I have nothing but great things to say about my stay here. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was warmly welcomed with drink and snacks. What was unique - they had three sets of toiletries to choose from. My family could choose the one they like. Room was clean and big enough for the 4 of us. There were also complimentary fruits, snacks and goodnight dessert. When I asked for where I could do my laundry, my dedicated ‘butler’ was quick to offer that they do them for me and they were promptly handed back to me the following day. If I could rate them 10 stars I would 🤩. Their warmth and service was just great !

Located within ancient city and a short bus ride to Songzhanling Monastery. No lack of F&B and supermarket, pharmacy within walking distance from Inn. Clean room. Service is good and friendly. Toilet seems to have some leaking though, floor is always wet even before we shower. Water pressure of shower is relatively good. Breakfast is local noodle soup or western toast, eggs and yoghurt with fruits. Both are delicious.

There is no air conditioning in the room as the area in Shangri-La generally is colder. There is heater and the blanket also have heating capability. The flow rate in the bathroom was great, constant warmed water. There is many shows available on the tv set.

Stayed in a shared room with 4 other solo travellers. The room was comfortable and the communal toilets was surprisingly very clean. The hosts is a married couple, a Korean (husband) and a local (wife). The Korean could converse in English and recommended me to hike Abuji Cuo which was one of the most beautiful places in Shangri-La and I'm glad I heeded his recommendation. The wife was also very helpful and had a brother who was driving Didi. I managed to make some new friends during the Abuji Cuo hike and we hired the brother's services for the entire day the next day and he brought us around Napahai Lake, Songzanlin Monastery and even recommeded a really good lunch place where locals frequent. Would definitely choose this hostel again if I'm back in Shangri-La and also recommend this to my family and friends!

They are very helpful and friendly, on our arrival they drove a pick up truck to carry our luggages to the hotel as the entrance of the old city prohibited vehicles from driving in. They also recommended nearby nice restaurant to us and video call us to guide us back to the hotel. Furthermore, their room has amazing views with direct visibility of the Du Ke Zong temple! We enjoyed our stay there so much thanks to the both of them!

The eldest brother drove to the airport early in the morning to arrange a pick-up. The service was very considerate and he also gave a lot of travel advice. The view from the room was really first-class. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I felt integrated with nature. The overall facilities were very new and complete, and the whole room provided heating and oxygen, so there was no need to worry about altitude sickness. Although the breakfast was simple, you could eat rice noodles. Overall, it was really a five-star service. The eldest brother also helped to see you off. The hotel dog was also smart and cute and would accompany you to visit the grassland! Except that it was not particularly convenient to travel, it was really recommended if you wanted to be isolated from the world. I would come back again in winter to see the snow!

Noted** this is the most very comfortable hotel that I've stay in the trip, for those who worries about toilet, the hotel has smart toilet with the automatic spray bidet system to clean without using any toilet paper (And of course we can select the temperature of water and level of the water pressure) I've book the Leisure Suite City View with the 2 queensize beds, floor heating and 1 living room with the fascinating view of Guishan Temple. Lastly, the hospitality of the hotel host and staffs are super nice!! I'm so impressed
Don't worry about speaking Chinese, you can use google translate (for roaming sim) and Wechat translate to communicate with them!!

Awesome stay. We have only good things to say about this accommodation. Firstly, the location was absolutely perfect with easy car access and within short walking distance to the old town. Most importantly, the boss was very helpful and welcoming. We were thankful that he went above and beyond in helping to link us up for our tour transport which made it a seamless experience. Room was well designed, spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

My partner and I stayed at the Shangri La Shangri La Shangri Ge Yuan Shangri Resort Meisu Hotel for a weekend and spent a peaceful mountain vacation. The hotel is located in a mountainous area with a very peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the guest rooms are not particularly spacious, they are very warm and the beds are comfortable. Employees are friendly and thoughtful, always willing to provide information and advice. The hotel's restaurant offers delicious ******* cuisine, especially the impressive breakfast. We particularly like the hotel terrace, which allows us to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountainous area and is very suitable for relaxation. Although the hotel is relatively remote, it is an ideal choice for those seeking tranquility and mountain vacations.

Then when we left, the boss got up at 6 o'clock in the morning to take us to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, the boss helped us get in touch with us to take a ride to the Meili Snow Mountain to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. We arrived at the B&B and drank fruit and butter tea! The sanitary environment is very good! The equipment is all brand new and said to be newly opened this year! Highly recommend everyone to stay here

MMiguelThis is one of those cases where they clearly tried to do more then what they knew... Let's start by the positives: it's a nicely looking hotel, with a pleasant design and good looking rooms. The rooms are well equipped for comfort but comfort I didn't have.... Several things didn't work as they should: first the toilet was one of those automatic toilets that are now everywhere in mid range hotels in China, but this one would just flush all the time as soon as you got near to it. And the flush was too strong so some water would sprinkle out, which is annoying if it's dirty water... The bed mattress was heated quite strongly (which was not necessary because the room had floor heating) so we tried everything to turn it off without success. We really tried everything.. We were sweating so much that we even decided to remove the room card from the card holder to unpower everything... But believe it or not, it didn't work... another annoying thing is that the shower had no separation to the toilet. So when you shower, you wet the toilet and the floor all around the toilet so every time you go to the toilet you get wet feet, and then when you step with wet feet on the room floor you get dirty feet as the room floor was not perfectly clean. Btw the room floor was also a bit uneven which seem to be an effect of the floor heating which was a bit too strong in some points. Ah, also the TV didn't work which they offered to fix but I declined.
All of these are minor, but I would prefer not to have these extra 'conforts' if they don't work properly.
Otherwise the service was good, they tried to be helpful and the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood.

GGuest UserThis trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge is very worthwhile. The happiest and happiest thing is to meet Tingtao Yage. There were many children staying that day. Our children had a lot of fun and were super happy. They didn't want to leave. The daughter of the owner of Tingtao Yage is only eight years old. She is super capable. She serves tea and water to guests and looks like an adult. I must give her a thumbs up. Their service is really great. They took the initiative to call us, carefully explained the precautions, added WeChat, and informed us of the road conditions in time. It was no problem to drive slowly on the rural road that was a few hundred meters into the village. The room was very clean, the quilt was dry, and I slept very comfortably. You can eat the fruits on the trees at will. They are a super generous family. If I have time in the future, I will definitely come here and stay for a few months.

The guest service staffs and owner are very helpful, to help me with oxygen supply, warm water, and sweets. They are friendly and helpful, warm enough to remember each in house guest.
Room and hotel are clean, neat and new. Location is great, just 10 mins to ancient town and nearby 3 to 5 minutes walk you may found local restaurants and rent for tranditional cloths which super convinience.
I will recommend to my friend and family, and my next visit.

The room I was staying in was nice and cozy. In the day time I could soak in sunlight while looking out on the mountains, at night time I got warm from the AC and warm blankets. In the common room they also have a traditional fire oven where you can sit at get warm while trying some of their local foods and chit chat.
Just staying in this nice environment made the trip so amazing. I hope I can come back soon again.

GGuest UserA great place with authentic tranquil atmosphere! Tibet GH is a family run business. The owners took great care of us: arranged transportation to and from the airport, picked us by car after hiking, gave great tips about exploring the area, and generally made us feel extremely welcomed.
The room was cozy and comfy, with amazing view.
Traditional ******* breakfast was delicious, plus Mama packed us lunch free of charge on the last day.
The guesthouse has dining options - delicious. One of the nights we were treated to a barbecue 😊
It's very conveniently located for Lower and Middle Gorge hiking, and they can arrange transportation for further sightseeing.

GGuest UserDecent stay with all necessary amenities provided. Sound-proofing of the room isn’t good. We can hear chatting from the next door loudly at night, as well as electric vehicles driving up and down the alleys.
Hotel is located in the ancient town so it’s convenient to move around for food and souvenirs. However, it’s located uphill so coming back it’s always a test of stamina.
Do contact the hotel prior arriving so that you can get them to transport big luggage using their electric vehicle.

NNana95I have been looking forward to staying here ever since i started my 12 day china trip and it was one of the best lodging ive had. The view was amazing. The bed was heated, and got two blankets per person which makes it super cozy. The walls were thin so could hear people on the side of our room 😂
Though the bathroom was separated but it got compensated with an amazing view. The lady who was handling the check in could be friendlier though. But other than that, the staff at the restaurant was so welcoming and super helpful though they dont speak english. And they thought me a little chinese too! Thanks 😆
I would definitely book here again if i ever come here. It’s all i ever talk about with my husband ever since we got back from our trip.

RRonaldThis was the nicest hotel during our China trip start of May 2024. The rooms are spacious, the beds have perfect matrasses, Rooms are heated and have a humidifyer as the air is very dry in Shangri-La. The exterior and interior are ******* style. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Short walking distance from the main square and streets and 3 minutes walk from the street where to take a taxi. Very quiet at night. First choice in Shangri-la when we make it back.
