Why should a front mirror be on one side of a wall in the bathroom? Of course, I'm not sure if it's in the room I stayed in or in every other room... I was surprised.

Very convenient location, a few minutes walk from Jing’an Temple station (take exit 10) and directly across the road from another mall. Lots of good and cafe options, Beaton coffee next door does very nice coffees and there is a cute little old school cafe next to that. The hotel lobby is very grand, the swimming pool has a sauna and steam room, which was nice. There is also a 24/7 gym, all on the 5th floor. The room itself had a nice view and was clean, with a comfortable bed. However, the most noticeable thing is the smell when you first enter the room, I believe other guests have commented on this. While you do eventually get used to the smell, this isn’t exactly pleasant and may be due to the old carpeting (and a need for a refurbishment), it is definitely not the fault of the cleaning staff. Strange as the corridors do not smell at all. The other issue is the bottled water tastes a little odd. Apart from that this is a good hotel in a very central location with good amenities.

Exceptional service from all staff, especially Ricky when checking in and Stephen from the conceirge who gave excellent tips and constantly so helpful and patient during our stay. We booked the club package and enjoyed it thoroughly. Love the afternoon tea and evening cocktail and snacks. It was amazing, though we prefer the wider varieties of breakfast at the lobby in the morning than the lounge. Rooms are spacious and very clean but could see some parts are dated. Love especially the Japanese toilet, with warm seat function. The mattress is extremely comfortable and to our liking. Love the excellent location, center of everything. Also was really fun to have a ride in the pink London Taxi that our package provided, the kids enjoyed the ride. Highly recommend and will definitely my only address in Shanghai. Also not to forget the excellent swimming facilities in Langham and our kids could even book private swimming classes. The teacher is excellent and could help our kids fine tune their skills and could see immediate results. The jaccuzi is larger than expected and water temperature is warm.

We had very good stay in this Pullman. Well located close metro, shopping mall and Tizinfang small streets. Front office was always very helpfull with any request i raised. Especially Zhou Kang help us to find for us one specific exhibicionismus in shanghai. Also Thanks to him we got our room earlier and it really helped us to survive our first day after long journey. Swimming pool is good one, reasonable size, just bring cap. We also liked Executive lounge with good variety of foods and drinks. Breakfast server till 10:30 also helped ;-). I can only recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai from June 4-6, 2024. The hotel’s location on the Bund is perfect for exploring Shanghai's vibrant cityscape. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. A personal greeting from the General Manager added a special touch that made me feel truly valued. My room was luxurious and well-appointed, offering a breathtaking view of the city. The breakfast was superb, with a diverse selection of delicious options. I also had a memorable dining experience at their restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding. Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai provided an exceptional stay, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

HOTEL is very good, the staff were helpful especially GARRY on the first floor, speaks good English. Room is very spacious, the bathroom water pressure was awesome. Spent a night. The phone network is terrible probably coz of the high floors, slept on 75th floor, we enjoyed our stay and it was worth every single Penny. Would choose it again. Thanks
