Great
From the moment we checked in the gentleman was fantastic and extremely helpful. Rooms are nice. Pool area views amazing. Was really nice and would stay again
Finally, I made the trip to Croatia that I had been thinking about. The first stop was Split. I booked this hotel with the same name as the Diocletian Palace. Environment: It is in a residential area outside the city center, about two kilometers away from Riva Street and the bus terminal. The surrounding environment is average. You can see some sea views from the second floor and above, and you can see the panoramic view of the city from the seventh floor platform. Facilities: The room is very large, which is relatively rare in Europe. The air conditioning is OK. Our room is on the east side and has a balcony to see the side sea view. The room facilities are up to the four-star standard. There is an outswimming pool and a soaking pool on the seventh floor, and there is fitness. Hygiene: It is generally clean, but there are some problems with the design of the shower room. There is no barrier underneath, which is easy to flood. Service: It feels like a hotel bought and operated by a Filipino boss. The staff are all Filipinos. The service is OK. They speak English with some accents. The roomclean in the morning is a bit early, knocking on the door at nine o'clock. The breakfast is good and can be served until 11 o'clock.
The city view room also had a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast room was large, with a wide variety of options and a pleasant atmosphere. The beach club seemed to be public, with some lounge chairs, but it required walking up a few steps to reach them. The outdoor pool was pleasant and perfect for a drink. The hotel is not located in the city, but the free shuttle bus is very convenient. A taxi is about 6-7 euros. There are other free amenities, such as the sauna, which I didn't try. Luggage storage is available, and you can use the facilities after check-out. Overall, I was very satisfied.
Free parking with security. A few minutes drives to downtown and everywhere in split. A huge supermarket Konzum is in walking distance. Also convenience for busstop about 3-5 minutes walk. Breakfast is good for starting an energizied day.
