"A lot to love but some big problems too.
Amazing location, great big room, and very easy check-in. Love that there's a sofa in the room and a fridge.
Problems:
- A/C (Or a pump of some sort) extremely loud from 6am in our room (3) and made sleeping impossible, extremely annoying. It lasted hours.
- Bathroom had a bad smell like sewage, constantly.
- No shower curtain turned the bathroom into a lake every time we showered, even when trying to be careful."

Very Good
AAnonymous Userthe room was satisfactory at a whole, esp with the little balcony attached for a small laundry zone, electric water kettle for making hot tea, a small refrigerator for use, a big plastic bucket in bathroom and hair dryer provided. The lightings are bright enough. TV also offered a few channels.
if a microwave or a small oven could be provided by the hotel for customers reheating their takeaway food or bread, alongside with a mini size folderable tea table, they would definitely earn an extra score by all customers.

OOlCrWanted a cheap place for my weekend stay, and this place also looked cute. Whilst the rooms were fun, the general hallway and shared spaces were not so clean.
Despite being told there was free luggage storage, this was unavailable when I arrived - I wasn’t even given a key to my locker in the room. One guest had told me his shoes had been stolen on his first night, so you can imagine I was concerned for my luggage as I could not store them securely.
Ended up checking out early, finding a cheap hotel that promised privacy and security.
PPierre EdmondNice clean standard Ibis Hotel. Airport shuttle available every 20 minutes, very convenient service; 5-8 minutes drive.
Two minors issues with the room; external bathroom door knob was missing and some water leaks under the sink. The housekeeping should observe such small details and act accordingly.
Comdortable bed, good aircon.
Some teabags and coffee should be made available in-room for guests.
Restaurant's prices are a little high ~20€ for a good and decent hamburger.
Breakfast buffet ok.
Reception, restaurant and shuttle's staff were all friendly and responsive.
In all a good and very decent no frills airport hotel.
GGuest UserThe attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable.
For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before.
Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus.
The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station.
Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.
GGuest UserI thought the location was good because it was about a 10-minute walk from Sofia Central Station, within walking distance to the center, and there was a supermarket nearby.
It's not that it's not clean, but the overall impression of the hotel was dark. Maybe it's the carpet or the lighting.
The service was not bad, but the receptionist was a little blunt or unfriendly. I heard that many Bulgarian people are shy as a national character, so I think that's the way it is.
Amenities included shampoo, shower gel, bar soap, bath towels, face towels, and bath mats, but there were no tissues, toothbrushes, slippers, or loungewear. There is no water in a plastic bottle, so when you drink coffee or tea that is provided as an amenity, you need to use tap water or the water you bought yourself.
All the breakfasts were delicious.
It seems that there is basically no person in charge other than replenishing meals and serving dishes, so it seems that each person can use it freely.

GGuest UserIt's only a direct subway ride from the airport.
It's in the center of Sofia, making it convenient for sightseeing.
As for the facilities, the shower only had a partition on one side, so hot water would splash out and get the toilet floor wet, but other than that it was very comfortable.
The interior was elaborate and had an artistic feel.
There is no breakfast, but there is a large supermarket nearby where you can buy food and eat, which is convenient.

GGuest UserBokked this hotel multiple times, and have never been disappointed, nor have I been particularly impressed.
In general cleanliness is ok, although that time,.some rust in the bathroom snd black marks on the wall near the bed gave some bad taste.
I guess it's because.some rooms have not yet been res
Freshes, while many others have.
Overall ok for price.
SShi TsengLocation is top of the consideration. Centre located that you can walk to most popular attraction. Metro or tram is very close within steps. Hotel is partly renovated. I believe it will be amazing when finished. Breakfast is not included. 15 Lev per person with small buffet that you can choose most popular items, ie, eggs, ham, sausages, breads or cereals. But they are not very hot on the warmers. However, I would still recommend people to go there for sleep and shower. Room was big enough and balcony overlook the city. Price is very good compare to same standard 3 stars hotel. Staff speaks reasonable English that is convenient. Good luck!
