Busan Spa Hotels

First, the good points: The location is great, and the hygiene is good. Overall, there was no mold or strange smells, the sheets and pillowcases were clean, and the mattress was a little soft but acceptable. Now for some major, major issues: 1. The air conditioner vent blows directly onto the head of the bed (this is the case in every room type! You can see it in the photos the hotel provides). You can't adjust the fan speed or the direction of the vents! It blew so hard at night that I got a headache and couldn't sleep! 2. There's no one at the front desk from 12 AM to 5 AM! They can't resolve any of your problems! 3. If you feel cold because of the AC blowing on you, their solution is to tell you to turn on the dehumidifier (what's the use? Dehumidifiers also have a fan!). 4. When I said that because of the AC problem, they should give me an extra blanket (we had a double bed, but it was so cold, we needed two blankets to cover our heads and sleep!), the front desk told me an extra blanket would cost 30,000 Korean Won. (In the end, after I argued my case, the hotel did provide it for free). 5. There's a vent on the ceiling directly above the head of the bed that leaks even when it's off. I was sleeping and water started dripping down. The front desk's solution was to wipe it with a cloth, then turn on the vent for an hour and then turn it off. I had to go out in the middle of the night because the vent was so loud I couldn't sleep. 6. On the first day of check-in, the front desk told me breakfast could only be delivered to the room between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and no other times. However, the next day, when I said I needed to check out early and wanted breakfast delivered at 8 AM, another front desk staff member agreed. If there isn't actually such a breakfast time rule, then this is a service attitude problem with the first staff member, who indeed made me feel very uncomfortable and discriminated against throughout my stay! If there is such a rule, it's very inconvenient for guests! Guests leaving early can't eat, and guests waking up late can only eat cold food, as the hotel doesn't provide insulation. 7. For breakfast, you can choose between Korean and ********* style. The first front desk staff didn't actively inform me about the breakfast options, and the next morning I ate seafood porridge, but I'm allergic to seafood. When I was checking out and picking up my luggage, I overheard the same front desk staff clearly explaining the breakfast options to Korean guests! 8. There are no blackout curtains. If you're sensitive to light and might wake up, be sure to bring an eye mask! 9. The air conditioner is very noisy, regardless of the mode. If you have trouble sleeping, remember to bring earplugs! In short, I slept and ate poorly. That's all.

It was hell... I stayed for 2 nights. First, I checked in late after sending an email, but the front desk staff was there and handled everything kindly. The common areas were very clean. The sauna wasn't hot enough for my liking, but the hot springs warmed me up thoroughly, and the amenities in the shower booth helped soothe my fatigue. However, after warming up in the hot springs and resting in my capsule... it was hot. I thought maybe I'd gotten too warm in the hot springs, but it was still hot... I then noticed that the air conditioning on the floor wasn't on... I was sweating uncontrollably and felt like I was getting heatstroke. The staff member from before wasn't around, and there was no response to my chat inquiry... The air conditioning wasn't on in the common areas either. The room temperature was 25℃ to 29℃, and humidity was 69% to 80%. Inside the capsule, there was no fan, so when I pulled down the roll blind, it felt like a steam room... I couldn't bear it and went out for a walk... it was cooler outside... On the second day, I had an errand and went out, and when I returned at night, the air conditioning still wasn't on... There was no reply to my chat or email, and I seriously considered going to a different hotel... Finally, the air conditioning came on around midnight. Normally, I'm willing to put up with things that are commensurate with the price, but I can't stand the heat... It was a shame because the facilities themselves were good...

This really looks like a resort hotel. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the location is a bit out of the way – there aren't even any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It's quite close to the Dongbusan outlet mall though. The entire hotel complex is very fancy and huge. The parking lot is massive and luxurious, but there are so many cars... Check-in is on the 10th floor, and there were no bellhops or any signs to guide us. After checking in, no one told us where our room was, they just gave me a map... It took us half an hour to find it, circling around the hotel. I didn't see any staff during that time, and I was getting pretty annoyed. The room itself is quite large, but both the room and public areas show clear signs of wear and tear (lots of dirty marks on the walls, poorly maintained). The view is great though; you can see the ocean from the balcony and even catch the sunrise, although the angle is a bit off :) What I found most unacceptable was that the body wash/shampoo was just soap. It lathered up incredibly slowly and barely produced any suds. With my normal length but somewhat thick hair, just getting it to lather took me 15 minutes! It seriously prolonged my shower time. A truly awful experience. If you don't mind these things or bring your own toiletries and just care about the view, then this place is for you – the scenery is unbeatable. But all in all, I don't think it's worth the price. It's a hotel that's all style and no substance.

The room was super BIG and the bed was comfortable. Overall the place is quite well maintained. There were many food choices just downstairs and across the street. But it is not near any train station so it will be better to book an uber. There was a really nice pork katsu restaurant just right downstairs, the food was fantastic. As my train was later in the afternoon, I hv requested for a later checkout or to leave my luggage for a couple of hrs. This was rejected by the host. The host couldn't communicate with me in English which was difficult.

The room was spacious and had an electronic wardrobe. The cleanliness was acceptable, though there was noticeable dust around the computer desk. Complimentary bottled water was provided. Breakfast is served on the second floor, but it's only free from 7-9 AM, so if you're not an early riser, you'll miss it. The hotel is conveniently located behind Lotte Department Store in Seomyeon, with an Egg Drop and Matzanjib BBQ restaurant right at the alley entrance. Transportation is very convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby.

I chose this hotel because of its location and price, assuming I would be taking a taxi to the airport. Although it's far from the main tourist attractions, the shopping mall was convenient for dining and souvenir shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, which I think would be acceptable for most Japanese people. Check-in was also smooth.

I booked it because of the reasonable price and the interior design, and it was exactly as I saw in the photos. My only regret was that the comforter wasn't in good condition. I mentioned this to the front desk the next day, and they were even more attentive and cleaned it thoroughly. The location was also great, near Yongdusan Park and Gukje Market. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Busan.

All rooms have ocean views. I made a reservation in a hurry because I was taking a break during the holiday, but it was good value for money. The free breakfast was attractive (but I never ate it). Songjeong Station on the Beach Train is within 5 minutes on foot. The train passes right in front of the hotel, so you can see it from 9:30. When I went from the night of the 28th to 3/1, the motorcycle noise was loud outside, so I couldn't sleep (it's not the hotel's fault..). The bed was hard, but the room was clean. It was good to stay with my child. It's about a 15-minute walk to Songjeong Beach, but it was quiet, so it was nice. There are raw fish restaurants and grilled clam restaurants on the beach side, and there are many restaurants and cafes in the direction of Gudeokpo. It's far from the city center, but I highly recommend it to those who want quiet. If you're planning to go to Lotte World with your child, I highly recommend it (within 10 minutes by car).

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious, making it suitable for a short stay. The location is very convenient and it just a short walk from Busan Station with plenty of food and shops nearby. The staff at reception were not that friendly, but it did not really affect the overall experience. A nice feature is the heated floors at night, which made the room cozy.

It was close to the nearest station by walking ５!
