We had a really good experience during our checkin at the hotel. The manager, Vivian went to our bedroom to make sure we are comfortable. When we mentioned the weather was too dry, she got her staff to bring a humidifier for our room. The humidifier help us a lot. Our room had a beautiful mountain view. The next day, Vivian even gave us a late checkout for our hi speed train back to Kunming was at 4:15 pm. The best part was after touring Pudacuo National Park, we came back to the hotel at 2:30 pm and needed lunch for we were hungry before we catch the train back. The hotel restaurant chef has gone for his break. Vivian went to the extend of calling the chef back to cook for us. We had a good meal before we went to the train station. Her service was really incredible. Kudos to Vivian for making our stay in Shangri La so comfortable and meaningful! I would highly recommend staying at Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Shangri La.
