Harbin Spa Hotels

I stayed at this hotel for four days while visiting Harbin, and it was truly comfortable and offered great value for money. It's not too far from St. Sophia Cathedral or Central Street in the city center, making it convenient to get around. The smart toilet and Mousse mattress were indeed very comfortable. The cleaning staff kept the room spotless every day, which I really appreciated! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Harbin!

Traveling to Harbin, I chose Aoluguya among many hotels. Although it's a bit far from the city's scenic spots, it's still acceptable, about fifteen to twenty minutes by car. The surroundings are quiet and more comfortable than staying in a tourist area; it's not noisy at all. Moreover, the hotel environment is truly excellent. The main thing is that the staff's attention to detail is outstanding. From the concierge at the door, to the lobby, the restaurant, and the room service staff, everyone is very attentive. They're proactive and on the ball. They specifically told me the welcome fruit would be delivered to the room later, but it never arrived during my three-day stay ☹️↔️ but that's alright. Check-in was handled by a handsome guy named Echo, who was very efficient and clearly explained all the hotel and room details in a short time. There was also a lady who walked around each check-in desk, constantly monitoring customer interactions. This level of detail is something I've only experienced in luxury diamond-rated hotels in other cities; many five-star hotels fall far short. And the gentleman with glasses at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant every day, who I assume is a manager (didn't catch his name), was always enthusiastic and thoughtful. The other restaurant staff, including the chefs at the food stations, also had a particularly pleasant attitude. It's truly impressive to maintain such a work ethic, especially during the peak National Day holiday season. Even when the breakfast area was crowded, it wasn't chaotic, and food was replenished very promptly. Noodles and dumplings were almost always available without waiting. The chefs at the stations were particularly good at explaining the dishes, unlike some hotels where staff get grumpy and act like the world owes them something if they get a little busy. I really can't fault this hotel on these points. If I had to mention a small flaw, it would be this: when I'm consulting or discussing something, I express my thoughts and needs very clearly. I then expect the other person to also communicate clearly with me, instead of just saying, ”This is hotel policy, we have rules.” Every hotel and every place has its own rules, which is normal. But every rule has a purpose and a rationale behind it. At the very least, you can explain what the rule is for and what its objective is. As a customer, I'm not unreasonable. I'm communicating with you politely and understandingly, and my requests aren't overly excessive. Even if it slightly deviates from your rules, you can explain why. Don't just keep saying ”rules, rules.” This kind of empty expression is completely unconvincing and only makes the customer uncomfortable. I've seen many disputes and arguments between hotel staff and customers that stem from this: the customer says something, and the staff just says ”rules,” but can't explain why the rules are there. Who can feel good about that? On this point, Echo at the front desk and the gentleman with glasses in the restaurant were excellent and very professional. In their communication, a single sentence would clarify the meaning of the rule, and your questions would naturally be resolved. Unlike some of the younger female staff who only say ”rules” without explaining anything else, leaving customers with questions and frustration, making them feel like they've committed a grave sin for not conforming to the ”rules.” These are just minor imperfections, and I hope everyone can continue to improve. Overall, the hotel is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Harbin.

We upgraded to a panoramic river view room, and the river view was absolutely stunning! It was beautiful from the moment we woke up, and the sunset was also gorgeous. The scenery was great, the pool was excellent, and the service was wonderful. The price was also reasonable. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with complete facilities. The smart home system was also thoughtfully designed and convenient to use. The hotel's location near Harbin Engineering University makes transportation easy, and there are plenty of local specialty restaurants nearby.

I specifically chose to stay at the Sofitel Harbin, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained the hardware is. Even though the hotel has been open for many years, all the facilities are regularly inspected and maintained. Our front desk agent, Delia, was wonderful. All the in-room electronics and bathroom water flow worked perfectly, showing no signs of aging or malfunction. The heated pool and gym are well-equipped and the equipment is meticulously maintained. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The overall environment is peaceful, and the hygiene standards are high. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the service is professional and attentive. It's clear the hotel management is very dedicated. Highly recommended.

Facilities: Very good. Since it's the off-season, some pools are under maintenance and not all are open, but there are still enough to use. Cleanliness: Very clean. The water in the hot spring pools is crystal clear. Service: All the staff I encountered were very warm and friendly. The waitress selling drinks and ice cream in the hot spring area was especially thoughtful. I accidentally bumped and injured my leg, and she proactively helped me get ice and a towel for a cold compress, and kept asking if I needed any further assistance with genuine concern.

The room was clean and tidy, and super close to Central Avenue. They even gave us a free late check-out! The front desk staff were very patient and helped us with everything, especially since it was our first time here and we didn't know anything.

The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the view outside the window was fantastic! There was a cute little notice about tiny ladybugs in the room, which was a novel experience for city kids who rarely see them 🐞. The hotel has a hot spring on the first floor, which was incredibly relaxing after a day of skiing. The staff were all very friendly; Ms. Wang from the rose pool even brought us water. This hotel is really great for families!

We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

The room was awful clean. The carpet was incredibly dirty, and there were broken bottles under the cabinets. I have no idea how they cleaned the place. The children's bed sheets were torn. Blood stains were visible on the quilt. The wallpaper was moldy. Many of the water park facilities were rusty. It looked filthy. The experience was terrible. The elevator didn't go directly to where you were going, leaving you feeling lost. The payment cards weren't universal. Some places required you to scan a WeChat QR code to pay, while others required you to swipe your card. The cleanliness of the Shuihui area was terrible. There was no cleaning. People were taking seats. The staff didn't care. They looked fancy, but they had absolutely no attention to detail. I would definitely not recommend this place to a friend, and I won't be back. For the price, the service was lacking, and the quality was lacking.
