Great
EEâŠA vibe, with many backpackers and friendly staff. There is a rooftop pool with a bar area. You can chill and enjoy the view. Shared bathrooms are clean and they give you a towel. No soap, luckily I packed my own. They have really good pizza and a good breakfast menu. The front desk ladies organized my airport transportation easily. Bed was comfortable and clean with a blanket.
VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff.
My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests.
During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water.
The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.
Ss.oya_Great location. They don't provide towels for free, so if you need them you can rent it for 50 pesos. You can also book a tour or ferry through the front desk and it's super convenient. The room is nice. It has an air conditioner and a fan. The bed was big with a clean linen.
If you book a 12 person room you will have a shower in a room, but the water pressure there is weak. But you can go to the 2nd floor bathroom.
TThatgurlThe location was nice, not too noisy but still very close to the center. People at reception are very nice and helpful. They can help you book different things such as ferry tickets, transportation and activities.
Bathroom was not super clean and some pipes was leaking. They provide one towel and there is a tube of shampoo in the bathroom if you donât have anything itâs helpful. There is bathroom and toilet in your room but also some in common area if needed.
The room was ok, there is curtains to protect from light and people passing. Itâs also quite easy to go on the upper bed. AC is not too strong and you can ask reception to regulate.
Globally, itâs a good hostel and for the price it really worth it.
--IVI-During my recent visit to the Divine Castle Travelers Inn in Coron, Busuanga, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The inn stood out for its exceptional cleanliness, which was a welcome relief after a long day of travel. The pristine condition of the rooms and common areas was truly impressive.
What truly set this inn apart, however, was its picturesque location nestled next to a gentle hill. The scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape added an extra layer of charm to my stay. Waking up to the sight of lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature was a true delight.
The inn's proximity to the hill also meant that I could easily take a leisurely stroll and explore the natural beauty of the area. It provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to unwind and recharge.
Overall, my experience at Divine Castle Travelers Inn was nothing short of delightful. The combination of cleanliness and its idyllic location made it a memorable and enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in Coron, I highly recommend considering this inn.
GGuest UserReview for Ginto Residence in El Nido â 4/5 Stars
Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if youâre looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful â free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If youâre in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below â but keep in mind, youâll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, Iâd definitely stay here again. Itâs a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!
GGuest UserWe spent 4 nights at this hotel.
The real positive is the swimming pool and its garden.
A great quiet place to rest in this town of Coron.
Bravo also for the cooking, the cooking is excellent !!
On the negative side, excursions to the islands are more expensive than in town ...
Nevertheless a great stay in Kokosnuss
GGuest UserGreat location - short walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ATM/banks, harbour for island hopping, tour agencies, market, etc. The staff are helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They serve a decent Filipino buffet breakfast (6:30-9:00am) that will surely fill you up for your adventures. This hotel has an elevator, which is convenient. They offer a safe for your valuables at the reception (not in the rooms), and they keep them safely. The only downside is the WiFi is only available in the lobby and dining area and not in the rooms, but this wasnât a problem for us. One problem for us is the smell from the pipes in the bathroom (sometimes), but the overall cleanliness is good. I would go back and stay in this property again. FYI, we stayed in Room SK, which was quite big with a balcony (great for hanging your wet stuff from island hopping - ask for a portable stand hanger).
GGuest UserOverall the place is good, is mostly clean and front desk ladies were really helpful breakfast was correct.
Location is good even though is not in the proper downtown is really nearby and as an additional or extra benefit is over a hill so you would feel safe in case of maybe storms or tsunami. My only concern is that the room was too small, but they informed you about it so is correct.
