"When choosing this hotel, I saw reviews claiming it was the best in the seaside area, but my overall experience was quite average.
Firstly, the parking lot design was extremely flawed. After parking in the underground garage, there was no elevator to the upper floors; we had to carry our luggage up the stairs before we could use the elevator. Since most hotel guests bring suitcases, and we had a child and a stroller with us, this was incredibly inconvenient. I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. The hotel design was also strange. The VIP reception was on the fifth floor, unlike typical hotels where you're greeted in the lobby. Our experience from the parking lot to the fifth floor was unpleasant, and the facilities didn't match the price.
Secondly, regarding service, the overall experience was very average. Aside from one staff member at the fifth-floor reception, we barely encountered any hotel staff. We even had to walk to the adjacent reception building for breakfast. The previous night, we stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shenxianju, where the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. In comparison, our experience at the VIP hotel was a stark contrast, even though the VIP room rate was significantly higher than the DoubleTree by Hilton. A reviewer added us on WeChat the day before check-in, but it was essentially just for recording our license plate. The booking confirmation mentioned a complimentary gift, and reviews also confirmed it was included, but we didn't receive one upon check-out.
Regarding the facilities, the hotel is quite old, and some are dated, but the rooms were generally decent. There was welcome fruit upon entry, and a late-night bowl of noodles was served, which tasted good.
Overall, this experience was very average. I had high expectations for the hotel based on the reviews, but the actual experience was quite disappointing. For the price, I'm not satisfied with the experience."

QinchenThis is a newly opened hotel, and the room was very spacious. They even upgraded us during the May Day holiday, and the service was excellent. We couldn't move the beds ourselves, but a staff member helped us put them together. The breakfast was also delicious! The location is super convenient, right in the city center. The only downside is that since it's a new hotel, there was a slight smell of renovation when we first entered the room.

Facilities: The smart toilet is great, and the decoration style is great. The soundproofing of the room is not very good, the smart voice is average, and some facilities are not connected. The breakfast is not bad, with many varieties.

Guest UserI checked in late at night, and there was a minor issue at first, but Managers He and Li Kaibin were quick to respond and offered a very satisfactory solution. My stay was excellent, and I'll definitely come back next time. The overall experience was great, the breakfast was plentiful, and it's very close to the North Gate. Highly recommended!

The biggest surprise of the trip was finding a hotel with such a warm atmosphere 💛 The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby, making getting around quick and easy.
From the moment I entered, I was filled with positive feelings. The lobby was elegant and clean, and the staff were polite and friendly, answering questions meticulously and patiently, making me feel incredibly welcome.
The room was cozy and comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable, giving me complete peace of mind.
The experience was so warm and comforting; I've already added it to my favorites and will definitely bookmark this hotel for future trips. I highly recommend it!

Tonic_I arrived at the hotel quite late, so I didn't get to experience most of its special features.
Pros:
1. The hotel and room decor are tastefully done and the style is very appealing.
2. The bedding quality is excellent, with a high thread count, making it incredibly comfortable – a rare find in China.
Cons:
1. The room signage is pretty poor; finding my way back to the room often felt like navigating a maze.
2. The staff-to-guest ratio is extremely low. Arriving in the evening, there was practically no service available.
3. The check-in wait time was excessively long. Given that it wasn't peak check-in time and there weren't many guests, this was quite unusual.
4. Despite checking in late, my request for a late checkout was denied with the reason 'fully booked.' Perhaps I've been spoiled by other hotels, but I don't think checking out at 2 PM is an unreasonable request. Even if the hotel is full, internal coordination could surely accommodate guest needs. Using this as a refusal only makes me feel the hotel's management is subpar, and I see no reason to return to see if their service has improved.
5. Breakfast was quite mediocre. The croissants were delicious, but everything else was just okay. The only live cooking station for noodles managed to produce something identical to instant ramen.

Facilities: The hotel is quite new. The room not only provided an air purifier but also a humidifier with added fragrance. As soon as we entered the room, a lovely scent filled the air – a big plus. The toilet being a separate room was also excellent.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, no issues there.
Environment: This is the hotel's biggest selling point. Nestled by the mountains, every step reveals a beautiful view, especially the small stream in front of the hotel. The weather was already quite warm during our stay, so we could easily go wading and swimming in the stream. The water was very clean, and you could even see fish. What's even better are the paddleboarding and kayaking activities the hotel partners with. My son unlocked a new skill and played for a whole morning! Although it cost 260, my son and I played for half a day, so it was definitely worth the price. The instructor was fantastic, teaching us how to paddleboard and even letting us play overtime.
Service: A special thank you to our butler, Angela, for her excellent service. She not only informed us about hotel activities via WeChat but also recommended many nearby attractions and dining spots. She even gave us two days of complimentary breakfast for my child. Her service awareness is truly outstanding.

The room was spacious, especially the ensuite bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a rich selection of Taizhou specialties. There's really no need to follow the trending online food posts; they don't really reflect the experience. It's best to just have breakfast at a local hotel. My two-night stay was very comfortable. The only problem was the pool, which was probably closed to the public, wasn't very pleasant. There were a lot of children learning to swim, and the pool itself was small, so it felt a bit crowded.

The standard is very high for the National Day price, but as far as the room is concerned, it's a four-star hotel. It's clean, spacious and comfortable, and the food in the hotel's tea restaurant is delicious.
The only drawback is that there is only a washing machine and no dryer.

Sanmen is very small, and it is said that this hotel is considered good in Sanmen. The hotel is newly decorated (although the materials feel too ordinary), the room is quite large, and the service of the girl at the front desk is good. It was a bit busy during the Spring Festival, but the attitude was still very good. The highlights are breakfast, the restaurant by the swimming pool, many varieties of drinks and ice cream, all are good, I will choose it next time I come to Sanmen.
