Great aesthetic boathouse stay providing a unique experience whole staying in Srinigar. You get taken to the boathouse by shikara, providing a nice view of the lake and a unique experience. Staff are friendly, and the food was excellent 😇

First trip to Kashmir, first time on one of the famous wooden houseboats (Wangnoo Sheraton). Unique atmospehere directly on the Nigin Lake including breakfast, dinner - and houskeeper Bashir. Excursion by boat and/or car to wonderful Mogul gardens, the astonishing swimming fields on the lake and old Srinaga with a very friendly scout. Return with beautiful souvenirs (Safran, Pashmina shorts and paper work boxes). Five intense days with wonderful people in an inspiring landscape!

Very Sub-par experience for us..better stay in a hotel where proper heating is provided..these guys switched off heating from 10pm to 6am, and all of us were shivering the whole night! Food is also not as good as that provided at hotels..they claim to give a home-like experience, but I guess that's only an excuse to cut costs.

Beautiful houseboat located at Nagin lake...Nagin lake is less crowded and more serene than Dal lake...they have well mannered staff, always ready to help...would specially mention bilal bhai and siddique bhai who took good care of us..food too was nice and homey...overall wonderful experience!.. However would suggest to be a little vigilent if booking thru travel agencies as there could be other boats with the same name..

Lovely houseboat with all comforts and warm Kashmiri hospitality and delicious local food! I especially liked the beautiful interiors --Kashmiri carpets and curtains and learnt that the hosts have their own showroom and encourage local art and artisans. Must visit for carpets. Bashirji , the caretaker was caring. and the hosts -Habibullahji and Akram and Ibrahim-are warm and welcoming and a font of information on places to see, visit -also beyond Sringar. Shukriya and hope to be back

If you are looking for a heavenly spot on Srinagar, you will find it on one of the cozy Sheraton hous3boats with a wonderful view of Lake Nagin and the magnificent mountains. Excellent service and delicious food in an original atmosphere. Boat owner Habib Wangnoo also helps organize interesting walks and fantastic excursions as ell as visits to the family's carpet and Pashmina shop. It's definitly worth staying for more than just one or two nights (we were there for 5 wonderful days) to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the country and its people!!

Great place, bright and beautiful interiors with Kashmiri decor which can keep you distracted. And offcourse having shopping at your doorstep as also engaging with interesting local artisans. The hosts father and son duo treat you with true kashmiri hospitality right from welcoming you to farewell... lovely place.. lovely people.... thankyou Akram and Ibrahim...for your suggestions and advise too

This houseboat surpassed my expectations! It had walls of walnut wood with beautiful carvings throughout. There was a crystal chandelier in the living room, and the bedroom was stunning with gossamer drapes around the bed. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck watching the sunset and taking shikara rides through Dal Lake. This is a do not miss experience if you are in Kashmir.

Wir verbrachten zunächst 4 Nächte auf dem Hausboothotel. sehr schönes und luxuriöses, altes, Boot, zu dem wir mit der Shikara gebracht wurden. Traumhafte Aussicht, ruhige Lage! Sehr aufmerksamer Service, Hilfe für alle Wünsche der Organisation!
