"This hotels location is great. It's near to everything.
I walked to the main tourist attractions.
The hotel room was great. I was expecting a single room, but I got a double, always a bonus.
The room is a little dated, but I quite liked that. It took me back to when I was a child going down the working man's club with my parents 𤣠keeping it retro , love it!
The room had everything I needed. It was clean and light (even had shutters and blacked out curtains, which made the room dark).
The staff were helpful & polite, which is all I ask for.
The only negatives were the tram line (which could be quite loud and rumble at times) & the hotel tax; they wanted it in cash/euros I didn't have any euros as I didn't think I'd need them, thinking I could pay with everything by card.
Other than that, a great stay in Rome."

GGuest UserFantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer.
But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here.
What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella.
Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc.
But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , âTrattoria del pesceâ just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry!
Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - âtranquiloâ.

AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent; they even messaged me a few days before to ask about my arrival time. The Asian gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and spoke great English. On our last day, he even helped us book a taxi. The location is amazing â just a short walk around the corner and you're at the fountains!

AAnonymous UserMy overall experience was fantastic! The location is great, with plenty of shops nearby and all the attractions within walking distance. The common areas and restaurant are well-decorated and equipped. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious set menus at good prices, and I highly recommend the roasted potatoes at the buffet. The staff were all incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. The beds are large with curtains for excellent privacy. My only minor complaints are that turning over in bed or pulling the curtains creates a lot of noise, and the sensor lights in the bathroom automatically turn off. Other than that, it was a superb experience!

KKseniaThis was an incredibly wonderful hotel. You could get coffee, and there was a kitchen just 10 minutes from the Colosseum. The service was perfect, and we were able to help you choose restaurants and attractions. We were fully responsive and answered any questions. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel.

GGuest UserIn general the we had a grate stay, staff were really friendly and kind and the room was clean. We were in room 100 so really close to the front desk and starting from 7am we could hear gardeners using leaf blowers non stop for like 3 hours and it was hard to get a rest, also if your going in spring or winter take warm clothes because the rooms are cold. The pool is really nice and the location is grate if you donât mind taking the bus, there is also a massive super market with grate prices in front of it.

Kkat.tripsIt was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.

FFawad Traveller UKFrom the moment we arrived at Fabulous Village in Rome, we were genuinely impressed. As soon as you enter the property, you are welcomed by extremely professional, respectful, and friendly security staff. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the reception team was very helpful. They took the time to explain all the facilities available and even shared how magical and dream-like the place becomes during the summer months which honestly made us want to come back again!
We were assigned House **147**, and I must say, it completely exceeded our expectations. For the very reasonable and justified price we paid, what we got was unbelievable. The accommodation included **three bunk beds and one double bed**, which was perfect and very spacious. The kitchen was decent and well-equipped with everything you might need, the toilet was clean and well-maintained, and the additional heating was fantastic especially appreciated during cooler weather. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the stay and felt the value for money was outstanding.
That said, there is **one area that really needs improvement**, and Iâm confident we are not the only guests whoâve faced this issue: the **laundry service**.
While itâs good that laundry facilities are available, they are **painfully expensive** (âŹ5 for 30 minutes of washing and âŹ4.50 for 35 minutes of drying), and unfortunately, the instructions are very unclear and difficult to follow. Because of this lack of guidance, itâs very easy to make a mistake â and if you do, the machine simply resets, keeps your money, and does not return it.
In our case, we put our clothes in the machine, paid âŹ5 for the wash, and it started correctly. Due to the unclear instructions, we assumed we needed to insert the âŹ4.50 in advance so that the dryer would start automatically after washing. We did so but the machine did nothing and still took our money. When we went to reception, only security was available (it was 23:38), and they informed us that nothing could be done until morning. Unfortunately, we had to check out before 06:00, so we never got our âŹ4.50 back.
Aside from this laundry issue, everything else about Fabulous Village was excellent from the staff and accommodation to the overall atmosphere. With clearer instructions and better handling of laundry-related issues, this place would easily be close to perfect.
**Highly recommended**, and I would absolutely stay here again â hopefully next time in summer! đâ¨

The hotel has a 24 hour reception and a lift, the street where it is located is very touristy with restaurants and bars open until late, there are various supermarkets and McDonald's, one of which is open 24 hours a day.
At night the view from the rooms overlooking the street is very nice

GGuest UserThe location is spot on! Itâs not far to walk to anywhere from this hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants around so easy to find a lovely evening meal.
The breakfast was simple but I enjoy that. There was fruit, eggs, pastries, bread, coffee and juice laid out each morning.
The room is very basic and small. I understand that the pictures online and the rooms can vary, but this was very different to what we thought we had booked online. The balcony is very small and just a simple view of the nearby roofs. But the bed was extremely comfortable, I had a great nights sleep every night.
The reception staff were helpful with everything and gave us great advise about travelling around Rome.
This was a great place to stay if youâre only using to the room sleep.
