"When choosing this hotel, I saw reviews claiming it was the best in the seaside area, but my overall experience was quite average. Firstly, the parking lot design was extremely flawed. After parking in the underground garage, there was no elevator to the upper floors; we had to carry our luggage up the stairs before we could use the elevator. Since most hotel guests bring suitcases, and we had a child and a stroller with us, this was incredibly inconvenient. I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. The hotel design was also strange. The VIP reception was on the fifth floor, unlike typical hotels where you're greeted in the lobby. Our experience from the parking lot to the fifth floor was unpleasant, and the facilities didn't match the price. Secondly, regarding service, the overall experience was very average. Aside from one staff member at the fifth-floor reception, we barely encountered any hotel staff. We even had to walk to the adjacent reception building for breakfast. The previous night, we stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shenxianju, where the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. In comparison, our experience at the VIP hotel was a stark contrast, even though the VIP room rate was significantly higher than the DoubleTree by Hilton. A reviewer added us on WeChat the day before check-in, but it was essentially just for recording our license plate. The booking confirmation mentioned a complimentary gift, and reviews also confirmed it was included, but we didn't receive one upon check-out. Regarding the facilities, the hotel is quite old, and some are dated, but the rooms were generally decent. There was welcome fruit upon entry, and a late-night bowl of noodles was served, which tasted good. Overall, this experience was very average. I had high expectations for the hotel based on the reviews, but the actual experience was quite disappointing. For the price, I'm not satisfied with the experience."

This is a newly opened hotel, and the room was very spacious. They even upgraded us during the May Day holiday, and the service was excellent. We couldn't move the beds ourselves, but a staff member helped us put them together. The breakfast was also delicious! The location is super convenient, right in the city center. The only downside is that since it's a new hotel, there was a slight smell of renovation when we first entered the room.

Facilities: The smart toilet is great, and the decoration style is great. The soundproofing of the room is not very good, the smart voice is average, and some facilities are not connected. The breakfast is not bad, with many varieties. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Very good. Service: Very good.

I checked in late at night, and there was a minor issue at first, but Managers He and Li Kaibin were quick to respond and offered a very satisfactory solution. My stay was excellent, and I'll definitely come back next time. The overall experience was great, the breakfast was plentiful, and it's very close to the North Gate. Highly recommended!

I arrived at the hotel quite late, so I didn't get to experience most of its special features. Pros: 1. The hotel and room decor are tastefully done and the style is very appealing. 2. The bedding quality is excellent, with a high thread count, making it incredibly comfortable – a rare find in China. Cons: 1. The room signage is pretty poor; finding my way back to the room often felt like navigating a maze. 2. The staff-to-guest ratio is extremely low. Arriving in the evening, there was practically no service available. 3. The check-in wait time was excessively long. Given that it wasn't peak check-in time and there weren't many guests, this was quite unusual. 4. Despite checking in late, my request for a late checkout was denied with the reason 'fully booked.' Perhaps I've been spoiled by other hotels, but I don't think checking out at 2 PM is an unreasonable request. Even if the hotel is full, internal coordination could surely accommodate guest needs. Using this as a refusal only makes me feel the hotel's management is subpar, and I see no reason to return to see if their service has improved. 5. Breakfast was quite mediocre. The croissants were delicious, but everything else was just okay. The only live cooking station for noodles managed to produce something identical to instant ramen.

I visited Shenxianju a few years ago and was struck by how clean the stream next to it was. I remember thinking how wonderful it would be to take a dip in the river after an exhilirating hike. So, this time, I deliberately booked a hotel by the river again. I wondered why I hadn't noticed this idyllic, 'Shangri-La-like' hotel before, nestled by the mountains and water with refreshing air. Waking up naturally to the crisp sound of birdsong and then admiring the misty mountains from my window instantly lifted my spirits and energized me. The hotel staff, Angela, proactively added me on WeChat. She thoughtfully shared the hotel's location, check-in details, activity times, and recommended local Tujia cuisine restaurants. Her service was very attentive but never intrusive—kudos to her! The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both the South and North Gates. The underground parking is massive, making parking a breeze. So, whenever I went to the Shenxianju South or North Gate scenic areas, I just took a taxi back and forth. It was so easy and saved me the hassle of finding a parking spot at the scenic area itself.

This stay at Linhai was a wonderful experience. We went to the hotel reception desk hoping to change to a twin room, but they were very friendly and upgraded us. They also provided us with noodles and milk for dinner. They also promptly provided ice cubes for the bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. They even provided foot bath bags, allowing us to soak while enjoying the night view. This was the first pleasant surprise. The second pleasant surprise was the bowl of noodles we had in the evening. Having eaten too much at Rong Xiaoguan, we decided to try the noodles at the hotel. We ordered the vegetarian noodles, which were surprisingly delicious. They were surprisingly satisfying. Even with a full stomach, we ate one bowl and still wanted more. The breakfast the next day was excellent, combining local Linhai flavors with the standard amenities of most hotels. The taste was also quite good. The pool was not crowded during the day and looked clean, making it a great place for the kids to play in the water. Overall, the experience was positive, and I would definitely stay at Yuanzhou again when visiting Linhai.

The biggest surprise of the trip was finding a hotel with such a warm atmosphere 💛 The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby, making getting around quick and easy. From the moment I entered, I was filled with positive feelings. The lobby was elegant and clean, and the staff were polite and friendly, answering questions meticulously and patiently, making me feel incredibly welcome. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable, giving me complete peace of mind. The experience was so warm and comforting; I've already added it to my favorites and will definitely bookmark this hotel for future trips. I highly recommend it!

Sanmen is very small, and it is said that this hotel is considered good in Sanmen. The hotel is newly decorated (although the materials feel too ordinary), the room is quite large, and the service of the girl at the front desk is good. It was a bit busy during the Spring Festival, but the attitude was still very good. The highlights are breakfast, the restaurant by the swimming pool, many varieties of drinks and ice cream, all are good, I will choose it next time I come to Sanmen.

I stayed at Ruoheng when doing a trail run. It was a recommended hotel. There was a receptionist who spoke English and helped me order delivery food which a cute robot delivered to my room. Even though my room didn't have a window, it didn't bother me, was spacious and very comfortable. The shower was powerful too which I like. It's in a town but I didn't explore.
