The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Food was outstanding and the restaurant/bat staff was very nice. The front desk staff was not that friendly, and a bit snobby. The power went off twice and the water run out twice as well. Hotel is definitely old school. Didn’t feel welcome most of the time.

Our second stop in our Summer holidays was very rich in Villa Cortin Palace Hotel. Beautiful old palace that was converted to a hotel that is very well kept. The simplicity of the staff and their candid care for their guests were memorable. The views from the different angles in the property of Lake Garda were breathtaking taking. Walking into town was a rich experience. Food was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Wat een prachtig hotel! De weg er naartoe is al een feest. Dwars door Sirmione. Het hotel is een oude villa met fantastisch aangelegde tuinen en uitzicht. Fijn zwembad en een vlonder aan het meer. We lunchten gegrilde vis aan het meer en dineerden in beide restaurants. Heerlijk eten en geweldige service. We zullen nog lang nagenieten.

This is a wonderful property on Lake Garda, with a very nice garden, walking grounds, private dock, within very easy walking distance to the old town. Rooms are nice. We had an older room from the original villa. Breakfast offering is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

진입로가 많이 좁고 사람이 많은데 길이 그곳뿐이니 어쩔수 없네요
며칠 더 쉬고 싶었지만 다음 일정이 있어서 아쉬웠습니다

Fantastisch hotel! Overal waar je kijkt is het gewoon prachtig: de tuin met zicht op het meer, het gebouw zelf, de ontbijtruimte-en restaurants, de kamer, alles gewoon. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het ontbijt is zo goed! Ook ‘s avonds kan je bijna niet in een mooiere setting dineren. Ondanks we er pal in het hoogseizoen verbleven, was er zoveel rust en kalmte. Exact wat we nodig hadden. Dit hotel is elke euro die je eraan spendeert helemaal waard.

I was hesitant to book after reading mixed reviews but overall we had a wonderful three night stay. Pros 1. Stunning hotel and peaceful/ extensive grounds with panoramic views of the lake on both sides. 2. Very friendly and professional staff (big shout out in particular to reception, valets and pool guys). 3. Wonderful food (particularly breakfast). We also enjoyed Maria Callas American Bar and Restaurant - open all day, great food, service and reasonable prices. The concierge also recommended some excellent restaurants in Sirmione. 4. Loved the pool and pontoon. 5. We enjoyed activities - bike rides, boat trip and strolling around Sirmione. Cons 1. Sirmione is very busy at this time of year so driving through the crowds in the Old Town is a little challenging - the smaller the car the better! 2. Minor irritants in room (Junior Suite) - small shower (which did not drain well), poor WiFi, no international TV channels and no beer in the minibar! But otherwise beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable bed.
